Description of Work: Our tub faucet had a severe leak, so we called Smylie One to have it repaired. The faucet was repaired and is working perfectly.

Description of Work: First off thanks to Angies list for hooking me up with Smylie One out of Chesterland Ohio. It was a pleasure to do business with them. From my first Email they responded right away. I then called to have someone come out for a quote, again prompt service. Cary Venturella came out and showed what true professional organization Smylie is. He looked over my project and gave me a very fair and honest price. I agreed to have them do the the work and asked about the 10% senior discount as shown on Angies list. Cary was unsure and refered me to the office. The next day I called and spoke to a very nice gentleman (I forgot his name,SORRY) who was also unsure of the 10% discount. He called me back within 2 minutes of my call to inform me that I would get the discount from Angies list. He set up an appointment within 4 days and thanked me for my call..On Monday (Oct 31st) Smylie called several times to inform me that Cary was still on his call and gave me an ETA update. Cary showed up at 4PM and immediately went to work. He was fast,very friendly and very efficient. He did everything I wanted and then some. I felt sorry for him he must have taken his shoe covers off and on 20 times. My wife had several questions about future upgrades which Cary gladly answered. He was done in an hour+half. Cleaned up after himself and even hauled away my old toilet. The final price was exactly what we had agreed on and Cary left with my THANKS for a job well done. I also joined there Partnership Plus Plan to insure great pricing on future work. Thanks again Smylie One and thanks to Angies list. PS- Work performed was a new gas line to my fireplace and replace my toilet.

Description of Work: Smylie One installed a new HVAC system in our family room that is on a concrete slab. We had been trying to figure out what to do to properly heat and air condition this room as the HVAC floor vents had rusted out and it would be very complicated to jackhammer the concrete floors to try to reinstall vents and we didn't want the look of an overhead vent going through the room. Smylie One suggested a ventless Fujitsu Split Air Conditioner and Heat Pum system that turned out to be the perfect solution to our problem. It hangs on the wall unobtrusively and works beautifully. The lines from the HVAC pump run from the back of the unit into our storage room behind it and outside to an external unit which they hung on the outside wall so that snow accumulation during the winter won't interfere with the unit's operation. Smylie One also removed the huge old 1960's gas furnace and capped off the gas line.

Description of Work: AC Unit was not pumping cold air. Called Smylie One at 8 AM and technician arrived at 10:00 AM. Quickly diagnosed problem as a failed capacitor and replaced it. Checked to make sure unit was functioning and then did a quick inspection of the furnace unit as well. Technician Eric was very polite and professional. I would certainly recommend this company to a friend and/or family member. I also signed up for their Protection Plus program which is also a great deal. Service completed in under one hour.

Description of Work: Smylie One re-installed two furnaces that were installed incorrectly by another company. I had a real mess here. All the people of Smylie One that I had contact with were really exceptional. I was almost a basket case and was assured that they could get me up and running. They did!! I was not talked into replacing the furnaces with the brand they sell. They thought I had spent enough money initially. They were going to repair the mess I had to the best of their ability.

Description of Work: My central air conditioning unit was not cooling my house. The Smylie technician did a diagnostic and found that the A/C unit had a failed capacitor and was low on freon. He replaced the capacitor and added some freon. My A/C performed well for the rest of the summer...and it was a rather hot summer. I don't remember the technician's name, but he was helpful, courteous, and professional
