Called Smylie because they are my plumbing heating ect contractors. We had little or no water pressure for awhile. They came out 4 hours after our call. Dwight came in and found our problem to be a water-logged pressure tank. He showed me exactly the problem and how I CAN REPAIR IT if it happens again in the future. After a half-hour he was finished. Problem solved. When asked of cost (I'm a partnership plus plan member) he shook my hand and said "nothing". He said all he did was show me how to fix a water-logged pressure tank. Thanks Dwight, you are a true professional and a h*** of a nice guy. I'm still in awe of what happened.. Companies don't do this nowadays. BUT SMYLIE DOES! I LOVE THESE GUYS!

He was going to charge me $80 for the call but when I question this. He supposedly waived it. I suspect it was built into the estimate. I had a gas leak coming from two fittings and a shutoff valve on a pipe connected to the furnace. He sprayed some liquid and didn't see any bubbles on the valve. I expected not to pay over $200 to get this fixed. I was shocked at over $400. I went with another provider and I was charge almost half this and this provider mentioned replacing the shutoff. I'm glad I replaced the valve because it was leaking gas, you could smell it up close.

The Smylie One team showed up on time both mornings of the two day job. They cleaned up all work areas impeccably. When the installation was finished they explained how to use the new equipment clearly and thoroughly. The technicians were friendly and professional. I give them the highest recommendation possible.

He was really professional. Found the part and let us know how much it would cost. He stated that the unit had a part that was broken and he replaced it. I think it was a condensor.

Th2 work was performed on the day it was scheduled and finished the next day. The contract obligations were fulfilled to include additional information to me personally. The work was completed at my daughters home a thousand miles from my residence. Everyone is happy.

We contacted Smylie one for a furnace problem (it was making an unusual noise). Their technician visitied our home and evaluated the problem. The problem was serious. The technician explained the problem (by showing us the damaged equipment) and explained several options. The options were to repair the furnace, knowing that the problem would reoccur in the future, or to purchase a new furnace. The AC unit was also part of the problem and both the furnace and the AC unit were at the end of their expected lifecycles. Using this information, we asked Smylie One to give us a price for replacing both the furnace and AC unit. Gary Rosen came out and looked at the house and asked about the way we used our systems. Then he suggested several options to give us a range on the pricing. He followed up with a detailed e-mail that outlined the two options we preferred and gave us the prices. We asked questons in a follow up e-mail and he responded to our e-mail quickly and completely. We compared the Smylie One proposal to another Angie's List provider's proposal and chose to go with Smylie One. Gary's proposal was the most complete and the best value. We scheduled an installation date and Josh and Rob arrived on time and ready to work. The work proceeded in a very orderly manner. They were courteous and kept the house clean. The installation was a two day project. At the end of the first day, we had heat from our new furnace and the basement work area was neat and tidy. They arrived on time the second day and completed the job in the early afternoon. Before leaving, they provided a complete explanation of the new systems and how to access and change the filters. The work area was spotless and we were very happy with the results. We would recommend Josh and Rob for the good work they did.

The furnace worked for a week and then stopped again, Parts are guaranteed for a year and they replaced at no charge a secound time and we have had no troulble since.

When their servicemen arrive at your home they don protective foot covering to prevent soiling floor covering and do their work neatly and efficiently.

I had bought one of their service contracts on special for a clean and check on both my furnace and air conditioner. They called me to remind me to make an appointment for the furnace clean. Everything went well. They were on time and professional.

It was excellent all the way around. They did a fine job, I have no complaints, and they were very honest.

Our air conditioner was not working properly and they came out to look at it. The compressor died and they recommended that we replace our 37 year old furnace with a new more efficient one along with a new high efficiency air conditioner. They removed the old units, replaced them, moved the position of the furnace and redid the duct work. This was all done in a very timely manner and very efficiently. By the first day of the second heat wave this summer the new AC was up and running. The estimate was accurate. We were very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

Most recently, we had a problem with our blower/heat pump unit that services our second floor. They came and removed the unit so that we could clean up water that we thought had come through a rusted drain pan. A couple days later, we had water in the attic again. I called Smylie One at 3am and they came out an hour later. The source of the water was a clogged line which was backing up the drain line from the now-missing blower unit. Smylie One came and cleared the drain line a couple hours later. It was quite a mess and we were very happy to have them help us sort it out. They are now installing a new unit in the attic. I feel confident that they will do a good job and bring forward any issues that may come up as they perform the work. I know that I can depend on Smylie One to be there when I need professional heating/cooling or plumbing work.

Marty from Smylie came out and gave us an estimate, I then upgraded the furnace (after 1st quote) and Marty gave me another quote and then came back with a lower final price. It was exactly what I wanted. They set up the installation date. Aprox 8 days after agreement. Ralph and Dennis showed up on time and the next day the complete job was finished. They were professional, complete,very neat and very friendly. They explained everything in detail and I was totally satisfied with the entire process. Finding Smylie was like finding a "great mechanic". I will use them for all the services they provide from now on. They have given me "TOTAL" peace of mind. THANK YOU SMYLIE-ONE !!!!!!!!!

I had made a review of various contractors a couple of years back and I found them to be conveniently close by, and I got a good deal when I had the entire system replaced. They take care of everything. They put on the booties and come in with all their equipment. They are ready to take care of everything, and they do. I like them. The price is very good. They call ahead of time to schedule, and then a reminder, and then they call within about half an hour that they are showing up to make sure that everything is ready.

They gave us an excellent presentation and the guy was excellent. They were close to the people we chose to go with and the difference was about $100. The estimate was for $9500. I would recommend them though we didn’t go with them. He called back several times and he sent me emails with pictures. He called me when he said he would and he was there when he said he would be there.

We called them on a Monday morning. Monday afternoon, they came to our home and developed three estimates, on the spot, to help us decide what type of water heater we would use to replace the broken water heater and where the new one would be located. They answered our questions and provided information we could use to assess the estimates. Then they scheduled the water heater replacement for the next afternoon. The next day they were on time and replaced the water heater in a couple of hours. The final cost was the exact cost in their extimate. We were happy with the entire process.

The whole experience was great. The plumber, Steve, was professional and polite the whole time. He repaired the faucet, and while he was in our basement, he noticed that our water softener filter needed to be replaced. Since we had a few new filters down there, he went ahead and changed it for us, no charge. He also inspected our water pressure tank and hot water heater, and since they were both quite old and in need of replacement, he worked up a quote for both jobs while he was here. We appreciated the advice and are deciding whether to replace the appliances.

Smylie One responded to my called quickly. A technician arrived at promptly at 5pm that evening, which was a Friday. He shut off my water immediately, and installed a new unit as soon as he could. I was thankful for their quick service.

Marty came out and gave us a good price and explained things clearly. Ralph spent all day on the installation due to unexpected problems,but he made sure it was done right. the total cost was actually less than origionally quoted.
