Gary and Joseph were very professional during the quotation stage. They brought up several issues which we had not thought of and it seemed that they knew more about their product and their competitors products than either of the other two companies we interviewed. We selected them for the job despite the fact that they were slightly higher in price because we were convinced they would do a better job on the installation and eventually on routine and emergency maintenance. We had the advantage of knowing a couple of people who had used them previously and we were given glowing recommendations - now we know why. The first thing that their installer did when he came to the work site was walk around the installed system and evaluate what was right and what was wrong. To my surprise he called out several issues with the existing installation and I thought he might be looking to up-sell me - but no - much to my surprise he told me that his job was to make the installation correct and unless it required some truly major work or parts he was going to correct everything at no additional cost. His installation went from an original estimate of 7 hours to more than 10 hours because he made so many changes to the existing plumbing and duct work! At each stage he showed me what he was changing and explained why. Some of the previous installation was truly horrible and I am very thankful he took the time to correct things. Meanwhile the outside crew was installing the compressor and they were also good. At the end of the day I was not happy about how they had chosen to place the compressor and they promised to come back the next morning and change it to what I wanted. To do this they had to pull the compressor out (cut lines etc) then re-grade the ground and then replace the compressor, we braze all the lines and pump the lines back out. All the time THEY were apologizing to ME! Honestly had I known how much work it was going to be to correct this minor issue I would have felt bad about mention it - but they assured me they wanted me 100% satisfied and so I am! Why am I giving them an "A" for price when they were not the lowest priced supplier? Because the value they delivered for the money was deserving of an "A". You get what you pay for with these guys!

Matt arrived on time. He explained everything and encouraged my questions. He was professional and courteous. we expect to use him again in summer and winter seasons.

I have used them before. Their price for the water heater was astronomical. I think they were trying to take advantage of an emergency situation. I would only use them again in the future if the price was right.

I was lucky and received a same-day appointment to have the heating system inspected. It seemed to be blowing cold for a bit and wasn't reaching a desired temp. Rob came out within 2 hours of my call. He was so friendly, spent about 1- 1.5 hours inspecting everything. Of course, we couldn't get the problem to occur while he was here, but based on his assessment of the heating system, I feel comfortable everything looks good. He completed a thorough inspection.

It went well. I was able to get a new pipe, toilet tank and a valve put under my kitchen sink. I didn't have to pay much for parts and he didn't ask me to pay any extra for labor.

I purchased the service coupon from angies list however it has not been removed from my bill. I am being billed for the full amount of the work. I dont know if this is an angies list issue or issue with the business but I would like my $72 back before going to the better business bureau.

Heat pump was shorting out and would not run. When the serviceman arrived the heat pump worked! However, he , investigated the unit and found the problem. Informed me of my options and that was it. Was shocked to have found an honest heating and cooling company..

I use them all the time. I have a yearly agreement and so they come out and clean it and replace the filters and make sure everything is going right. They are an 'A' plus for me. I would grade them 'A' for everything. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They do good work. I don't have any problem with them. They're on time, they do real work, they're real professional people.

Prompt and completed job. No longer live in that house so I don't know if the drain is still clear.

I chose them after looking at the reviews on Angie's List. They stood out when they came out for the estimate and they did excellent work. The staff was professional. They came in and cleaned up. They did what they were supposed to do. I had the housing inspector come out twice and the company owner also came out because he could not understand why the housing inspector was complaining about stuff. But he did everything they asked him to do.

They were very good. He was punctual and clean. He was able to fix the issue by replacing a piece and saving me money in the long run. He educated me on how he did not have to replace the entire part.

I have to rate them as a C for quality for two reasons. 1) They installed a new gas line but did not leak check it. I smelled gas in my basement and checked the line and found one of the new fittings leaking. 2) When they installed the cap for the flue they did not attach it with sheet metal screws. We had high winds the next day and the flue cap ended up in my yard. They fixed both of these problems fairly quickly but they should have never have happened in the first place.

Better then excellent! Tech knew the furnance manufactuer had a recall on the bad parts so it was all cvoered under a recall! We were beyond thankful to know he was honest and knowledgeable. This was a big all day job they were able to get the parts out to our home same day and get us heat once again. Would use them again it pays to use a person in the trade that is skilled, we would of never know this was a recall.

It went great. Arrived when scheduled. (between 1 and 3) Called before arriving (called at 1:40 pm). Arrived at 2 pm. I told them I had a conflicting appointment (had to drop off my son about 10 minutes away at 2 pm), so the technician waited outside the 10 minutes for me to get back. Eric, the technician, wore foot protection to keep the house clean. He listened to what the problem was, and what I had already tried and tested. He explained how the furnace worked, and why what I did might have kept the furnace from resetting. The furnace worked when he reset it, so then he did a thorough inspection. He cleaned out all the rust in the heat exchanger, and fixed a wire that was missing insulation. The reason the furnace quit was a likely the big wind storm we had a few days ago, forcing air down the chimney and tripping the flue spill sensor. The furnace has had draft issues in the past. Our furnace is 25 years old, and while it is running now, given the poor condition he could not guarantee its safe operation and recommended we get a new one, and to be safe, he recommended we get CO detectors now. Before leaving he gave me information on their maintenance program, which would have waived the service call fee. This is the second time I have used Smylie One, and both times I have been very pleased with their professional service and their cost. (There was a $40 off coupon at the time, which made the price even better.)

Timely, punctual, professional and reasonable. They were responsive, on time, came out very quickly to give an estimate. The estimate was the most reasonable. There were absolutely no negative for them. I would use them in the future.

very nice and responsive. I was only disappointed at the cost. My fault. I should have asked. Came out to find the problem and I thought I was quoted a price but when the repair was done a few days later a different price was given. And this may have been my fault for not double checking. But after the installation I called around and found out it was a very steep price. I would use them again, but I would get a price and check around first.

It was wonderful. In fact, I signed up to use their heating & A/C service as well.

We have signed a two year service contract with this provider. They have given us excellent service. They were courteous and responded promptly when we called.

The experience was fine. I have an electric system. The HVAC system works well now. They sent me an estimate and gave me two possible scenarios for what it would cost, so I wouldn’t have any surprises. They were on time, polite, and got the job done.

He was excellent. He did something that no else had ever done, which was removing the burners from the furnace and letting us know that they were clogged, and chemically cleaned them. He was top notch. He replaced the humidifier pad, and checked the through the wall heaters, and gave me a really good price.

They're great. They're very professional and trustworthy. Everything was always done efficiently and correctly, and they didn't take shortcuts.

I’ve used them around 6-7 years. The technician is knowledgeable and was able to help me with my rentals as well. They call you a half hour before they show up, or will call you if they will be late. They do same day work if you don't have heat in the winter. They show up on time, the workers know what they’re doing, and they’re very professional. They also have contracts where you can save money on routine maintenance, parts, and labor.

They're prompt, neat, and I will continue to use them in the future.
