The service tech showed up when expected, got to work right away, and fixed the leak. It took far less than the 1 hour of time that I had pre-paid for, but the Angie's List deal ($170 for service call with 1 hour of labor) was a fair price, and I have no complaints.

Excellent! We've now dealt with a salesperson, a plumber and a couple furnace/AC installers from Smylie and all were thorough, professional and extremely focused on customer service. We worked with Joey when purchasing the furnace and AC and out of all the companies we got quotes from, he spent the most time with us understanding our needs and figuring out the proper equipment for our house. Whenever we had follow-up questions, he responded to calls and texts instantly. When we noticed that the pipe below our water meter was leaking, George from Smylie was out within hours and the woman I spoke to at their main office called me several times to give me updates on where the repairman was on his route. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and when we decided to do the repair, he was back bright and early the following morning and had everything fixed and working in 2 hours. Finally, we just finished having our furnace and AC installed. Josh and Josh (easy to remember!) were right on time and finished the installation within 2 days as planned. Despite having to replace 2 units that were probably over 50 years old and having to move the AC to a different location, they made everything seamless. I really appreciated how clean they kept the area throughout the process and they went above and beyond to seal up and reattach some lose ductwork as well. Everything is working beautifully!

He was very helpful. I had purchased a $40 coupon. Upon checking my existing thermostat he saw that the Up bottom was stuck. He was able to work it and so far it is working... So it was not necessary to replace it at this time. It cost me $40 but could have been more costly. Regained my faith in service people. Thank you Smylie and Angie's list

A new 50 gallon gas fired tank, new fittings, a floor pan, and a correctly sized expansion tank were installed. This replaced a poorly installed old 40 gallon tank. Installation went in on schedule, and the result is a properly working tank flawlessly installed. We also had a section of the sanitary sewer line replaced and two clean-outs were added. This corrected an existing clean out that was not done correctly and fixed a belly in the sanitary line. As with the hot water tank, the repair was done on time, correctly, and all debris was removed. The cost of the tank and that installation was $1624.00; the remaining cost was for the sanitary line repair. All of the work was thoroughly explained to us before the job began, and we were updated as things proceeded. We were very satisfied with the process and end result. Excellent people, excellent service!

He cleaned the furnace but never told us what the cost was and he just came up stairs and charged my credit card $400 without ever discussing the price. My husband and I have health problems and he took advantage of us. Also, the boiler is still making a banging sound.

George did an excellent job. I would have him come back again any time I needed plumbing jobs.

The company that installed our HVAC system used to service our HVAC twice yearly, We had a plan with them. Turns out they charge you extra for fixing something they broke during a service call or even just their incorrect installation. So we called SmilieOne and are really happy we did. They identified the issue immediately. The blower fan was installed off balance and was scraping the side of the unit because it had become loose. So he balanced it and tightened it, its been quiet for a few months. I highly recommend these guys.

Called this morning, and technician came out 2 hours after I called, identified the problem, installed the part and had it fixed in an hour. Couldn't be happier. The people on the phone were friendly and helpful, as was Rob, the service technician. Used the Angie's coupon and saved $40 on the service call fee.

I called Smylie One hoping for a same-day appt. They were busy but said they would put me on the list to hopefully get an appt from a cancel or from a job that went faster than expected. I got a call back an hour later that their man was on the way. He assessed the problem, explained to me how it all worked and why it wasn't, and determined I needed Freon. He called the AC company and found I had a warranty on labor and parts for 4 more years, so charged me only for the service diagnostic call and for Freon. We found a coupon on Angie's to save on the call. Super friendly, as always, fast and reliable.

I had a billing issue with them for a while but we got it resolved a couple of days ago. Basically it was fine.

It was good. They were friendly and responsive and willing to come out and help me out despite the fact that the coupon was only meant for a diagnostic. Granted what I needed help with was VERY fast and simple, but they could have been jerks about it. They weren't. Seem like good people.

Gary and Joseph were very professional during the quotation stage. They brought up several issues which we had not thought of and it seemed that they knew more about their product and their competitors products than either of the other two companies we interviewed. We selected them for the job despite the fact that they were slightly higher in price because we were convinced they would do a better job on the installation and eventually on routine and emergency maintenance. We had the advantage of knowing a couple of people who had used them previously and we were given glowing recommendations - now we know why. The first thing that their installer did when he came to the work site was walk around the installed system and evaluate what was right and what was wrong. To my surprise he called out several issues with the existing installation and I thought he might be looking to up-sell me - but no - much to my surprise he told me that his job was to make the installation correct and unless it required some truly major work or parts he was going to correct everything at no additional cost. His installation went from an original estimate of 7 hours to more than 10 hours because he made so many changes to the existing plumbing and duct work! At each stage he showed me what he was changing and explained why. Some of the previous installation was truly horrible and I am very thankful he took the time to correct things. Meanwhile the outside crew was installing the compressor and they were also good. At the end of the day I was not happy about how they had chosen to place the compressor and they promised to come back the next morning and change it to what I wanted. To do this they had to pull the compressor out (cut lines etc) then re-grade the ground and then replace the compressor, we braze all the lines and pump the lines back out. All the time THEY were apologizing to ME! Honestly had I known how much work it was going to be to correct this minor issue I would have felt bad about mention it - but they assured me they wanted me 100% satisfied and so I am! Why am I giving them an "A" for price when they were not the lowest priced supplier? Because the value they delivered for the money was deserving of an "A". You get what you pay for with these guys!

Matt arrived on time. He explained everything and encouraged my questions. He was professional and courteous. we expect to use him again in summer and winter seasons.

I have used them before. Their price for the water heater was astronomical. I think they were trying to take advantage of an emergency situation. I would only use them again in the future if the price was right.
