Spoke directly with Jenny on the phone and everything seemed fine. Plumber would either be to our house the same day or first thing the following day. However, they never showed up for repairs and never called to state they were delayed or running behind. My calls to them was not returned. Very disappointed with their management and customer service. They do not seem to be dependable with their appointments.

Description of Work: Did not show up for appointment for estimate. Called the next week and said they got tied up, yet no call to let me know. Did come and look at project following week. Have called every week and after 4 weeks and no estimate, looking elsewhere.

He is the third plumber out to fix this problem and he just put new tap on it. After some of the other plumbers came out, the bath would start dripping again within a week. After Jeff fixed the bath, we have had no drips in the last three months. I found them on a Wednesday and he would be there first thing in the morning Thursday. He ended up calling me later that day to let me know someone had cancelled and he could come right out. Very courteous, very polite. He cleans up after himself and even removes his shoes at the door.
Description of Work: I have one of those corner baths with very, very high pressure.

First, these are probably not bad people but they have limited experience and natural talent for some services they market. Upon arrival and inspection of mud room shower, off of kitchen, Jeff advised that there was no access panel and that our kitchen cabinetry on one wall would have to be removed, an access cut through the wall to access back of shower. Delayed that move by sending Jeff and male assistant to upstairs bath for inspection. Meanwhile, we personally looked inside the kitchen cabinet which backs the shower plumbing wall to find a clearly visible and huge access panel available by emptying cabinet and removing shelves (easy). The most I can say in their defense is that it was dark in the cabinet but they do carry flashlights.Jeff then advised that upstairs he would have to saw through the true, solid wood panelled wall to access THAT shower. We refused and explained that the board could be removed once the top/bottom trim removed. We had to direct/half perform the operation. Once inside, Jeff wanted to replace our Moen and Kohler shower controls with Delta products instead of repairing ours as he's familiar with them and says they're cheap. We ended up purchasing the necessary parts and repairing ourselves. Jeff was completely stymied by installing the icemaker - had never even seen one - which is narrower than a cabinet section in our kitchen. Eventually he cut out a whole cabinet front, cobbled a hole through the adjacent cabinet's left and right walls to run the plug cord out under an outlet box, then smash the cord with the cover and plug into the outlet. Did not even see the hard wire instructions in the installer's very detailed info provided with the appliance. This permanently blocks one needed kitchen outlet . Jeff cut a hole through bottom of cabinet and subfloor to crawl space, stuck the unit's drain line, which was too short and needed an extension anyway, through a rough opening, tearing it in the process and left this draining into our crawl space rather than tap it into the drain line immediately beneath the installation. He did not level appliance and did not properly cut out for it's size. It is scratched from being slid under the cabinet's rough cut edge. No sandpaper here. This too short, and damaged drain line allowed water to leak under the ice maker and kitchen sink area behind the toe kick board, under the cabinet floor above the subfloor of the room. The hard wiring connections for the dishwasher and insinkerator are in that space and both eventually were in enough water to trip GFI then finally blow the circuit breaker when both were wet and in use, resulting in discovery of the problem. Overall assessment, considering that our neighbor had a simple plumbing line repair done with no problems: If an exposed pipe breaks and it's the only emergency help you can get, the risk may balance out. If you DO call them in, supervise every step of the way. If you have anything other than Delta fixtures, very basic and standard appliances, and there is nothing high end or unusual about your construction - DON'T CALL THEM. Our experience was that they were too hurried to carefully inspect the construction surround, they were too set in their ways to see anything other than what they'd experienced before as even possible, they were not creative, careful or code competent at construction and they did not complete the ice maker installation - we did, along with the plumbing repairs. At that we were STILL handed an additional $100 invoice but no adjustments or assistance when we called back about the problems. We did pay all bills, but after listening to the sermonizing about treating customers in a Christian way, we do not feel that the actions supported the words. It has cost us twice as much to repair the damage and complete the ice maker installation properly as it cost us to let them cause the damage. Note that my date of service may be incorrect; such files are archived annually.

As I said previously, we were having waterline leaks from our house to the main meter on the lawn. After talking with Jeff about our situation, he then said he and his crew would come and dig up the line and see what was going on. They said that they would be there the next day ,which was Monday. They were there early in the morning and proceeded to dig the line up. He said that we could repair the line ,but his suggestion was to replace it. We then decided to replace it, and have had no problems since. I just loved there crews friendliness and there promptness. Also he did not charge a cent as it was for the church parsonage. If ever the Lord leads us someone else I want to take them with us. My hubby and I would highly recomend them .

Jeff did the water line when I needed it done. He was there quick so it kept my water bill from going up more from the leak. Jesse & Dustin replaced my hot water heater. Jeff and his crew are very hard workers and when they start on a job they will stick with it until it is finished. I don't believe I've ever seen very many people work as hard as they do or like they do. They have been my plumbers since they started their business and I plan on calling them for every plumbing and remodeling job I have.

I recently called Jeff and Jenny's Plumbing and Contracting to schedule a semi-remodeling job.The technicians arrived around noon to begin on the bathroom work. They stayed until around 7:00 pm. They were very hard workers and made sure that I had water and that all my fixtures and toilet was working before they left. They came back the next day to finish the ceramic tile and did an excellent job. The technicians were very respectful, and took very little breaks. I fully trust Jeff and Jenny’s employees and their work. They did a fantastic job and would absolutely recommend them to any and everyone who needs plumbing and contracting work done. CONGRATULATIONS to Jeff, Jenny and all their Employees; once again a Job Well Done!!

Contractor was hired to clean-out a bathroom sink and tub drain, along with mounting a tub spout. Contractor cleaned-out sink drain and mounted spout, but ran into problems with the tub drain. He worked for over an hour and informed my son the drain was plugged beyond repair. He then asked that we contact another plumber and proceeded to write a bill for the entire job even though he did not complete the work and he was working under a flat rate model. My son paid him before I arrived home and upon contacting him I received a lot of sarcasm and lack of concern for his charges and work that was not completed. I hired a second plumber the following day and he completed the work within 45 minutes and guess what the drain was cleaned and returned to service in a professional manor. I would not hire this contractor again and would suggest anyone who considers doing so to be very weary.

Response from Jeff & Jenny's Plumbing & Contracting
After receiving a phone call from the member, we advised him our charge of $79.95 for a service call, which does not include any additional work we would do. We scheduled the job for the following day, since he said it was not an emergency. He said he would not be home and would be leaving a signed check with his son (who was under 18). He did not ask us to call with a price before we did the work, or we would have given him the price first. He just told us to do whatever we needed. He said he had a clog in the bathroom sink and tub; and he needed a line repaired going from the shower to the tub spout. The sink was unclogged with no problem. We repaired the line going to the tub spout and the tub spout, However, after working on the tub drain for over an hour, we could not get the tub unclogged. The members recently had their bathroom remodeled and ceremic tile laid. The contractors had somehow let the grout get into the drain, which hardens like cement. We advised the son that, because of this problem, we might need to cut the floor, which was on a concrete slab, and replace part of the pipe. We could not do anything else to the the tub drain without his parents approval. The parents could not be reached so we wrote the bill for $225.00, which was only for the work we had completed. We told the son to have the member call and would explain the situation, then if he wanted us to come back we would do the work without charging another service call. The member called that evening and was very angry. He complained about the price and wanted to know why the tub drain was still clogged. Jeff explained everything that needed to be done and told him he could not do a major job like that without his approval. The member got mad and said he was going to call another plumber and have it done right. The next day he called back and said another plumber had unclogged the drain and charged him $95.00. and he wanted $95.00 refunded. Jenny said she would gladly refund the money, if he faxed or sent a copy of the receipt showing how much he paid and what all was done. He failed to send anything but proceeded to file a report with the BBB. After we received the report from the BBB, we sent him a check for $95.00, although we never received proof that the work was done by another plumber. Our goal is to make our customers happy. Our technicians, phone personnel, and owners are polite and courteous to our customers. We are honest, reliable, and friendly to our customers. We strive for perfection and excellence. We've been in business since 1995 and 99% of our customers are completely satisfied with our work. As with any company, there will always be the 1% you can't make happy, no matter what you do.
