"We are a father and son owned company. We focus on our customers satisfaction. We keep a full transparency outlook with our customers. Providing experience, knowledge, and custom options tailored to suit the needs of each and everyone of our customers on every project . We save our customers money compared to our competitors. We carry a 2 year workmanship warranty on all of our contracts. Here at WHAS Renovations, we have your back not just during your job but for years to come in the future. We offer professional service at fair prices. Only offering top quality craftsmanship and professionalism. All of our trade craftsman are back round checked and verified to work in your home.

"I do not recommend this company?run in the opposite direction! My experience with WHAS was an absolute nightmare from start to (not even) finish. Robert, one of the owners, provided a quote and assured me the job would be completed in two days. Instead, I dealt with multiple delays, unprofessionalism, and subpar workmanship. His subcontractors arrived without tools, and Robert himself showed up hours late. He made decisions without consulting me, replacing my original trim with unfinished, raw 3/4 round and using cheap aluminum transition pieces instead of wood. He even attempted to "fix" a damaged threshold with a literal 2x4?leaving visible gaps! The job was rushed, sloppy, and incomplete. The flooring wasn?t glued down, corners were left with gaps, and the basement stairs were barely secured. After countless delays and excuses, Robert disappeared without finishing the work. I am now paying another contractor to redo what WHAS should have done right the first time. Save yourself the frustration?hire a professional instead! "

Construction company and consulting engineering firm for residential, industrial, commercial, institutional, and retail clients.

"Had Betts Structural Engineering come and look at the foundation of a house we were in contract on. Josh came out and was professional and informative. He informed us the foundation was failing and explained what needed to be done. He throughly explained everything and told us how we could do it ourselves for much cheaper than a contractor could do it. In the end he saved us from a long and expensive process if we proceeded with the house."

Floor repair services FAQs

The cost of flooring installation is $3,000 for the average homeowner. This cost can range from $1,500 to $4,500, depending on the project size, flooring material, and any special features. For example, if stairs need new flooring, you can expect to pay about $11 to $160 per step. Additionally, hardwood flooring costs significantly more than linoleum, with hardwood ranging from $6 to $22 per square foot and linoleum costing $3 to $7 per square foot.

You should aim to hire a professional floor cleaner once or twice per year to remove any set-in stains, resolve scratches, and make your floors look shiny and new again. If you have a bustling household with many children, pets, or severe allergies, having your floors cleaned four times per year is worth the investment to maintain the integrity of your flooring. Don’t forget to prioritize cleaning your floors yourself in between professional cleanings, too.

When it comes to flooring installers, licensing laws vary from state to state. Even if your state doesn’t require your flooring installer to have a license, your municipality or city might, so it’s a good idea to check with your town before getting started. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local general contractor guidelines.

Hiring an unlicensed flooring installer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.

There are a few tips to keep your floors clean to help keep them looking sparkling until your next professional visit. Sweeping and vacuuming regularly will help reduce the dirt, debris, and pet hair from accumulating.

Placing doormats at every entrance will help keep some of the dirt outside, helping to minimize the dirt that ends up on your floors. In addition, using the correct stain-removing methods for your floor type will help properly remove them without damaging your floors.
