He was very attentive & polite when he inpsected the windows. He was to email me a quote. I have left 2 voicemail messages and 2 emails with absolutely no response! He hasn't even had the courtesy to call and say he's not quoting. He just hasn't responded. This was a company Angie's List actually suggested for restoration of steel framed casement windows when I asked for help so I am doubly disappointed. I had looked up window restoration and all I found were replacements. I have no where to turn now and feel quite stressed.
Description of Work: He was to provide quote to restore/repair my home's windows.

He was very, very professional and quick. He only charged me $75, which is the price that he said he would charge. There were no unwelcome surprises.
Description of Work: He fixed a really broken window, as well as several others.

Well it started well? then yikes! Somebody please help me! My wife and I liked the salesman Igor a lot. He came through and told us what the process was, that all the work would be done on-site and that even though we would not get the tax credit restoration with him and his company was the way to go. On 6/22 we gave him a 1/3 deposit ($3,581) and a signed contract. He told us the glass would be ordered and in by about the end of the first week of August and that the job should be done by the end of August. August came and went and Igor was very hard to get a hold of and never gave us very good answers as to why our job was not being started. We have not heard from Igor in a couple of weeks when we heard from ?Jim? the installer. He said he would be out Friday 9/3 or Tuesday 9/7 to start removing windows. We asked him to have Igor call us because we were told everything was going to be done on site. Igor called on 9/1 (that was the LAST TIME he has called us) and told us that no, the work was not going to be done on site now but at his shop where the work could be done much more precisely. We had Jim come out on 9/7. On Tuesday 9/7 Jim removed three windows and boarded them up telling me he would be back in five days. I said so I will see you Saturday? He said no, 5 work days he would be back on Tuesday 9/14 around the same time to put the three windows in and take three more out and that is how it would go (On that schedule it would take at least another 4-6 weeks to get my windows done!). Well Tuesday 9/14 comes around, no installer at 8 am? I call the salesman igor (he doesn?t pick up and his voice mail system says it can?t take messages. Uh oh! I call the installer Jim, he says yea I was going to call you after 8AM to tell you we are not coming we don?t have your glass and don?t know when it is coming in. I say fine, I am very disappointed with this project and would like to talk to the salesman Igor but he doesn?t pick up anymore and his voice mail won?t take messages so can you have him call me right away? That was Tuesday 9/14 at around 8AM? It?s Wednesday 10:45. No installer, No salesman, no phone call no nothing? I have three boarded up Windows holes, I don?t have my original windows to put back in and I?m out almost $3,600 Has anyone else been through this? Now what do I do?
Description of Work: Was supposed to be removal of almost every window in the house with work done "on-site" to disasemble, remove old glass put in new glass and some carpentry work
