Morry the Handyman

Morry found the cause and did a very thorough job in repairing it. A plastic washer was defective. He also installed a new appliance. Not a big job but I like his attention to detail. I would certainly recommend him for all "handyman" jobs.

Morry arrived on time and went right to work and performed all the repairs we asked. The major portion was installing the disposal which also involved rewiring, repairing and rerouting many electrical connections. This involved moving the dishwasher, etc. and was very difficult and time consuming. This entire process took almost 2 days. Morry was absolutely terrific. The many problems he encountered along with working late show his dedication to making the customer happy. Its rare anymore to find someone who takes such pride in his work and Morry has our highest recommendation.

Morry was very polite, professional and understanding. My tenants opted not to have the work performed, but I would definitely contact him again for his handyman services.

Great! Morry called me in response to an e-mail I sent to him. He set up a time to come to the house and when he knew he was running a few minutes late, called to let me know. He examined the tub area and we discussed what I had noticed and what he was able to see. He then set to work removing the caulk and grout and replacing each. He consulted me at various points in his work to let me know what was happening. He cleaned up when he was finished and instructed me as to what I needed to do once the materials were completely dry and the tub ready to be used.

Morry was prompt in returning my call. He showed up when he said he would, did the work efficiently and left no mess.

The work was done when promised, the estimates were accurate and there were no issues during the work or with any cleanup or other post completion tasks.

Tremendously nice and obliging. Very reliable. Methodical. Bookshelf assembly superb. Outside electrical working nicely but required a return visit to fix minor problems, he did this without complaint and was very obliging.

I thought my toilet might have a leak of some kind because I found water on the floor near the base of the toilet. He tightened the tank nuts so I will keep an eye on it and see if that turns out to be the problem. It also may have been caused by excessive condensation, as this half-bath does not have its own heat vent, and with the extreme cold we've had, the room might have been colder than normal. In cleaning out the bathroom sink drain, he showed me how he could disconnect a piece on the sink stopper so that I could remove it to clean it myself, so I wouldn't have to have it snaked as often. This is a helpful tip that he wasn't under any obligation to show me. He also worked magic on a storm window that would not stay up, fixing that in about 5 mins. He was in my home two hours and worked very fast, moving from one task to the other without wasting any time. He ran 10 mins. over on the 2nd hour but did not charge me anything additional (since he charges for labor by the hour).

He is an excellent worker and performs all tasks in a very efficient and knowledgeable manner. I will highly recommend him to my friends and family. I thank Angie's List for providing me with his name.

When I called Morry for a quote, his answering machine said he was out of town. He called me when the machine said he would return. We set up a date and time. He arrived when he said (actually early) and completed the list of 10 repairs we had. My wife was home, and she said he was very neat and a gentleman. I will call Morry for ALL of my repair work.

Morry was out of town when I called him. He returned the call when his message said he would be home. He showed up a few minutes early and finished the list of 10 items quickly and at a very reasonable price.

Maury was good at working us in. He explained what he did professionally, and he was sensitive to time. I felt though that the bottom line price was too high, the $185 seemed excessive. In my mind before he arrived, I thought the price would be near to around $100. So I was disappointed with the price when the work was over. There was some conversation that went on, and I guess that was more time. And he was billing for time so that made the bill considerably higher because of some conversation perhaps. So I wouldnt do that in the future. I would not recommend that people have conversation with him.

Very good work, fast, and thorough. Very pleasant to work with, good at keeping appointment and staying in touch about appointment.

As has happened with Morry in the past, we played a little phone tag, but he is persistent in returning calls. He was available about a week from the time I called and we agreed on a Sunday afternoon. He called to say he would be a little late in arriving. On arriving, plowed through the list quickly and carefully. Was here fairly late, so I offered him a sandwich so he could stay and finish up. He knocked a little off the bill - more I'm sure than the turkey sandwich I gave him. Charges were: service call $39; 3.5 hr labor $227.50; parts and supplies $23.

He came out on a Sunday morning, as my wife and I both work, so the weekends are the only time we can have someone over to work on our house. He is always extremely professional, and our new faucet looks great. He was perfect, except he's a little expensive. But I guess you get what you pay for in this case.

They never returned any of my calls.

Morry was on-time and very professional. He offered much input on where/how to hang my art work. He's quite congenial.

Morry was quick to return my initial call. He explained his rates and philosophy. Although he estimated it would take 1-2 weeks, he was able to squeeze in my small job in under a week. He is quick and professional. He took the time to explain why the bill was slightly higher than it might normally be, due to problems he encountered. I appreciated the proactive approach, so I was not surprised by a higher bill.

We had some problems with an outside lamp from a previous company. Very proactive and thoughtful guy. He noticed things that may become problems in the future.

I was impressed by the reports on this company, but Morry was quite booked up. When we finally scheduled an appointment, he showed up late and told me he didn't have time to do the work.

He was very prompt, courteous, and followed through on his times and when he said he'd be there, as well as when he'd complete the job. Very nice to work with.

Wow..this was a wonderful experience. Morry is the ultimate professional. He shows up on time, explains what he's going to do, performs the work with expertise and even cleans up. Morry showed up on time. When I originally sent him an email to come to do the work, he called me back the next morning. Prompt and professional. I appreciated the work that he did for me.

He was very professional. I felt very comfortable with Morry. He definitely knows what he is doing.

WILL REMEMBER ALWAYS HOW MUCH I PAID JUST TO DRILL 4 HOLES & BOLTS FOR A BASKETBALL HOOP.

He was slow and pricey. I don't think I would use him again.
