MEDER FLOORS

Mr. Meder did not start the project in a timely manner. Once he started the project it went very well. Very professional looking. The plumber he chose to install did not wrap the piping near the outside wall, so the pipes now freeze in cold weather. We have made Mr. Meder aware of the problem. He says it is not his problem. We have talked with the plumber, and need to resolve the issue,which now seems to be putting insulation between the outside wall and the tile wall. I have contacted an insulation person from Angie's List, who will be coming out to assess the situation. I would expect the plumber needs to pay the cost of insulating the wall. Bob Meder did a wonderful job retiling our bathroom which included the installation of a tiled shower and floor pan. Bob had to first demolish all the previous work that had been done by our first contractor who, after 3 months of shoddy work, agreed to give us back all of our money. Bob not only did the demo work, but he also rebuilt the shower surround and shower pan. He and his crew were very courteous and worked with our families schedule in the mornings during school rush hour. They cleaned up every night and were careful to avoid tracking dirt and debris through our house. Bob completed our job in only 3 weeks where the previous contractor took close to 3 months. Bob would have taken even less time if not for the Thanksgiving holiday in between. My wife and I are happy with the workmanship and quality of the work. Bob was thorough at the end of each day and made sure we answered his questions relating to different choices. For example, how would we want the tile to wrap around the corners and so on. Bob also handled the order with the tile distributor once my wife had picked out the tile. My wife and I will never hire another contractor again without first checking with Angie's list.

This company came out and did a good job for me. They came out on time, were on task, and did a good clean up job when they were done. The tile work looks great, and the workers were very personable and nice.

The job went well. Bob kept the mess to a minimum. He was on time both days. He was friendly and very professional. The job looks very nice.

VERY PERSONABLE AND EASY TO WORK WITH.

I PRIMARILY DO ALL HOME IMPROVEMENT MYSELF, SO HIRING A CONTRACTOR IS DIFFICULT. BOB MEDER WAS RECOMMENDED BY ANOTHER ANGIE''S LIST CONTRACTOR WHERE THE DESCRIPTION USED WAS: BOB TAKES SO MUCH PRIDE IN HIS WORK THAT IT MAKES YOU A LITTLE CRAZY AT THE LEVEL OF DETAIL HE GETS INTO WITH HIS JOBS! HE ONLY DOES IT THE RIGHT WAY AND YOU''LL NEVER MEET A MORE HONEST MAN. THEY WERE RIGHT! BOB IS A GREAT GUY AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB! HE UNDERSTOOD WAS I WAS LOOKING FOR (I OWN AN OLD LAKEWOOD HOUSE), AND ANYTHING I ASKED HIM TO CHANGE, FIX, ETC. HE DID WITH A SMILE. HE EVEN USED HIS CONTACTS TO GET A MARBLE PIECE VERY INEXPENSIVE FOR MY FAMILY. HE SHOWED UP EVERY DAY, CALLED AND UPDATED ON THE PROGRESS, CLEANED THE WORK AREA AND HOUSE, WAS CONSIDERATE OF MY FAMILY AND CATS, AND DID SUCH A GREAT JOB THAT WE CONTINUE TO GET COMMENTS FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY! I WOULD USE BOB MEDER FOR ALL OF MY JOBS! I CAN''T SAY ENOUGH!

I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. VERY HELPFUL IN SUGGESTING THE APPROPRIATE REPAIR EFFORTS NEEDED. RATES ARE $40/HOUR FOR NEW WORK AND $60/HOUR FOR REPAIRS.

HE WAS EARLY EVERYDAY AND CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES TO GET SPECIFIC DETAILS ON THE JOB. DOES INCREDIBLE WORK AND IS VERY DEPENDABLE. THERE WERE A LOT OF OBSTACLES HE HAD TO OVERCOME IN THE JOB AND IT TURNED OUT PERFECT. I'VE USED HIM MANY TIMES AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO! HE IS GREAT! USE HIM!

TORE OUT ROTTED FLOORING AND REPLACED IT WITH NEW LINOLEUM. WE WERE NEVER INCONVENIENCED. HE WAS FAST AND THE FLOORING LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. HE WAS PROMPT AND CLEANED UP WELL.
