+ -1 moreThe job was done correctly and quickly. All clean up done after visit. My only issue was that the estimate was lower than what I ended up having to pay which is always disappointing. They responded quickly to my question on this, and said that the estimate did not include all the parts that they needed to do the job. Overall I think they are a great company and would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others. The 2 young men that did the job were terrific. Nice people, highly recommend.

+ 0 moreKilleen Plumbing sent two plumbers, Tom and Pat, to our home to "snake" out a kitchen drain. They were prompt and courteous, and put protective covers over their shoes when in my home. They ran the "snake" out 40' or so two times and verified that the slow-draining problem was solved. During the initial call, when I set up the appointment, the person on the telephone reminded me of an Angie's List coupon, which saved me 10%.

+ -1 moreThey called before they came and arrived when promised. The technician was very efficient and considerate. He even wore shoe covers to protect my floors. I showed him the work that had to be done and he went right to work. He shut off the main water supply, removed the old toilet, installed the new shut off valve and turned the water back on. Then he installed the new toilet . From start to finish it took a little over an hour. I was impressed with the work that was done and the manner in which the technician did the job. When he left, there was no mess to clean, he did it all. This is the only plumber I will call in the future and I found them on Angie's List.

He put a camera down the sanitary & storm sewer piping to make sure there were no blockages, etc. I told him that I was a first-time homeowner and was looking for this inspection just to make sure that I was clear underground on this slab home. He was very knowledgeable, and was willing to go out of his way to give me helpful advice in other areas as well of the house as well. I was very satisfied with his service, and would definitely consider using Killeen Plumbing again.

+ -1 moreCorey was very professional and took care of the issue in about 15 minutes. I asked him to take a look at an outside spigot that had been capped for years. He found the shut off, installed a faucet and now we finally have a water connection on the outside of the house again. All of this was accomplished in a little over an hour. I will definitely call them again.
Description of Work: Had to have sewer downspout capped and gutter downspout splashed out into the yard.

+ -1 moreRepresentative on the phone was kind and personable, an appointment was scheduled for the next day, they phoned that day to inform me that Randy was on his way, Randy was punctual, polite, professional, personable, and even offered tips for non-plumbing related issues we were dealing with. Randy explained his initial suspicions as well as his findings, got the jobs done in a timely manner, and was just as personable as could be. Will definitely be using Killeen again.
Description of Work: Repaired a sink with a base that was leaking large amounts of water, repaired a toilet that was leaking internally, and fixed a faucet drip.

+ 0 moreKilleen plumbing arrived on time and did everything they could to clear the drains but due to the tremendous amount of roots they were unable to do so after 2 hours of trying. They set up a second appointment within 2 days to finish the job with a much stronger snake rather than keep trying and racking up the hourly costs with an ineffective machine. At the second appointment, they worked for 3 more hours with a more powerful snake and finally cleared the roots. Very professional, very friendly, very very good at their jobs.

+ 0 moreI was impressed with the companies effort to accommodate me on short notice and stick to their quoted price. I also was impressed with the service technician's knowledge and the complete job experience.
Description of Work: I called Killeen Plumbing on Friday to see if I could get same day service on a kitchen drain backup. The receptionist checked with the dispatcher and assured me they could handle my request. I gave my information to the dispatcher and she advised me it probably would be after 3:00 P.M. She also pointed out that it is difficult to pinpoint a time because the service techs never know what they are going to find at each service call. She did offer an advance call notification of approx. 30 minutes in case I had to go out. i thanked her and waited for her call or that serviceman's call. It was a little after 3:00 P.M. So I thought I should follow up with a call to the dispatcher. She told me that we were on the list and would call 30 minutes before the tech arrived. The tech called about 30 minutes before he arrived at 5:30 P.M. The tech went right to work and had the drain cleared in a timely manner. He found the blockage and also another trouble spot further out from the initial stoppage. He was friendly but very professional. before he left he demonstrated that the drain was running by continuously running water at full blast in the previously blocked sink drain.

+ 0 moreKilleen was on time and Tom and Pat were very friendly and professional. They removed a gas line from an old gas fireplace that had been installed by the home's previous owners, leveled a laundry room sink and replaced leaky supply lines. They also replaced a supply line to the toilet, and connected the washer. We didn't have all the parts to connect the dryer, and they were out of parts, but they explained how to connect the dryer with the right part and didn't try to charge us for extra work or come back to do something that we were able to complete ourselves. The work was done within an hour. Would recommend to anyone, and will use again.
Description of Work: Removed a gas line, fixed a leaky laundry room supply lines, hooked up washer.

+ -1 moreOur house is 20+ years old and still had the original builders grade toilets in it. One wouldn't flush and the other was dripping from the tank. We chose Killeen because they had awesome reviews on Angie's List and they also gave us the best quote. They arrived on-time and explained how and what they were going to do and then immediately went to work. They replaced all 3 toilets, seats, seals, valves, and supply lines in our house. They were very neat and organized and had all 3 toilets replaced in about 2 hours. They took all the packaging and boxes that came with the new toilets and even took the old toilets with them. They even re caulked along our shower and bathtub floor for us in both bathrooms. They did a great job and would not hesitate to hire them again the next time I need a plumber.

+ 0 moreI set up the initial appointment with Killeen Plumbing - Friday between 4-6 - they were a no show/no call. They called approx. 20 mins. later and said they missed the appt. because they were busy. I set up another appt. for them to come out, which I had to take off work for. Outcomes: Killeen Plumbing incorrectly diagnosed the problem & wanted to install a part in my upstairs shower, even though I had no hot water throughout the house. I declined the work they recommended. Killeen Plumbing made no attempt to fix the hot water heater that they installed. The heating element in the hot water tank was eventually replaced, under warranty by another plumber & is working perfectly now. Killeen Plumbing's customer service is horrible and the gatekeepers would not let me speak to owner when I asked to. I will not use Killeen Plumbing again.
Description of Work: Problem: hot water tank not putting out enough hot water. Tank was installed 3 yrs. ago by Killeen Plumbing, still under warranty.

+ 0 moreReceived a call 30 minutes prior to arrival well within the window they gave on the phone. Two plumbers worked our water leak issue to find the source, which was not a pipe at all. They worked quickly and professionally and covered their shoes when they were in the house so our carpets and floors stayed clean. They also took care of what we thought were a couple of small jobs (slow toilet and slow fridge water line). The water line turned out to be a bigger job as the original installer hooked it up to the hot water instead of cold. Overall another very good experience. We've used them before and will definitely use them again.
