We called their office at around 315pm and spoke with Julie who said that she would have a crew get in touch with us within several hours. Pleasantly, we received a call back from Julie approximately 15 min. later telling us that a crew was available and on their way to our home. About a half hour after our initial call, Tom and Tony arrived at our home; gave us a prompt estimate and got to work. They spent about hour replacing our 2yr old sump pump with a new one. So far so good; we are very pleased with their work; we appreciated their professionalism and knowledge in answering all our questions/concerns. We would definitely recommend Killeen Plumbing/and specifically Tom and Tony.

We noticed water at the base of the basement bathroom toilet...we thought it was the wax ring gone bad and called Killeen Plumbing. The gal in the office was her usual pleasant profession best and we set a date for the following Tuesday. Patrick arrived on time and checked the toilet and found the seal between the tank and bowl was bad. He did not have a poroper replacement and no supplier in the area had any in stock but he was able to order the part. It arrived the next day and Patrick again responded and replaced the bad seal. Patrick was very knowledgeable and a true profession...besides he's a dog lover. Patrick was very neat in his work and clean up. Kileen Plumbers always put booties on over their work shoes to keep the floor neat and clean. The two days that Patrick was here was only one hour of labor plus the cost of the parts. Patrick was very personable and easy to talk to. He said he has been with Killeen for over two years and was happy working there. He said It is a good company to work for and made going to work a pleasure. There was no problem using a 10% Angie's List Coupon. Again we were saved by Kileen Plumbing. The two gentleman arrived on time and worked independently to get the tasks done. Both were courteous and very thorough explaining the details of the work involved to me. The actual bill came in under the estimate and when I presented my coupon from Angies's List my bill was reduced by the coupon amount. I will definitely use Killeen again and refer them to friends! I had to postpone my appointment time and they were happy to accommodate me at a later date.

We have used Killeen Plumbing on two separate occasions (most recently today) - to address clogged bathroom and kitchen drains. Both times they responded very quickly, completed the jobs promptly and professionally and charged affordably for their services. We were worried about the cost of calling a plumber but were so pleasantly surprised with the affordability and excellence of Killeen's service - we will never hesitate to call them again! We'll be recommending them to all our friends and neighbors (already have posted a glowing recommendation on our Facebook account). We are so glad to have found them on Angie's List!

They were very honest and clear on what needed to be done. They were phenomenal. The person that came out was outstanding. Everything about them was phenomenal. The people in the office were also very knowledgeable.

On the morning after the work, our showers were luke warm, that was when I discovered that the plumber forgot to re-ignite the water heater, so I had to go re-ignite the water heater myself.

I had been advised that my sump pump was corroded and needed to be replaced. I've been fortunate to have never had water in my basement, and wanted to ensure that protection would continue. I called Killeen Plumbing, and, as is consistently the case, I was able to get the appointment to replace my sump pump easily and quickly. The replacement went very smoothly. I chose a replacement sump pump of at least equal quality to the original. The plumber (sorry, I forgot his name!) was personable, professional, and helpful. The sump pump was installed quickly, and tested to ensure all was working well. I believe it was a good price for the solid quality and value - and I have peace of mind that my basement will continue to stay dry with the replacement sump pump I continue to use Killeen for any plumbing needs, and have been satisfied with their service, expertise, and professionalism.

We had a great experience with Killeen. From the nice and professional admins to the great people they sent out to fix our problems. We had a couple of other plumbers come in to give us a quote and it was 3-4x the cost Killeen quoted us. They fixed our problems quickly and explained what was wrong in plain english. The guys that came out were great. They have definitely become our go-to plumbers.

On October 28, 2013, through the course of the day, my nearly new first floor toilet became increasingly sluggish in emptying when flushed. Previously there was no indication of any problem except for an infrequent but occasional need to use the plunger (an adolescent daughter sometimes uses more paper than necessary). On this day, pressing the flush handle would result in the bowl filling normally, but not emptying normally. The more frequently the toilet was flushed, the more slowly the bowel would empty. As the problem progressed, solid waste would require two or more flushings, with a wait between each one, to empty the bowel. I used the plunger but it didn't help this time. All of the other drains in the house functioned normally and the basement drains were not backing up, so I assumed that the drain from the toilet only must be partially blocked. I don't have any way to deal with that so I called Killeen plumbing. I explained the problem, just as I did above, to the woman who answered the phone. Killeen sent out a man that same day. I explained the problem to him in the same way that I have here. I showed him to the bathroom and watched as he confirmed that the problem was as I described. I then left him to his task. After more than an hour the man informed me that he had come unprepared to fix the problem and that a return visit on another day by a different person would be required. He said that they would have to call the city to come out and identify the main line cleanout points so that they (Killeen) could return and snake the main drain line. I was skeptical of that course of action since all the other drains in the house were functioning properly. That would not be the case with the main line plugged. So, I told him that calling the city would not be necessary and that I would call my insurance company to find out how to proceed. The man left with my toilet problem unresolved. Later that week Killeen called to set up a return appointment informing me that the cleanout points had been identified. I repeated to the woman who called that that would not be necessary since my insurance company was taking care of the problem. Indeed they did. They sent out a man who cleaned out the toilet drain in less than an hour and the toilet bowel now empties as it should. On November 15, 2013 I received a bill from Killeen plumbing for $96. The bill states the following "... 1st floor 1/2 bath toilet: Not flushing, replaced fill valve not putting enough water into bowel. Flushed toilet would only go down slow. Flushed many times and ran sink. Found a stack in basement. Water coming up out of floor through cement where it meets stack." The labor charge for this service was $78 the bill also shows the installation of a Fluidmaster fill valve for $12 and a toilet supply for $6. Their claim that the fill valve was not putting enough water into the bowel is dubious because the bowel is filling to the same level as it did before the valve was replaced. Even worse, now I sometimes have to jiggle the handle to get the toilet to stop running. That was never necessary before their visit. Their replacement of the nearly new toilet supply was also untrustworthy. It was not leaking, and even if the nearly new supply was not not functioning properly (which it was) there was no need to shut off the supply for what he was doing. When I called Killeen to protest the bill, in view of the fact that not only had they come unprepared to fix the problem and failed to fix the problem, they introduced a new one, I was told that since I did not let them come back to complete the job, there would be no adjustment of the bill. It seems to me that if I had let them come back to snake the main drain, my bill would have been much higher, and my toilet bowel would still have not emptied properly.

On time, quick, friendly, and fair priced

Very professional. Responded to my call late Saturday and worked with me to make sure that it was safe until Monday. They gave me the option to wait to save some money. The plumbers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took extra care to protect our floors while they pulled out the old hot water tank. A+ service.

I had a very severe issue with the sanitary line going to the master bedroom of my house. After spending $$$ on a very well renown company just to clear a drain, I was very hesitant to call any plumbing company again. After watching $$$ clear a line that I later found out I could do by myself by renting a pipe snake from HD (then again engineering school wasn 't cheap for what it offered but I did learn), I vowed never to blindly call a plumber without some research. So of course I tried snaking the master bedroom first, since it had worked with the other line to no avail. Now what ? I tried several drain cleaners including essentially pure sulfuric acid which didn't work. Now I had to rely on a plumber with a inspection camera to figure out what the frick was going on. Additionally I needed line location services since my house is from the 50's and who knows where the lines went. So I visited Angie's List and did some research, to try to find people who were like minded, and who found a reasonable plumber who knew how to deal with people and provide an expertise above no other. So my first roll of the dice was lucky #7. This company rocks and if you don't call them to help with your plumbing issues, then your paying too much and get inferior service. On the first night, Eddie came out for 3 hours to help clean the line but was unable to. Luckily while he was cleaning, I was out in the yard listening for the snake and heard where it was in the yard. Booyah ! So I asked how much to dig up the yard and find the lines to figure out the issue. Of course it was expensive and I asked if I could rent a mini excavator to dig up the yard and have them come back out to try to troubleshoot the issue. The response was exactly what I was looking for. "Sure that is no problem, call us when you have the lines dug up and we will try again". Eddie responded, "You have to work with people ! ", and I instantly was sold. The bill Eddie gave me was more then reasonable for 3 hours of work from 4-7pm at night. Incredible is all I can say. Eddie told me to call Quinn when I had the lines uncovered, and he would help me. I uncovered the lines in short order and found the clean-outs to the lines buried under a foot of soil, how convenient of whatever knuckle past owner made that decision. So I called Quinn to come out and give it another try through the clean-out. I was hesitant to have anyone but Eddie come out and look at the issue but was I even more surprised. Quinn ended up being even 10x time more friendly and personable than Eddie. Have I ever found the right company through Angie's List. Quinn ended up spending 2 hours sending a camera down the line and trying to clear as much as he could to find out, the clay pipe had separated under the concrete slab of the house and was creating a lake. There it was, the camera exiting the pipe, my foundation block and the concrete slab. I asked Quinn, in trying to feel some comfort, that he has probably seen worst. He responded " Nope, this is pretty bad". What an honest man. Who could ask for more :) Of course the break was in the corner of the living room where I just installed new hardwood floors about 1 year prior. To make a long story short. I came to the conclusion it was cheaper for me to repair the line instead of claiming it on insurance or hiring a general contractor to install the line. Quinn located the line in short order and looked at me in confidence " You can repair that, right ?". Unfortunately I can, although I would rather not. So my final bill from Kellan Plumbing for at least 4-5 hours effort, $220 dollars. My cost to repair the broken line myself with excavator rental, $600. The cost to have a well known company, probably thousands if not 10's of thousands. Will I ever have anyone touch my plumbing other than myself ? Only Kellan Plumbing. Once again, Angie's List has paid for it self.

Office staff was prompt and courteous in returning calls and calling in advance when they would be out. Crew was knowledgable and friendly. Gave useful information on how to DIY problems if they should become an issue in the future. Very positive experience. Price was very competitive.

They are very good. They are extremely efficient, on time, do excellent work. They are very fair. They work consistently & are very reliable.

His attitude was Very professional and he seemed genuine when sharing his ideas as we walked around the project. This company seemed established and very focused on customer care.

I've called Killeen several times. I've always been able to schedule at a time that is convenient for me. They're prompt and professional. This last time they were out I had a long list of repairs to be made and they completed all of them within a few hours and didn't leave a mess behind. The price seemed a little high, but I anticipated that when calling them this second time and was willing to pay a little more for reliability and professionalism. I will definitely contact them again.

We love working with Killean. We also used them when we built an addition on the house for all the plumbing needs. They do excellent work and the cost is reasonable. They show up on time and work with us until the job is completed to our satisfaction.

He did a great job. Came same day we called. Cleared the drain in no time then checked for leaks under the sink. Found one and rebuilt the plumbing including putting in a sink basin drain. All in just over an hours time.

Was having the hardwood floor repaired in my new home in the kitchen from what we thought was old damage from past water damage. A current, slow leak was discovered behind the refrigerator that had to be repaired immediately before the flooring guys could continue their work. I called Killeen at 3PM and they had me scheduled for first thing the next morning! Nate arrived promptly the next morning, put shoe protectors on to respect my home, and got to work. He explained everything in a way I could understand, worked well with the building management, and coordinated a water shutoff with the building maintenance team. He fixed the leak and even fixed a loose knob on the bathtub! He was done in an hour and a half, and done before the flooring guys returned to continue their repairs. The timing, price, and professionalism was all perfect - I will definitely use Killeen Plumbing again!

Great, he was on time and explained everything he was going to do. After he started there were a couple of things that were unexpected and he planned exactly how to fix them.
