Description of Work: We have used Killeen plumbing 3 times. They were prompt and courteous. We were very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Killeen cleared a drain that was severely clogged due to tree roots. I had one of the name brand chain plumbing co. out earlier in the year for the same problem. They not only could not fix the problem but quoted me $2k to tear up the basement floor and replace the pipe. Killeen was as able to cut the roots and clear the line within an hour

Description of Work: I needed a new garbage disposal. They came out on time and put in a new one. Tom realized my old one wasn't wired correctly and gave me a referral to an electrician to correct the problems. They did a great job and I will definitely call them again and pass their name on to my friends. Thank you.

Description of Work: I'm a new home owner of a 1906 home so as you might guess old home, old pipes ... finding a good plumber is a must. I had one come to snake the drains and today I picked Killeen because of their excellent reviews. Although what I needed today was a minor matter (but yet one I needed help) I felt pleased by my interactions and today's visit and now Killeen's is the plumber I will call. I initially emailed my situation (non-urgent) and when I'd be available. The office staff called me right at that time and had an appointment for the next day (a Saturday) and they gave me a two-hour window and said they'd call before arriving. They did just that and Tom and Pat were very professional, nice and answered all my questions. I'd be glad to have them do work in the future. I know that this was an expensive visit for something that was minor however you have to remember that you are paying for a service call before any work is done -- that's a given regardless of the service provider. I think their prices are the going rate for the area so no complaints. When you have a home, especially an older home, it is important to have go-to tradespeople that you can trust to go good work. Glad to add Killeen's to my list.

Description of Work: We needed to have a gas line installed in the kitchen for a gas stove. Killeen Plumbing sent a plumber over the day before we actually scheduled the gas line installation to see if they would need any special equipment for the job. The plumbers actually offered to do the job that day, because it was a simple job. But, they came back the next day to install the line and hook up the sotve. The job was very quick and the gentlemen who came over were very professional. I would happily recommend Killeen Plumbing to anyone I know who needs plumbing work.

Description of Work: Two separate appointments. The first was to provide and install two new toilets. THey recommended the most cost effective brand, installed the toilets and everything works great. THey even fix another small issue with the kitchen sink drain at no cost. The second visit was to install new main water line shutoffs after the water department installed a new shut off outside. We have recommended Killen to friends and family.

Description of Work: my bathtub was plugged all week-end, it was bringing up black sludge. We tried everything to try to fix it but to no avail.I called Killeen Plumbing Monday morning and the service men came out Monday afternoon. They were very nice and made me feel like my problem was not going to be a major project. They talked to me about pricing, although the woman from the office had already talked to me about pricing when I called for an appointment. They explained to me what they were going to do and it only took minutes to fix. They were even concerned about the black sludge in my tub, worried that it would not come out and proceeded with their gloved hands, to clean my bathtub. They were wonderful.

Description of Work: I used this company twice, within about a week between appointments. Once to find out why my toilet kept backing up. they were great, ended up having to take the whole think apart to find a sucker stick! Next was at my rental property to snake an outside drain. they came in 90 degree weather and I felt horrible, but they stayed and did a great job, and didn't charge an arm and a leg either time. I have been bitten by plumbers in the past with "extra" and "emergency" charges. This company is upfront, very very professional and the men who came out were such a pleasure to work with. I am recommending them to all my friends and now have a great company I can trust for all my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I tried to replace the innards of a toilet. It was so old, the plastic; it had crumbled. I called Killeen and they set up an appointment. The called 20 minutes before they were scheduled to let me know they were on their way. They showed up on time, were very polite, cleaned up after themselves. I dreaded calling a plumber but this was painless. They even used as much of my own replacement parts they could. I will most certainly use the again.

Description of Work: I have used Killeen Plumbing before. I originally found them on Angie's List. I can not tell you how responsive and helpful this company has been. I was getting water in my basement which occurred every time it rained. Everyone I told about the problem said I needed waterproofing which I could not afford. With all the rain we have had this year, I figured they were right. Finally my son said , "Why don't you call a plumber first?" So I called Killeen. John came out and checked my entire drainage system from the house to the street. It was a cold day but he opened manhole covers and snaked 3 drains. When he opend the access in the driveway, the water level was very high. He cleared debri and roots and hooray, the water started flowing. He used cameras in every drain to make sure they were clear. It was very cold but he worked for 2 hours until everything was running. He explained that this was a big part of my problem but he couldn't be sure it was the whole problem. We have had 3 big rains since and my basement is once again dry as a bone. Thanks to Killeen, I saved thousands of dollars and I am thrilled. I should also mention that this past summer, my hot water heater finally quit. I had a service contract with Sears which turned out to be worthless. I called Killeen and they came out immediately with a new hot water heater and worked until 1 a.m. in gueling heat to make sure I had hot water for the next day when I was expecting out of town company with an infant. I will never use anyone else but Killeen for plumbing.

Description of Work: Killeen Plumbing was one of the most knowledgeable, professional, and courteous services I have ever used. They were able to come over the day after my call and offered to come the same day if it was an emergency. They handled all the warranty replacement of my broken hot water tank and told me about a way to prevent future leaks that only cost about $30 worth of parts, compared to cleaning up about 60 gallons of water again! The price was fair and the service was honest. I honestly couldn't have been happier with their service!

Description of Work: During a very rainy period we had no gutters on our home due to installation of new siding and gutters. The siding job dragged on for ages and I believe it was 3 weeks with no gutters. Well, our sump failed due to all the water sitting around the house and it could not manage it after many very heavy rains. I was at work and got a text from our alarm company that the flood sensor in the basement had gone off I rushed home to find my basement was in the process of flooding. I went on to Angie's list to look up prospective plumbing companies and chose Killeen due to their ratings and they were close to our home. When speaking to the girl at Killeen who was very pleasant she said they were so very busy with all the calls due to flooding and asked if I was actively flooding. I told her it was indeed actively flooding and getting higher and higher. She had people out within 30 min and they did an excellent job. The only single bad point was the sump we had was a certain HP and they had been so busy with basement flooding and were out of our size sump, so we had to get one just a step up which was a bit more. The workman's rates were reduced a bit to make up for the fact they didn't have the sump we needed in terms of HP. Thank you Killeen!

Description of Work: Our hot water tank exploded. They came same day and came in right on budget. We also had an ongoing slow leak from an undetermined source. They took the time to examine and find where the water was coming from. They listened to me explain the details of the problem and made other suggestions based on what they had heard. I liked that they took the initiative to explain other work that could be done and seemed to be cost conscience in the explanation. I had them come back 2 days later and pretty much look and rework most of the water sources in the house.

Description of Work: They came out for an estimate within just a few days. They removed our old ceramic bath tub and the three tiled walls that surrounded it. They installed one of those tile/tub/shower ensembles. All of this was done in a single day. The workers were really nice and left no mess to clean up.
