Description of Work: We hires O'Leary Concrete to tear out our driveway and walk and redo them. My husband had looked and seen favorable reviews on this site. It isn't cheap to do a driveway that is concrete but his prices were in line with others. He and his crew came when they said they would. They started early every morning. They did some preliminary work over the weekend and finished tearing up our driveway one day and prepping it and pouring the concrete the next day. Kevin had a number of people working on our project. We had to pay him half the money the first day and the other half of the money the second day when he was done. We were pleased with the final result. Just be prepared for some inconvenience. We were able to walk on our driveway and walk the next day but a car couldn't go on it for two weeks and then for two more weeks a car wasn't allowed to sit on our driveway. for any period of time.

Description of Work: We were scheduled to have a 400 square foot patio installed in our back yard. I called Kevin to politely ask if he would be comfortable accepting the second half of the payment when the patio was usable 4-5 days after the job was complete. He immediately got really angry and said absolutely not, that's not how he does business. He was clearly upset that I had even asked the question. He said they stand behind their work but that if there was an issue with the materials (cement) I'd have to take it up with the supplier. He said to let me know if we weren't going to go forward so he could fill the spot on his calendar and then he hung up on me. He called back a few minutes later to tell me he didn't want the job because my husband had said something that offended him during the initial consultation and that I was trying to change the terms of the contract after I had signed it. He was very agitated and angry. I am happy to know before moving forward with the work that he cares so little for his clients that he can't even politely decline a terms request. He is completely lacking in professional courtesy.

Description of Work: O'Leary Concrete was contracted to pressure wash and seal our concrete patio, driveway, and porch. The crew that performed the job were polite and worked diligently to complete the work. I feel that they did very good work. The pressure wash and sealant rejuvenated the surfaces, and I am happy with the results. I would recommend O'Leary Concrete to others that require this service.

Description of Work: Cleaned and sealed concrete driveway. Made some minor repairs as well. Had to return a few times due to rain delays, but got the work done as quickly as reasonable.

Description of Work: The owner called us back & informed us that what we needed was not worth his while. He also sarcastically added, AT LEAST he called us back. When my husband asked him if he was really a business owner, he hung up on him. Very unprofessional and rude.

Description of Work: Upon our initial contact the owner asked for an approximate size and despcription of the job to be done. When I told him he basically said it wouldn't be worth his time to bid the work. He stated something to the effect of "If a job isn't going to cost more than $5000 - it isn't worth my time to even look at it." I am of the opinion the owner could benefit from a refresher course in customer relations.

Description of Work: We asked for an estimate on a driveway replacement. They basically said we lived too far away. I guess they aren't hurting for business. Maybe they should say they only serve the Batavia area - not the Cincinnati area. We only live about 30-40 minutes away.

Description of Work: O'leary Concrete was punctual and transparent with all communications and information regarding my driveway request for quote. We have decided to pursue other projects but we will certainly call O'Leary in when we are ready.

Description of Work: Asked for a bid to replace 5 cement outside stairs and was told by Kevin O'Leary that they are booked til mid December and their minimum is $3,500 no matter what the job. This minimum should be posted so others know that small jobs will cost more.

Description of Work: Kevin gave me a big story about how if I wanted to have them do my project then he would give me a start date but that I really needed to honor it because they had a strict schedule to stick to. Fast forward a month or so from signing a contract and getting on their books, Kevin calls me and says they have to push my job a month or two because his father was retiring in the middle if summer! I was really annoyed. I said that I would look for another company and if I couldn't find anyone to do it sooner then I would still go with O'Leary. I ended up finding someone and when I gave Kevin a courtesy call to say that I found someone else, I never heard from him again. In my opinion, he's gotten too big for his britches, can barely handle the business he has and has no problem screwing up other people's schedules.
