The company was very prompt in giving us an estimate. Once the work was scheduled, they arrived when they said they would and took care to make sure their equipment did not tear up our yard. O'Leary completed the project on time and in a quality manner. We would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone looking to have similar concrete work done.

Everything went great, Kevin and the concrete crew came on a Thursday and graded out the area and formed things up, on Friday morning the concrete was poured and everything was finished up around noon . The new slab looks great, it looks so good that I plan on having them do my entire driveway next year.... Kevin and his crew were great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done !

I have nothing but good things to say about Kevin and O'Leary concrete. The work was done on time and with beautiful craftmanship. The workers work very courteous and Kevin was there from start to finish. I received the quote promptly and it was very competitive. We did get delayed a bit by the early spring rains but Kevin was good at keeping us informed of planned start date etc. With a project this expensive confidence in the contractor is very important. I would never have anyone else do concrete work for me. Thanks Kevin for the great experience!

From the first call, our experience with Kevin was excellent. He promptly responded to all phone calls and e-mails, always showed up when promised and performed the work as contracted. His employees were polite and kept the job site clean. We are very happy with the final results. The project was started and finished in just over two days. Having owned homes for nearly 20 years and dealt with numerous contractors, I will say that O'Leary Concrete is one of the best we ever hired. Lastly, in spite of a year with record rainfall, our work was completed ahead of schedule.

Last year I had them to replace some steps.I was so pleased I had them to place the driveway this year.the frist day they removed the old drive being very careful not to hit a roof drian going under the drive.The next day they poured.From start to end they were asking if ever think was being done like I wanted.I am very pleased with the work that was done.

Driveway cleaning and sealing done in 1/2 day. It took a while to schedule due to some weather problems but work done as promised, no surprises, worker was professional/polite and cleaned up well. The driveway looks good. Would use them again

Contacted O'Leary Concrete (Kevin) 4 months in advance of of the date that he delivered his services. It took 4 months for him to get to my job due to his backlog - which is obviously a good sign that he has plenty of work. During that period, Kevin kept me informed on his schedule and the anticipated time that he would get to me. His communication was good. I gave him a rough idea of what we was looking for and he helped us identify and create exactly what we wanted. The 3 days that the O'Leary team was on site went very smoothly - again delivering on everything that he said he would. Work was done exactly as I had hoped and is beautiful. Both Kevin and his entire team were very professional and friendly. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and putting everything back in order. We were very pleased with every aspect of the experience and the quality of work. After a week, I called Kevin with a minor concern. He and a member of his crew were out the next day and immediately addressed the concern to my satisfaction. The whole experience with O'Leary concrete was very good, and I would highly recommend them for any patio or driveway work.

Kevin is one of the most punctual and responsive contractors we have ever dealt with. If he says he'll be there at 10:00, 10:00 it is! He and his crew are very professional, curtious and a pleasure to work with. They worked with us to design a unique shape for our patio that we totally love. Kevin stands behind his work and pledges to make anything that isn't to your complete satisfaction totally right. I don't believe we would consider anyone else to do future concrete work for us!

Kevin O'Leary and his 3 crew members arrived early and stayed late until the job was done. I've never seen such a dedicated, professional and hardworking group of people in my life. Kevin, the owner of the company, worked right alongside his men every step of the way, which assured me that he was right there to direct and attend to all the details. This job was really difficult, and Kevin really did listen to what I needed. I live on the downside of a hill and drainage has been a big problem, especially since a previous driveway, patio and walkway job about 10 years ago. I was getting a lot of water coming into my basement and the dehumidifier runs on high 24/7. Water comes at me from three different directions, so when Kevin designed the driveway (previously gravel and pavers) he included trench drains and (and this is so hard to describe, but SO impressive) installed the concrete with the appropriate pitch in different spots to direct the water to the drains. Kevin and Joe very professionally laid out the forms, those iron bars and chalk lines very professionally, using a level every step of the way. Kevin kept me apprised all along the way, showing me how each part was pitched. True professionals and artists! The driveway sits a couple feet above the walkway and patio, so again they carefully set the forms and chalk lines and installed another trench drain at the foot of the steps from the driveway that lead to the front door and drains in the flower beds on either sides to catch any water still able to come down off the flower beds along the driveway. The previous job had replaced a stone patio with pavers surrounded by those decorative rocks installed much too low. So when it rained, water from the hill hit the poorly pitched upper driveway area and the other side of the hill and my back patio was frequently a swimming pool. They installed a new decorative stamped concrete patio with another appropriately placed trench drain (which will catch water coming off the hill and any other water that gets by the trench drain right above the steps leading to the patio). And again the forms were carefully set and chalk lines skillfully set to ensure the patio would be pitched correctly. They even made a little cut out for my gas grill connection--attention to detail! And my particular favorite was the new steps installed coming down from the driveway to the patio. I had built the retaining wall and the steps I made were too narrow and awkward. Kevin opened up the area and now I have open, comfortable, curved steps made with the decorative stamped concrete coming down to the patio. They are a thing of beauty! All this prep work was a huge part of the job. Then, the last day, they repaired the unsightly swale along the road with concrete, correctly pitched away from my house to encourage all the water that drains towards my house off the road to continue on down the hill. Not only was this a very technical job, it was especially difficult because there was no easy access to get the concrete truck near the walkway and patio and part of the driveway. They ended up having to cross the street with loaded wheelbarrows, down a ramp from the road to pour the patio and walkway. The color for the concrete and the contrast color I chose from the patio and walkways looks very stone-like, which fits in with my stone retaining walks. It looks fantastic! Words just fail me when I try to describe how well the job turned out and my admiration for Kevin O'Leary and his crew. I grade them A plus, plus! I cannot recommend them more highly. This was one of those rare occasions when you are glad to pay for such a good job and in this case I feel like I got more than I paid for. Good job, Kevin!

Overall Impression O'Leary Concrete did a fantastic job! Everything they did was professional: 1. I had a written bid 2. I was given a photo of what the stamping would look like, which removed my apperance concerns. 3. I was kept informed of the timetable, work performed and completion date. 4. The job started on time. 5. The job ended on time. 6 .Payment was exact to the bid. 7. The worksite was cleaned up. I was very pleased with O'Leary Concrete .... and I tend to be a little picky. They exceeded all of my expectations. The owner, Kevin O'Leary ,was great to work with and on-site during the project: He was honest, professional and sincerely concerned about the apperance of my house and how it would improve its value. The workers were friendly. When the project was completed they left a very clean worksite. The O'Leary Concrete bid was not the lowest. But I know that I got more than my monies worth. I am very satisfied with my decision. I would recommend O'Leary Concrete to anyone with the utmost confidence. Follow Up One of my neighbors saw the quality of work and had her driveway done by O'Leary two weeks later. She was also VERY happy.

The job went very well overall. The owner of the company walked through the project and he was detailed and oriented. He was here to make sure that the job is complete on time in the right way. He offered some suggestions for some decorative concrete. He did a great job. I would use him again in the future too.

I emailed Mr. O'leary with pictures of the 4 nine foot front porch steps we wanted to replace. He called the next day to set a time for the following week to collect information for a quote. He arrived on time and took measurements. He recommended leaving the old steps in place and pouring over them and extending them out about one foot further and wider. This would require the sidewalk landing to be reworked as the new steps would extend too far over the walk. I agreed to the pour over and Mr. O'leary said he would reply with a fair quote in 5 to 6 days. The next day I took my own measurements and decided the pour over method, although structurally sound, would not look good in this case and it would be obvious the old steps were poured over. I emailed Mr. O'leary to quote for removing the steps and replacing them as close as possible to the original dimensions. He called the following week with a quote of $5500 to replace the steps. I have some experience with concrete work and concrete contractors and found this quote to be incredibly high for this work. For comparison, $5500 is the price of a small to medium size driveway replacement. I would have had more respect for this company if they had said they didn't want to do the work. For this reason I would not re-use or recommend this company to others. UPDATE - Mr. O'leary called and asked me to re-consider my report as it may be costing him business. I asked and he agreed that my report was accurate and he said the price was $5500 because of possible porch damage that may result from using a jack-hammer so close to the porch's old concrete block foundation. The block foundation is in good shape and there are other methods to remove concrete without nearby damage so we still disagree on the price being fair. Mr. O'leary is friendly and personable so his grades were improved on those points but I don't want to pay for damage that "might" happen because of inadequate care. To Mr. O'leary - I've made this report as fair and honest as I can and I promise you this- when I get this work completed and any of your predictions come true I will update this report and give your company a grade of A on all points.

EVERYTHING about the job, from my initial conversations with Kevin and his willingness to meet (and exceed) my picky requirements, to the final details at completion exceeded ALL my expectations -- and based on the other reviews here, they were pretty high to start with. As a general contractor and designer, I've worked with a lot of different contractors over the years, here and in several other states, and O'Leary Concrete is right up there in my own personal Hall of Fame. Kevin may be young compared to his competitors, but he is not inexperienced and he has a gift for running his business well and making good decisions that benefit his customers, his employees, and himself. In my experience, that's a rare combination. Kevin and his crew were prompt, careful, very skilled, and were true craftsmen about their work. The job was scheduled to begin during one of the wettest months in local history, but Kevin was very conscientious, keeping me posted about his schedule. The terrace is enclosed on all sides by either the house wall or a 2-foot, natural stone wall. So the first step was masking the whole area to protect existing surfaces from concrete splash. The second challenge was drainage -- as the concrete was poured, the entire surface had to be pitched properly (yet inconspicuously) so that the water was channeled to the single drainage scupper in the wall. And now, after a week of torrential downpours, I can attest to the fact that they met that challenge beautifully! Once the pouring and stamping of the concrete began, it all went beautifully. Today the final color was applied and the results are truly fabulous. So if you are considering decorative concrete work, go ahead, do your homework, talk to Kevin O'Leary and a few other contractors (as I did), and then call Kevin back and have him to do the work!

I would love for anyone to stop and see our project! Our house looks amazing. Kevin is a dream to work with and does exactly what he says he will do. The team always cleaned up at the end of the day and was polite and professional I would highly recommend O'Leary concrete to anyone interested in quality imaginative work.

Kevin and his team tore out our front steps (just had them done by someone else last summer, and they were already wrecked) and poured new ones. They did a terrific job! Our neighbor is so impressed that he's considering having his steps done by Kevin too. The crew was prompt and professional. They did a quality job for much less than our original crap job. Highly recommend.

Kevin and his crew were prompt each time they came to my residence. Kevin explained exactly what they would do to complete the job. After I asked him about other concrete designs, he explained several other options, but didn't pressure me, or try to convince me to go with decorative options (at a higher cost). Kevin's crew were very polite and friendly, and Kevin was right there doing some of the work. So far, I'm VERY pleased with their work! I will need my driveway replaced within the next couple years, and I hope to call Kevin to have them complete the job.

Working with Kevin went very well once again. In June, he had installed a stamped concrete cap on a retaining wall between our driveway and the neighbors driveway. This work was done shortly before replacing the neighbors driveway. In Oct. 2010 we had him come back to replace our driveway. Work started on Monday, Tuesday it rained, work was completed on Wednesday. Kevin stayed in contact to let us know how the weather would effect the job schedule. Everyone who works for Kevin has been exceptionally polite and helpful. Kevin has always been right on time and has done exactly what he said he would do. If we had questions or concerns he answered them calmly and completely. It was very clear that he was interested in making us happy with the job that had been done while at the same time doing the job correctly. O'Leary's left the job clean and ready for grass seed around the edges of the driveway. If only every contractor was as pleasant to work with as Kevin! In all, Kevin has replaced driveways at four homes on our block since June. I've not heard anything but positive comments about their experiences with Kevin.

They did everything they could do to please the customer. Their prices are fair. They are very proficient and courtesy. They were very nice people and easy to work. They were very conscientious.

Kevin and his crew arrived promptly on Monday morning and removed the entire driveway and sidewalk. They did this quickly and efficiently. They also installed forms on the first day, staying until they finished. The men were hard workers and Kevin also assisted and oversaw what they were doing. On the second day the entire driveway and sidewalk were poured. Again, Kevin's crew worked hard, making sure that everything was done correctly. They even had to contend with acorns falling from our tree over the driveway, which was a challenge but handled well so that no acorn marks were left there. On the third day the forms were removed. Kevin came for a final inspection. We were pleased with the entire project from start to finish.

Great. Everything was done on time and on budget as promised. They removed the old patio, regraded the area and filled in with stone/gravel to create a firm foundation. Then they poured a new patio and step, and stamped it to give it a stone look.

The work was scheduled a month in advance to begin on Monday, September 27 and take a week. The men began before dawn as scheduled each morning and worked hard each day throughout the week, first clearing and forming, laying iron reinforcement rods, pouring, stamping, coloring, sealing. They put plywood down on the lawn for moving equipment to haul away the old and pour fresh concrete. Finishing, stamping and coloring was a fascinating process and turned out beautifully. The work was scheduled for a week, but lost a rain day made up on Saturday and they finished sealing and cleaning up the next Monday. It was a big and expensive project for us but the results were well worth what we paid. We're more than satisfied, especially with the professionalism and craftsmanship. I'd recommend Kevin O'Leary's company for similar projects without any reservation.
