Kevin was early for the meeting to discuss the job and actually convinced us to do less work than we planned as it was unecessary. We agreed to the workscope and he called two days ahead of the work date to confirm. His crew was on time, cleaned up and the work looks great. Kevin came by that day to discuss curing and driveway use. The group is timely, reasonably priced and does good work. We'd hire the company again.

Performed work as needed and asked. The best thing about Kevin Oleary is that he will tell a customer "no" or..."maybe you shouldn't do that". I generally hate contractors. What I mean is most services will just give you numbers. Some of them can be quite high. Some will show up. Some won't. But most won't communicate with the customer. But Kevin would listen to what you are asking, and give advice. He also would advise if what you are wanting done is in your best interest. i.e. will it last. He could easily have done what I was "thinking" I needed and charged us more money. But he communicated with us and informed us of the ramifications good and bad. He then laid out "better" options for us that would be less expensive and hold up better over the long-term. In short, he's the concrete guy. Not us. He probably saved us a lot of money by doing the job correctly to begin with. And some of the neighbors wanted to know who sealed our driveway and how they could hire them. When hiring any specialists in which you are not an expert, if the SME doesn't keep you from making a mistake, what good is that? Kevin made us fell like he was working in all of our bests interests. Highly recommended.

He was very good, very professional. He was on time. It is out of season, but he still came and gave me the quote. He also followed up with me to see if I had any questions - which was great.

My husband and I wanted to have our backyard basketball court removed. I researched several companies that came out to give me estimates. Kevin's company was overall the best choice for us. He was quick to respond to my call, came out to my house right away to assess the project, very professional, and gave me a reasonable estimate. The gentlemen had everything completed in a timely manner and without killing my grass. Everything was neat and cleaned up. The one and only downfall is that we had to wait a couple of months for them to fit us in, but we were not in a hurry. They did get the job completed before the time frame he had given me. We love the service of O'Leary Concrete and we would use them again for any other projects.

Overall it went very well. Kevin and his team were respectful of my neighbor's property and sprinkler heads. They laid plywood to allow the Bobcat and concrete buggy to get to our back yard without tearing up our lawn. On a Tues they took out the old patio slab. On Wed they had the enlarged patio ready to be poured. I saw they were careful with the framing. They helped us with metal mesh to prevent critters from digging under, a problem we've had earlier this year. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday the pouring happened on Friday. The pouring went well, I was impressed with the attention to details. They came early on Sunday to antique and seal the patio. Cleanup was good, they even raked our grass where the plywood was laid.

Kevin was very punctual in providing estimate. He stopped by and explained how they would handle the job, and provided a timeline. He provided some information on the curing time and precautions to take during the initial few weeks of curing. He provided local reference who invited us to inspect their driveway and affirmed the good reports that we had read in Angies list. After the initial quote, Kevin followed up to see if there were any further questions and we iterated on a couple of details. His backlog was about 8 weeks and they hit their date within a couple of days. meeting our expectations. As the date approached Kevin touched base and kept us informed of the status. We never were left wondering. The job took 2 days, as advertised. The crew was courteous and hard working. They did a decent cleanup job. We are pleased with the aesthetics of the new driveway. The detail on the edges is very nice and gives it a dressy look. They did a nice job matching the level on some adjoining hardscaping and of the garage floor. They showed how the grade would ensure good drainage away from the house. We would definitely hire O'Leary for another job.

Kevin was prompt and courteous and his estimates fair. We had the cleaning and sealing done on this date and they did a great job. Kevin was there to get the job rolling and made sure that the cleaning was going to take care of a particular spot on our driveway that had rust stains. We definitely recommend him and his company.

Kevin was the only contractor of three that came out to look at the project that was up for and enthusiastic to take on the challenge. He and his crew pulled it off perfectly. Great job, guys.

He was very professional and personable. He explained everything and did everything like he said he would do. He did a really great job and we are very satisfied with the work.

Kevin was very responsive and communicated well through all aspects of the job, from quoting to design selection to excavation through completion of the work. They worked quickly and with as little impact on our daily lives as possible, considering all of the doors in and out of our house had new concrete poured outside of them. They worked with me to get some new storm drain lines run from the corner of the house and under the new carport. Truth be told, they did most of the work. These guys don't spend any time standing around. The result is beautiful. We couldn't be happier with the way the stamped patio looks. The new front porch area is now sloped to prevent any standing water and with the way the back patio turned out if we had it do over we would probably have the front porch stamped as well.

It looks absolutely beautiful! We have dealt with many home improvement professionals over the years and Kevin O'Leary is definitely one of the best. He is knowledgeable, explains the process thoroughly, is prompt at returning messages and is reasonably priced. We were completely comfortable with him from start to finish. The only downside - we had to wait several months to get the work done because he is so booked. However, it was definitely worth the wait. We would absolutely use him again.

Kevin is a professional in what he does and it shows. When we couldn't fit my project in towards the end of the summer, we scheduled for spring at the top of his list for the next year. Once a date was set, he was able to hold to that and arrived promptly each morning to accomplish the job. He is on-site for the duration and there to address any concerns and make sure that things are done right throughout. I designed my project's overall layout and the crew was able to hold to the plan and produce a nice result. Looks great, and as promised small cars now clear the bottom of the hill without scraping.

The overall experience with Kevin and his team was outstanding. Kevin is extremely responsive to any inquiry and is dedicated to customer satisfaction. We were asking him to use a product originally used by the builder of our home with which Kevin was unfamiliar. He was hesitant at first fearing that we would not be satisfied with the results. After assuring him that given his rating on Angie's List we had full confidence in his ability to do the job, he agreed. The result is wonderful. We have received compliments from everyone who sees the area treated from delivery men, friends and neighbors. Kevin and his team showed up exactly when they said they would and answered any questions I had and checked with us throughout the process to make sure we were happy with how the project was progressing. It was a pleasure working with Kevin and we will definitely do so again. It is unusual to find someone who is so focused on the customers satisfaction.

Kevin went out of his way to make sure that we had all of the information we requested before he started the project. He was very patient with us when we were trying to determine the color of concrete that we wanted for our front walkway. He provided us with the addresses of previous work areas he had completed so that we could see his work before signing a contract. We are very satisfied with his work and have recommended him to many of our friends!

I had three quotes done all by companies found on the A list from Angie's list. Kevin's pricing was a bit below the other two, he was far more personable, honest and knowledgeable then the others. He was prompt from day one quoting the work and his crew continued that trend each day. I was given a verbal quote that day and was then emailed that quote along with a contract within 24 hours. When it came time for our job to start they were worth the wait! Kevin and his crew were always on time, always had everything they needed ready, always made sure I was informed and comfortable with how the process was going. The entire crew was wonderful to work with from day one. What we thought would turn out to be a great job turned out to be an Amazing one!!! We are So happy!!! As an interior designer who has worked in the field with contractors of all sorts and having multiple issues at work and home that's what brought us to Angies List. I've never worked with a contractor and team like Kevin and his crew before. We would recommend that to anyone and we will use them again. Crew arrived on time and got to work - finished job by mid afternoon. Crew left with lunch litter in yard - poured excess concrete onto grass which hardened. I did not catch the imperfect corner where the sidewalk meets the driveway until they were gone and I went out to view the job - I did not call them back to address this.

WARNING! If you have residential concrete needs and fail to contact Kevin O?Leary, you have just made a significant mistake! Kevin?s reputation for quality work and customer satisfaction may be unparalleled in the greater Cincinnati area. My experience with Kevin, from the time that we first met until his last truck pulled away from our home, was truly outstanding. One-hundred percent of everything that was promised and/or agreed upon was ?delivered? in A+ fashion. I appreciated Kevin?s honest, straight-forward approach to every aspect of our project. His communication with me, prior to and throughout the time that he and his crew were on-site, was excellent! One thing that you can be sure of is that Kevin will be working and supervising at the job-site from start to finish. Kevin's crew was not only highly skilled but also demonstrated an outstanding work ethic. Additionally, they were very cooperative and polite regarding questions/requests posed by the home owner. Because our thirty-year old garage floor had sunk, getting enough driveway ?fall? from the house to the street presented a significant challenge. Kevin and his crew were able to resolve this issue in a manner that positively addressed both the functionality and the appearance of the driveway. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our new driveway, sidewalk and deck pad. I give O?Leary Concrete high praise and recommend them without reservation.

Kevin is a pleasure to work with. The job looks terrific and he and his crew were super professional and hard working. Kevin's communication was outstanding from the first phone call to the original estimate to the confirmation to the job itself -- and he did absolutely everything he said he would do, on time and on budget. He explained to me that he has intentionally kept his company small so that he can be on-site and lead every job -- and that is how he can ensure top notch quality every time. He doesn't sub-contract and he doesn't just send a crew. I was really impressed with his commitment and work ethic and would hire him again without hesitation.

Kevin was extremely professional from our beginning contact to the completed project. He was prompt, professional and completed the project exactly as he proposed. His communication from the initial contact until the project was completed was excellent. Kevin and his crew worked well as a team and they were very efficient. The entire job was completed in two days, just as Kevin said it would be. We are extremely happy with the work that he did and we would highly recommend him. It was a joy to work with him and the work he did for us was outstanding.

I tend to rate providers conservatively. A few issues arose during the process 1. O'Leary does not use a contract and wants to be paid when the job is done. Typcially I wouldn't have an issue but before the job was "done" I was pressured for full payment. If I would have known I would have been pressured I would have insisted on a contract. 2. O'Leary left trash around my backyard and I ended up picking up after them. 3. the excavation work led to the clay underneath moving to the top and the topsoil is now underneath the clay. I now have to bring in another layer of topsoil to grow grass. 4. O'Leary used a blacktop patch that looked awful. I think it diminished their final product. Time will tell if the basketball pad was worth the hassle.

Very good crew, professional and considerate (will even help you get into a locked house if you happen to lock yourself out). Cleanup was good. Very satisfied with the results.

I contacted Kevin about an estimate and he was punctual when he came to my house. He was very personable and was very direct and honest about the project and made suggestions about the design. I received the bid quickly which was middle of the road compared to the several bids I received. Based upon his price and especially his Angie's list rating, I decided to use O'Leary Concrete. The job was scheduled for about 6 weeks later. As we got closer, Kevin set up an appointment to firm up the design and was punctual once again. The job began 2 days after the target date due to rain delays on other jobs and he communicated this to me. Kevin and his crew arrived about 7:00 in the morning to begin the prep work. His crew worked like a well oiled machine and worked very efficiently. I stayed on the job site the entire time to watch the work being done. All of his crew seemed to enjoy their work and I enjoyed talking with all of them about the job as well as joking with them. While the atmosphere was always "light", Kevin was a task master and made sure all of the details were covered. A "buggy" was used to bring in gravel (and subsequently the concrete) and boards were placed over the grass to avoid tearing up the yard. Kevin would always ask me if everything looked ok and I always responded yes. The pouring was delayed a day because of the threat of rain. The next day, the crew arrived at 6:15 a.m. and taped up plastic to make sure no concrete got on the house. The concrete truck arrived shortly after and once again everybody operated efficiently and seemed to know exactly what to do with little direction. Kevin would always double and triple check to make sure the concrete was at the right level. I was amazed at how quickly everything went. I asked a lot of questions along the way and I was very impressed with their expertise. Kevin is a stickler for details and uses proven techniques and uses quality tools and materials to get the job done. The pour, stamping, coloring and detail work was all done somewhere around noon. The only break they took was when they had to let the concrete set a bit before they could finish the steps. Once the job was finished, everything cleaned up and they even went as far to rake the grass where it had been matted done which was a very nice touch. The next day, one crew member arrived early once again and finished cleaning, antiquing, and sealing the patio by about 11:30 a.m. It looks awesome! Kevin helped us pick the colors and they are a wonderful match with our house. It has a perfect slope as could be verified by the water running off and not pooling anywhere. Kevin is a true professional and it was obvious he wanted me to be pleased and indeed I was. I would not hesitate to recommend his company to anyone.

I called O'Leary concrete in the spring of this year because of their reputation and seeing examples of their work.Kevin, the owner, returned all my calls,arrived when he said he would, gave a verbal quote and followed quickly with a written one.They were booked until August and Kevin called a few days prior to let us know when and what time they would arrive. They, meaning his entire crew, show up to work, are pleasant, answer any questions.They removed and hauled away all the material from the items listed above and replaced my driveway, put in a beautiful front porch,huge patio both are stamped and colored and a concrete fireplace carved and colored to imitate cut stone. Friends, neighbors and people off the street stop to look. Their work is outstanding from the start to finish. If you're looking for a better concrete contractor good luck.
