From our first interaction Joe was very informative, responsive, and focused on my needs for replacing an awning. He discussed in detail the pros and cons to the different styles of awnings to help me make a well educated decision. As he is located quite far from my home, we had communicated by email and Joe was very accommodating in sending pictures and his website is helpful in providing excellent examples of his work and capabilities. He had earned my trust in his prompt responsiveness to my inquiry and his detailed explanations of what the flat pan awning that we had chosen would provide for us. He addressed every question and concern that I had asked with in depth answers and examples. Joe was easy to communicate with and kept every promise he made. Once the deposit was placed for the work, he contacted me as soon as the awning arrived and he set an appointment for the following week (weather permitting). Everything went just as planned and very smooth; just as promised. Installation only took a few hours and Joe and his assistant were on their way to the next job. I would highly recommend D & J Home Improvement, at least for awnings, and am confident that he would provide excellent products and services within his expertise.
