Don from D & P Plumbing arrived promptly (actually a little early). He was very professional. He came to replace the flush valve in my hall bathroom. He double checked to make sure the replacement valve he brought was correct when he had doubts. When he found out it was correct he removed the hall bathroom toilet tank and replaced the flush valve in a very timely manner. He then checked the leaky faucet in my basement, found a piece of foreign matter under the seal and corrected the leak. I asked him to check my eleven year old water heater (he did not ask me) and he showed me where there was rust and water inside. I have been concerned about it breaking down for quite some time since it was only guaranteed for six years. He put no pressure on me to get a new one but I asked for a price and got a very good quote. I am having him install a new water heater next week. I was very impressed with Don. He is a master plumber and I felt totally at ease with him and confident in his abilities. My first experience with Angie's List could not have been better.

I used Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau internet site for the Cincinnati area, to find a reputable plumbing company, and I liked what I read about this business. Don, the owner of the business, and a licensed plumber, was both personable and knowledgeable about all things plumbing. He did not mind my 'help' (I watched and asked questions), and he explained some of the details about why and how he accomplished each task. Upon finishing the work, he expressed dissatisfaction with one minor aspect of the sump pump installation which would not have gotten my attention. Although everything looked very sturdy when the pump was running, Don felt that the length of pipe running from the pump, up the side of the basement wall, to the outside drainage, would vibrate enough over the years that it might fail. He did not have the hardware to affix the pipe to the cement wall, with him, but agreed to return to finish the job at my convenience. He stated, but did not have to (it was quite obvious), that he hated not being able to finish the job he had started. Don called me a few days later to see when he might complete the work. We were in Alaska on a 2 week vacation, so I told him I'd contact him when I returned. I did so, and Don returned to complete the final five minute task. I will not hesitate to use D&P Plumbing in the future, and to recommend that business to anyone wanting quality plumbing work done.

The issue was resolved properly and on time. I am a little confused about how the payment was calculated since it seemed like the charge was a lot more than expected considering that I had used a discount coupon. In any case, the service was rendered properly.

Determined I would not need a new disposal that my current one was fine, but the blades needed to be cleared. He also looked at two other faucets and showed me where the problems were, he suggested new faucets since the current ones are very old, worn, and would cost a lot to repair. I will have them do the faucet replacement work.

Don was on time. He was professional and pleasant. I was very impressed by how hard he worked and by the fact that he didn't waste any time. He had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs to the basement, but it didn't faze him and he got the work done in no time. He stuck to the quoted price, which saved us a significant amount of money compared to the two other quotes I got from other plumbers before having the work done. I would hire this plumber again for sure!

Everything was fine but since I paid $125 for two hours of labor on an Angie's Discount, I expected some sort of discount.on the labor to put in the hot water heater. He gave me a $125 credit off the final bill but no 2 to 1 discount on the labor which is what I bought.

I'm so glad I found D and P Plumbing on Angie's List. I'd never had experience working with a plumber before so when I saw the excellent ratings for D and P Plumbing, I was happy contact them. Each communication received a response in less than 24 hours--most were same day. I requested an estimate and Don offered to look at photos so he could be as accurate as possible. He even allowed me to take advantage of his $125.00 for two hours of labor deal even though I didn't live in one of the participating counties. Don arrived on time and quickly assessed the work that needed to be done. He explained the solutions and discussed a few options available to install a water line for my refrigerator. After a brief trip to the local hardware store for a few parts he got right to work. Don worked efficiently and left all areas fully restored and clean. His demeanor was courteous and professional in every way. I will definitely contact D and P Plumbing if I am in need of this service again. I would highly recommend this company.

Don arrived on time, and called 1/2 hr before arriving as he indicated he would. He did the work efficiently, and cleaned up after himself.

Don returned my call and set a time to do the work,showed up on time and repaired the problem and gave me good advise on some upcoming projects.

The plumber contacted me promptly and kept in touch when I had questions. He was friendly and professional, and I would call this company with any future work needed.

Took three tries to get a contact. Once contacted found out that the $60 offer on Angie's List was just for assessing a problem and giving a bid for work --- did not include any actual repairs. So I bought the $129 offer for 2 hours of work. MY job ( I added on installing a shower head) did not take 30min. so I paid for and hour and a half that was not used. We also decided to have him order and install a backup sump pump. When he came to do that job, which was done when the sump pump came in - I thought we should get some credit for the labor cost we already overppaid from the previous visit, but that did not happen. Also the bathroom faucet which had the malfunctioning plug was loose and my husband ended up crawling under the sink to fix that himself afterward.

Don was absolutely wonderful. When I called, he told me how much to anticipate as a cost and it was accurate. He was quick to schedule the appointment and was very professional. He solved my plumbing issue and was very affordable. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him again!

Don did a job for me last month and as soon as I had a problem I was able to text him photos of the pipes that were giving me trouble. He immediately advised me and was able to be here the following morning. Just like last time, Don was early, professional, and very conscientious. He even identified a problem that would have developed into a leak in the near future, saving us a future emergency call. I cannot speak more highly of Don and the quality of his work, plus the ease of communication with him. He truly has the best interests of his customers in mind.

He showed up five minutes early, was polite and professional and most importantly knew what he was doing and fixed my entire list within the two hour timeframe that I purchased. This was a great deal! I purchased my own materials so he was able to just to complete the projects.

All went very well. Don was able to come out the same day I called. Unfortunately, my water heater could not be fixed and needed replaced. He came out the next day to install a new one. In addition, he added a pan and drain so in the future I would not have water in my basement in the event of a water heater failure. Overall, I was very pleased with the service. He also gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member!

All went well; couldn't be happier. Don was very professional, efficient, courteous and personable.

We had a drain pipe that leaked every time we ran anything in our upstairs bathrooms, including our only showers/bath tubs in the house. I left D&P Plumbing a message in the morning and by 9AM they called me and said they would try and work me in today. They were able to and were able to fix the problem in under an hour. They were fast, courteous, responsive and all around professional.

I had a leaky faucet in my basement. Prior to arrival, the plumber asked me to take a picture of the sink and message it to him so he could have possible replacement parts when he arrived. Plumber's name was Don. His email said he would arrive between 9 and 9:30am. He got there at 9:15. Don analyzed the problem, told me what it would cost to fix and fixed the problem. The whole process didn't take much over a half hour. Great experience!

D&P Plumbing was very professional and helpful. Saved me tons of money by going the extra mile. One example, I had a slow draining toilet. I have had two other plumbers come out and snake and plunge the toilet. It would work fine for a while, but after heavy use, it would slow drain again. I was told before D&P that I had to replace the toilet. I was willing to replace the toilet because of the holiday cookout we had planned. This was the main toilet for guest, so it was imperative I had this working by the 4th of July. Don from D&P told me to hold off purchasing a new toilet until he had a chance to look at it. He knew the sense of urgency I had a about getting the toilet working due to the holiday party in a few days, so he brought one as a backup, just-in-case. Don snaked the toilet, but it still was slow draining after several tests he performed. He then brought out the "camera" which allowed him to follow the "path" and it was then that he discovered the pencil in the toilet causing all of the issues. Using his "MacGyver" technique, Don was able to fish the pencil out. Yuck!...but thank you. D&P plumbing's technology, due diligence, and best interest of the customer saved me tons of money. Don could have easily took my "toilet replacement" request without question, and swapped out the toilet as any other plumber may have done. But going the extra mile really made a difference. There is another similar scenario with my kitchen faucet, where Don informed me that I had lifetime warranty with the manufacturer, and instead of spending another $400 to purchase a replacement faucet, to just have him "rebuild the faucet"...again saving tons of money. If you want to get the job done right by a professional plumber who is not looking to take your money, but to help solve your issue; one whom is prompt, professional, and personable...then D&P plumbing is your contractor. I am recommending him to all my family and friends.

I cannot say enough good things about Don. Setting up the appointment was easy using Angie's list and the phone for communication. I purchased a "big deal" for 2 hours of labor for $125 and had no difficulties purchasing or paying with the coupon. He arrived early and was extremely efficient and professional throughout. He offered advice when I asked general questions throughout. When installing the toilets, he was very cautious to look for leaks and he had to replace the supply line on one of the toilets so that it would reach. In my opinion, the replacement was better quality than the original part. He had to use a few other materials and he had them on his truck. He even had time to look at a shower that we didn't like due to low pressure and he was able to make adjustments. I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend him to anyone.

Bought 2 hours of plumbing services on Angie's list. I contacted Gentlemen on a Tuesday and explained I needed the work done on my mom's house and I was from out of town. I explained that I was going to be in town that Friday to see if he could do it that soon. He accommodated my needs. He showed up on time and was able to quickly get the work done. He was very courteous, professional, and explained everything to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend him. This was the first time I paid for a service ahead of time and was a little worried about paying before I had the work done. I was pleasantly surprised.
