Tim did a good job. He is not in a rush and makes you feel secure when working with him. He is busy but responsive.

Set up appt by phone, Tim was punctual, looked over work, instructed me on items he would need to make repairs and scheduled an appt to start work. Called to let me know he was running a few minutes late, completed inital work on bathroom and made other repairs. Set up 2 more appts to sand bathroom celing and then paint. Tim showed up when he said he would and completed the work. He was very nice, cleaned up after himself and I am pleased with his work. Would definitly use him again and recommend him to friends.

Excellent job. I've hired Tim Beatrice several times now and he always does an excellent job for a reasonable price. This time was no exception. Our deck looks fantastic.

I had a list of several home repair projects that I needed completed before the exterior of the house was scheduled for painting. Tim was very responsive and had the job done well in advance of the painting schedule. My most important (and time consuming) project was the repair of a leaking door frame on the screened porch. Tim identified the problem and crafted what we believe will be a solution for the future. During this effort, he had to remove the retractable screen door. When reinstalling it, Tim made the adjustments that corrected an open/close and locking problem - this saved me from having to schedule a service call with the screen door company. Tim repaired a downspout, installed a new outdoor motion light, and caulked a ceiling around some crown molding. Finally, some sections of my vinyl deck railing were sagging. Tim suggested that sectioning an extra vinyl post and using it as a brace under the bottom rail may correct the problem. The "jury is still out" on whether this will provide a long term solution but I am pleased to try a no-cost solution. Having never hired a handyman before, I was a bit reluctant when I did not receive a firm price on the effort. My fears were unfounded. Tim charged by the hour but never stopped working. He brought the receipts for any material he used and passed on those costs. I was very impressed by Tim's honesty and his commonsense, creative solutions.

All projects that Tim has completed for us have turned out great. He is very professional, punctual and dependable. Tim goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied with his work. I highly recommend him.

It did not go well. He charges by the hour, but really did not know much more than I do regarding how to install or repair things. Overall, we were very disappointed. He took several things apart only to find he could not figure out how to repair them and then put them back together. So we paid for a lot of "trial and error."

He did good work and was very prompt. He kept me informed of what was going on the entire time and was very easy to work with. Almost $100 seems extremely high for this simple task though.

Tim was very personable, and easy to talk to. He fixed the door into my garage, which had been stuck for several weeks. And, I appreciate that he offered alternative solutions to other issues, but would also take care of the problems if necessary. I will certainly contact him again for future problems.

I contacted Beatrice Home Improvement to do painting, re-grout a shower, repair some window sills, and repair a section of soffitt on my roof. Tim schedule to visit my home to see the work requested. He created a work plan and executed to that plan without modifications. Very efficient!

I needed the exterior trim work (brick molding and stool) replaced on two windows. I provided the brick molding. He provided the vinyl stool material. The only thing I would have had him do differently is to replace the entire length of the brick molding on each side of each window, instead of cutting and replacing just a portion. However, once I painted everything it looks superb!!

I find it difficult to have people working around the house that I do not know. The first time I met Tim Beatrice was for a walk thru to discuss the items I wanted fixed. I found right away that he was comfortable with his craft and with the way he respects the client. I felt quickly at ease. On the morning of the repair day, Tim was prompt and ready to work. He spent 5 hours at my house - busy the entire time. He replaced the sink pipes under the kitchen cabinet, discovered why the tub drain lever was not holding and fixed that, Tim repaired the grout in the tub/shower (which looks outstanding), installed a slider light switch in the kitchen, replaced a light fixture in the basement, found an uncovered wire inside a light switch box and capped that, hung 3 towel bars and a toilet paper holder. Tim cleaned up after himself and made sure that I received all the damaged parts and/or extra nuts, molly bolts, and things like that. He asked me to review his work and then we settled up the bill. I very please with having chosen Tim Beatrice and am happy to share him with anyone who needs a handyman.

Tim Beatrice is prompt and knowledgeable in his work. He removed the old tile around the tub down to the studs and replaced with cement board and retiled the walls. He removed the old tub and replaced it with a new one. Grouted and caulked where necessary. He removed the toilet to lay a new floor, resetting it afterwards. A wonderful job all around.

He did not leave until he was certain that the leak was really stopped. He was very thorough.

I called Tim yesterday when a saw a moist spot on my kitchen ceiling below the tub on the floor above. The tub caulk had deteriorated significantly and had been on my list to have fixed so I thought that was the problem. Tim was really booked up but I was concerned about letting this go longer and having a lot of ceiling damage. Tim offered to come out Friday evening to look it over and make sure there wasn't also a plumbing issue going on and caulk the tub. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! Caulking a tub should never become an emergency issue (that was my fault for letting it go so long) - and Tim was more than willing to squeeze me in and fix it to avoid more damage. He was polite, professional, warm, and friendly. Could not have asked for more. This a.m., after realizing the water damage are was more extensive than I had originally seen, I opened the plumbing access cabinet based on Tim's concern that it might not be just the caulking, and sure enough, the pipe to the faucet is leaking. I called our plumber who will come out today and fix the leak and the caulking, so I called Tim to let him know. (I think Tim also does plumbing, but we have a plumber, and we like to remain loyal to the people who have done good work for us. And we have plenty of non-plumbing work that we need done to make up for this job). A lot of contractors would have been miffed that they had taken time to speak to me and schedule a Friday night appointment and then I turned around and had someone else take care of it - not Tim!! He was VERY warm about it and glad that I had found the leak and was having it fixed right away. I am sure once the plumbing repair is done, we will need a drywall repair, and Tim is the man I will call. We have needed to find a handyman for some time, and we are very happy to have found Tim. We look forward to working with him on many future projects!

Things went great with this job. Tim Beatrice came out just when he said he would and looked at what we needed done. He charges an hourly rate so it was just a guess how long things would take. He told me what supplies he needed and when he would be back. We scheduled afternoons only for several days in a row. It worked out great. He did a great job and cleaned up everything. I plan to use Beatrice Home Improvements next month to replace some outdated looking ceiling fans.

Tim responded to my inquiry quickly, made several follow-up phone calls at times promised and showed up on time for both the estimate and final repairs. Work was done efficiently and cost-effectively in a professional manner. Would definitely recommend Tim to those in need of general handyman services.

Tim showed up right on time for the estimate and right on time to do the work. He did it quickly and did a quality job. He also provided receipts so I knew what he spent on materials and cleaned up after he was finished. Couldn't have gone better.

I contacted several contractors for estimates before choosing Tim. I appreciated his style and he was very informative during the estimate process. We set a date for the work and Tim showed up on time with all materials needed. The baby gates had a tricky installation and he did an Awesome job. Very professional quality work.
