Simply stated: They arrived on time; completed the work in a professional manner and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The stump grinding was amazing. When finished you couldn't tell that a tree was there. Exceptionally good provider.

Crew of five showed up on time. Two men worked on trimming the trees while three cleaned up the yard. The crew worked hard and did an excellent job. The trees look wonderful and the yard is probably in better condition then when they came. Completely met all of our expectations. I would use Linger's again in the future and strongly recommend to anyone looking for similar work.

They were extremely professional! Took down the trees safely, cleaned up everything, were very friendly and professional. I can't say enough good things about the hard working crew! They did a fantastic job!!

Linger's responded the same day I emailed for an estimate. He came out the next day to leave an estimate. The tree was damaged and part of it was against the garage after a storm. A few days later Angie's list sent me an email for tree service for $199.00. Mr. Linger said I could use that special for the work I needed. The work was done quickly, the crew was polite and hard working. I will use them again as needed and will recommend them to neighbors and family.

It didn't go very well, he was going to charge me more money for what he was going to do after I paid $200 for $400 worth of service.

I was so pleased with Mark and his crew's work that I've hired them for the rest of the season. They have mowed, edged and trimmed only 3 of the 4 originally contracted (according to the deal) times so far, but I didn't wait until the deal was finished to make a decision. The crew takes the time to keep track of the direction that they mow the yard - I didn't even know after all this time, that one should not mow the yard in the same direction every week!. I had a very small issue one week that was addressed very promptly. I highly recommend Linger's Lumberjacks for mowing needs in addition to tree needs. I hope they expand next year to fertilizing and weed control along with fall and spring cleanup! That would cover all my needs!

Linger's answered my call and set up an appointment for an estimate the next day. I was impressed by the many rave reviews on Angie's List. They were also the lowest bid, providing me with a senior discount. I called the next day to schedule and was told it would be two weeks. Three weeks later I called Linger's to follow up and was informed I was on the schedule for the following week and Nelson Linger said he would call me. The crew showed up on Tuesday while I was out and there was no call. Since I wasn't home, I cannot comment on the crew's performance other than that the tree was gone. A week later I called Nelson because the stump had not been ground. He apologized and said it would be done. Two days later a young man showed up with a machine that would not fit through my gate. He said he would come back that day, or the next (Friday). I called Linger's again on Tuesday because this man did not show up. Again Nelson apologized and said that he thought it was done. Not very good communication with his staff. Nelson left a message on my phone on Thursday stating that the stump would be ground that day. The same young man showed and and ground the stump. However, I am extremely disappointed with the way he left my yard. I had an eight foot diameter mess of dirt and wood chips. This is not what I expected. I am a 69 year old woman and did not appreciate cleaning up this mess. I do not consider Linger's to be professional or reliable.

Overall it went pretty good. The gentleman that came out to give me the estimate was upfront and truthful about what exactly what work would be done when it came to performing the work that was desired. He explained to me the options that are available and the difference in cost relating the extent of each job performed. IE it was cheaper to have the wood from the tree cut up into manageable lengths and allow me to dispose of the wood versus have them haul it away. When I called to confirm that I wanted them to perform the service, I was advised that this is the busy season so it would be awhile before they can get to me. This only made sense. I had expected to receive a call when they would have me scheduled. We were out of town and when we returned we noticed that the 2 trees were removed. The positive side was they did such a great job cleaning up the worksite I would not have known anyone was here except I saw the trees cut down and the now firewood lying on the ground. The wood was in manageable lengths as promised. The downside is I would have liked to have received a phone call in advance telling me they were coming out. One of the trees that was cut down the wood was on top of plants in the flower bed. I guess it was a 50/50 call flower bed or lawn. I also had expected that the stump in the yard would have been ground up at the same time as the tree was cut down. I followed up with Nelson he said they would be out in a day or two to grind it up. When no one showed up I sent an email to Nelson in the morning asking them to cancel grinding the stump and to just adjust my bill to reflect the same. Instead someone showed up later on the same day. A phone call before the stump being ground or a walk through the are before the service was done would have revealed that the ground may have been to soft. Also I had just come home from having surgery and the stump being ground was outside the bedroom where I was trying to sleep. A courtesy call could have prevented someone showing up to do the work without any advanced notice. Since it had rained the previous day the ground was soft. When they brought the machine around back they put ruts in the yard. Not real happy with that either. Two minor miscues can unfortunately create some I really believe that they do a god job but they could be even better if they would just give the customer a courtesy call before they come out.

They did a nice job. Removed the branches we requested and cleaned up all debris.

The 2 workers arrived and immediately began to unload their equipment. I talked with Mark about our yard boundary line [it has a dogleg] and they began to work. They worked steadily and professionally and were able to mow and edge our quarter-acre yard within 40 minutes the first time. By the third time, it took only 20 minutes. My husband was impressed with the edging (sidewalk, drive and flower beds) and that they mowed the yard in a different direction each time without being asked. They cleaned up the clippings and used a blower on the patio and drive. What a great finished look! We would definitely hire them again.

They were fast and courteous. I am going to use them in the near future.

Had to call a couple times on date scheduled because it was getting really dark, and late. Younger guy by the name of Dillon showed up around 8pm just before dusk, and removed all stumps needing to be removed, and did so in quick, and timely matter. He was courteous, thoughtful and paid attention to the details involved with the job. I used the $199 for $400 worth of work coupon. Worked out pretty good,

I wanted the best and I got the best! The price cannot be beat and they come every Thursday and make my lawn look like a golf course! It is gorgeous and people comment on it :) I had a couple questions and the owner responded faster than The Flash! Everyone is kind, prompt, quick, and my lawn has never looked better. EVERYONE should use them!! THANK YOU!!!

This company is amazing. When they first came I was not home and my husband, who was not sure of the work I wanted done, worked with the guys to trim what they and he thought needed to be done. So they missed one section of trees. I called and the owner has this amazing photographic memory and knew exactly what was missed. They came back and trimmed. The stump grinding had to wait for spring and that was also done with care. They are super nice people and very competent. They are respectful of your trees, property, and the neighbors also.

I was not present when the service was performed so I was unable to meet the crew or provide a rating for punctuality and professionalism. However, they performed the work that I requested and I was grateful. The business answered my phone call promptly and scheduled the service for the next week. All limbs and debris was removed completely. Limbs encroaching the electric and phone lines running to the house were also removed.

All staff members i dealt with were extremely courteous and friendly. They confirmed the work to be performed and it took about 2 weeks from the quote through job completion (quote within 1 day of calling, service scheduled and completed about 2 weeks later). Job done well. Was very pleased with the price.
