Fence Masters

Submitted estimate request through company website, did not receive a response after multiple days. Called the company, estimate was performed a week later. Was told estimate would be emailed, but three weeks later no estimate, even after email follow-up. Poor communication. Should not have to beg a company to spend my money for them, so not attempting to contact again.

This is kind of irritating, not because the provider did anything wrong but because Angie's list is supposed to only list providers that service my area. When I did a search for fencing, Fence Masters came up and had excellent reviews. I called and left a message which was promptly returned.... But they offer a very unique service to save you time and aggravation. Their voicemail doesn't just ask you to leave your name and number but offers to give you a rough estimate if you have approximate dimensions or know what you're looking for. Apparently this company realizes that you may call more than one provider and so you already know exactly how many feet and what material you're looking for. I left a message with the exact information and when Erica called me back she had an extremely competitive quote and was able to do the work within a couple of weeks. So as were talking about this I comment that I'm in Aurora and she says "oh, I did not realize that"... Aurora is almost in our exactly away from Norton where they are located. I know this because my fiancé lives in Norton and makes this commute every week. (She's awesome :) ) Unfortunately for me this provider does not service my area but her getting back to me with an estimate was extremely useful because it validated the quotes that I'd already been given from local companies. Although Fence Masters didn't get anything off of our interaction it was a great service to me. If I were in their service area I have no doubt that I would use this company based on their professionalism and pricing.

Excellent quality for the cost. Had another fence company look at the job, cost quote about the same, but I judged quality of Fence Masters would be much better for the money. Fence Masters very efficient, professional at evaluating the job, making the quote. Very good helping me sort out what is practical with new fence to deal with fence line drainage and gate issues. Gave me realistic start and completion dates and ended up completing ahead of schedule. I frequently inspected the work while it was being done. Everyone was quite willing to answer my questions. Clay in my soil makes drilling for posts challenging, and they used heavier equipment, knowledgable crew to meet that and other challenges on this job. Finished with excellent clean-up.

Fence Master's were excellent to work with. From the cost estimate, to setting up the boundary survey and me having a secondary site visit done because I decided to change the size of the fence, Josh and Fence Master's staff were always friendly and would respond to an email within hours and showed up at the house the same day that I requested a secondary site visit. The work began on the exact day I was told it would 3 weeks in advance and was completed in 3 days (just as I was told) even when I decided to make the fence 15% larger and asked them to do some additional dirt leveling around my property. The fence looks beautiful and was installed properly and looks great! They even power washed the fence once the installation was complete as some dirt was on the fence from the installation. Update 9-30-15: I just recently noticed a broken slat in my fence. I think it was from my riding lawn mower launching something at the fence. I emailed them a picture of the damage and they are ordering me a new piece and replacing it for me at NO CHARGE. Josh and Erica are amazing and truly go out of their way to make sure current and past customers are completely satisfied with their service. Thanks so much for fixing my fence!

Josh came out to give us an estimate. We did 3 estimates and Josh was our last one. We are glad we waited on him because I hired him on the spot. Its nice to see a younger person who has a strong work ethic. From the estimate through the completed project, Josh was very approachable and extremely knowledgable. He and another worker did the job and we and the dogs are very happy with it. I already recommended him to other dog people.

Very good experience with Fence Masters. My wife and I wanted some privacy along our property line, so based on the excellent reviews I saw on Angie's List for Fence Masters, I decided to have them quote fencing for our back yard. The owner, Josh, showed up right on time for the quote. I had him not only quote the shadowbox fence on the one property line, but also quote to have the entire backyard enclosed (with chainlike on the other 3 sides) for future kids/dogs, etc. for budgetary reasons. Since we'd be installing a fence near a property line, I wanted to have a survey performed so we new for sure where the property lines were. Josh was able to refer me to a survey company they use. I kept in contact with Josh so he knew what was going on on my end, and he was very responsive in his replies - he worked with me to get us in the schedule very soon after the survey was complete. Fence Masters also arranged to have all the underground utilities marked before installation took place. Approximately half of the length of the fence required the post holes to be dug by hand since the fence was being installed within 2 feet of the utilities. But they did a great job - nothing was damaged. During the installation, the weather decided not to cooperate, so there were some delays that couldn't be avoided, but the guys worked in the rain on a couple of the days just to get some work done. We are very happy with the final result - we highly recommend Fence Masters and we will use them again to close in our back yard.

When Josh came to our house to give us an estimate, he made suggestions that neither my husband or myself had thought of. He had samples of his product with him not just a catalog to be looked at. That was very much appreciated. I had called another company that only gave me a catalog. Josh and his crew did a great job. His crew leader was very professional, courteous, punctual and friendly as were the crew. Josh's office kept in touch with us by email in case we had any questions. I was asked to walk the fence line before they started to make sure we were all on the same page. Their plot plan was exactly what Josh and I had talked about. The job took 2 days. The site was cleaned up after the job was done. We have no complaints at all about this company and would definitely hire them again and recommend them to our friends.

The estimate, installation and clean up were great ! Everything was taken care of and the work was done on the dates promised. The crew was professional and worked in a timely manner, paying close attention to detail. The fence install was done in 3 days as promised and started the date promised. The craftsmanship was excellent.

This is my second experience with Fence Masters. Last year I had them replace the fence on the back of my property, this year it's the shared fence between myself and my neighbor. The original was 20 years old and starting to fall apart. Since I had such a good experience with Fence Masters last year, who to call was an easy decision. Josh came out at the appointed time, talked to my neighbor and myself and the deal was arranged. Fence Masters crew arrived on time, the old fence disappeared and the new one was done in less than 2 days. The old fence was made from panels and was just stuck in place without regard to how it looked. There's a small hill in the fence line and the old fence came to a sharp point at the top where 2 panels met. The total height at that point was somewhere over 10 ft. above normal ground level. Fence Masters took the overall look into considerations. They made the fence a little shorter at the top of this hill by shortening the posts and pickets. They also made a smooth line over the hill and where this fence meets other fences. It looks so much better and like someone cared when they put it in. My neighbor was impressed with the work. He didn't expect such a nice finished product. I have one more piece of fence to replace in the next few years, there's no doubt who I'm going to call.

He was able to do that in the areas where that is needed. He put a board underneath so that nothing can get under the fence. He was excellent.

Very nice work. The fence looks great. Exactly where we wanted it. He ran into a supply problem, okayed with us using a different manufacturer and covered the extra expense. What else can you say. Great Job.

Contacted FenceMasters by email and set a date for them to evaluate work Had FenceMasters change date with plenty of notice due to other work. Josh from FenceMasters showed up on time Saturday morning Josh and I discussed issues I was seeing with a fence post sagging and a gate no longer clearing cement or latching Josh replaced the latch and adjusted the gate to swing freely Josh dug around, adjusted the fence post so it was straight, and filled the surround area.

Fence Masters came and tore down my 20ish year old deck and replaced it with a beautiful composite wood deck. They were professional, creative, and timely. They worked with in my budget and gave me the most for my money. They showed up everyday and completed the job with virtually no mess. I now have the best deck on my street. I highly recommend Fence Masters.

Fence Masters definitely exceeded my expectations. From the beginning to the end, Josh (the owner) and his crew were very professional, courteous, and respectful. Josh not only wrote up the estimate, but was also on the crew that installed the fence. Josh was easy to work with and always responded to my questions, either by a phone call or an email. I was never waiting on Josh, his responses were very timely and informative. He was willing to answer any question I had and provided a much better understanding of all my options. This was even before I picked them to install my fence. I was initially considering the composite fencing, but the materials alone were out of my budget. Josh helped me understand the differences between the various fencing materials and the quality of each. With his help, I decided on the cedar fencing. I am very pleased with my decision and the fence looks beautiful. Again, Josh and his crew went above and beyond what I was expecting. My original plan was to buy the materials and install the fence on my own. I'm glad I found Fence Master. There is no way I could have come close to the quality of work that they provided. I highly recommend them to anyone that is considering a new fence or a replacement fence. I know they also build decks, so, I?ll be giving them a call when I?m ready for a new deck. The fence was quite large, so the project took about 2 - 3 days to completely finish. We are very happy with the result. Josh and his staff were very professional throughout the process, and were willing to answer any questions we had throughout. When the project was finished, they cleaned up the yard, washed down the fence and put grass seed around the posts. As I said before, we were very pleased with the whole process and the final result.

The City sent me a letter stating that the 20 year old wooden fence that separates my property from an apartment complex needed to be repaired, replaced or removed. On my side of the fence is a small hill and a row of thick evergreen trees and anything else that would grow there, affectively blocking my view of the apartments. On the other side of the fence is a 15 foot hill at a steep angle down. I thought I was going to repair the fence. After falling down the hill twice, before actually fixing anything, I decided this job was not for me. My wife looked around on line and came up with Fence Masters and I gave them a call the next day. It was late afternoon and Josh Arnold answered the phone, he said he would stop by that evening to meet with me. Josh was on time, looked around and measured everything up. The next day, he emailed me 3 proposals for different material fences. When I saw the quotes, they were pretty much the price I was expecting except for one thing, he gives Angie's List members 15% discount. On Thursday, I talked to him and decided what I wanted done. He emailed me the contract which I signed and mailed back with a check. Monday was a holiday, Tuesday he got the permit, and Wednesday he started working. It was done on Friday and the only evidence that he had been here was the new fence. I am very pleased with the fence, it is actually a small bit more than I expected. I am very pleased with Josh and Erica Arnold and Fence Masters and wish I has more fences to replace. Of course, there is my 20 year old deck, hmmmm, Josh, expect a call next year :)

We called fence masters for an estimate on a fence for our farm. Josh came out and gave us a price, he was very nice and polite and listened well. we decided to go with Josh and fence masters. they came out and put up a great fence for us. They were very neat and concerned with not damaging any landscaping. They dug very deep holes, to prevent frost heave, as Josh explained. Every thing was done very professionally and looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and have already recommended them to two of my friends.

The fence is awesome. The workers who came out were very nice, polite, informative, and very professional. They stuck to their schedule. They were very communicative and very responsive. They called me right away. They did a great job at a comparable price. I would recommend them to others.

called company and left two messages requesting estimate on fences. Also filled out two online estimate requests. This company has not even bothered to respond to any of my messages! Guess they do not need the business.

Josh was on time and very nice. Cost of what I wanted done was a lot more than what I wanted to pay but don't know if it was out of line. Would try him again.
