Since having the air duct cleaning done, I've had Blind and Sons install a new water softener, do some plumbing work, and install a whole house back up generator. Tomorrow they are installing a new furnace and central air unit! I don't know why I didn't start using this company sooner.

Description of Work: They installed a new furnace, which they service and are servicing our Air Conditioner and duct work. We trust them and their service men. They have been truthfully about what needs to be done and what does not. They are courteous, prompt and clean up before leaving. I would recommend them.

Since I purchased a warranty from them when it was installed 6 yrs ago, there was no charge for this work. They have always provided quick, efficient service, and the service men are friendly and very good at explaining what they are doing.

I had not been happy with blind and son but called them as one of the contractors to get a price.The salesman was awesome gave a price, and had the furnace in and the air conditioning compressor hoked up the next day as promised. Furnace s been extremely efficient as promised.

Description of Work: I bought a deal to replace an existing light switch for 35.00. The value of the deal was supposed to equal 119.00. My closet pull chain light broke and the light switch needed to be replaced. One would think this was an existing switch. I was told it not and I had to pay an |additional 25.00. To cost so the job was 60.00 and did not receive 119.00 value and it cost the full price of the job. I have asked others if the light switch was the same and they say yes. It took less than 20 minutes to complete the job. That is a Pretty expensive hourly! They also tried to sell me contracts got home maintenance work on the furnace,ac, hot water heater. They took about 30 minutes doing that after I explained more than once it was time to do this maintenance. Basically I feel it was a bait and switch deal.

Description of Work: We have not been satisfied for the last two years. Maintenance agreement payment did not cover the entire maintenance - there was still an additional charge. We were also told that the parts malfunctioning were from Mexico and "very poorly made parts" and they could not purchase from anywhere else. We were just not satisfied with them, we are sorry to say.

Description of Work: This was an Angies List deal to replace an elecrical outlet in the bathroom. The technician was willing to go the extra mile literally by running to the store to pick up a part he needed and did not have with him. Job completed without a problem.

Description of Work: We had just come back from Ireland on a Saturday evening. Our basement drain had backed up = we called Blind & Sons and Denny W. (860) came out promptly - worked diligently and corrected the problem. Very courteous and professional. Would use them again for sure.

Description of Work: PLACED THE ORDER WAITED AND THEY NEVER CALLED, CALLED ANGIE`S LIST AND THEY SAID,THEY HAD NOT HEARD FROM THEM EITHER, SO I CALLED THEM, SAID THEY WHOULD SEE IF THEY COULD COME OUT THAT WEEKEND,HE LEFT A VOICE MAIL ON MY OFFICE PHONE FRI NIGHT SAYING THEY COULD NO MAKE IT. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. AFTER THAT CANNCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP AND ASKED FOR A REFUND, AND NEVER GOT IT!

Description of Work: We bought our furnace from Apple Heating & Cooling last year which is now Blind & Sons. This year we called for a maintenance check and the cost was included with the purchase of the furnace. We're happy with the service we were given by Blind & Sons. Apple was great to work with and we hope Blind & Sons will continue with that tradition.

Description of Work: They removed my old furnace and air conditioner and replaced them with new, high-efficiency models. They actually showed up a little early, were very professional and courteous, and worked hard to get the job done. They cleaned up, programmed the new thermostat, and made sure that I understood how to work everything. I thought they were great to work with, and would definitely consider using the company again.

Description of Work: The company came out but couldn't get the cover off of the drain to do the work. They were on time and professional they just couldn't do the work so I need a refund.
