Description of Work: Waited 2 weeks to get service. Left without charging coolant. Hired a different firm to add coolant.

Description of Work: We hired them to install a new furnace for our home. The first one they came out to install did not work at all. It seemed to be a faulty furnace altogether. Because it was a Trane furnace, we had to have technicians from the manufacturer come out to look at it. It was just a fiasco. After it was installed, it wasn't heating up our home properly. When I called them about it they said that it was just because our house was too big for it to heat up the whole home. I didn't feel that was really an acceptable excuse. They did end up rectifying it and as for the furnace, it is a good product, I just really wasn't happy with the service, so I would not recommend them.

Description of Work: 2 years ago, we had them install a new boiler for heat and new central air which was put in the attic (we have a ranch). We've had nothing but problems with both. The boiler was such a new model that non of the service technicians could service it correctly. At the end of last years heating season, Blind asked if they could bring in a group of tech's to "learn" the boiler. They had 5 guys with the manufacturer on the phone and they tore-down and re-built my boiler. The A/C was much worse. The unit was installed incorrectly and the first season that we used the A/C, we found that the condensation water drip pan & lines were installed incorrectly and all that water ran down between our walls making its way to the basement. What a mess. Blind did handle it fast and efficiently. My house was tore up to remove the attic insulation and the walls that were water damaged and, cut out and remove baseboards to run fans for days so mold did not grow. Additionally, all items ruined in the basement from water damage were compensated for. All said, installation of both units was terrible. But, to give them credit, they handled in a professional way and did not make it worse that it was. This current visit and cost ($200) was for the annual service contract and the heating season tune-up. Something that I'll never go without because of the problems.

Took too long and tried to over-price the job. I blame the electrician that came to the house, not Blind & Son.

Description of Work: I would certainly hire this company again. I had a small electrical job which they performed perfectly and was glad to learn that the company does many home services other than electrical. They do not charge by the hour but give a price upfront for the job. This really appeals to me. I know what I'm going to pay before I get into it.
