The guy was fantastic. Very nice guy. The problem is nothing was done. He made a call and decided it was something else and that was an additional $200. I declined and he left with the light switch still hanging out of the wall. Basically he left the place in the exact same shape as when he came. Again, the guy was nice and if I ever have to do any electrical work I would probably use them, just I paid $35 for nothing. Or i should say, I paid $35 to hear them tell me I need to pay an extra $200. So take this review as you will. Good guy, just didn't like being charged for a job not done. They contacted me promptly to plan the appointment. Everything was professional. Just they didn't end up doing a thing and didn't even put the new switch back in the wall, the only thing I paid for. 6/10 would recommend, sort of.

I had quite a bit done. They had a special going on about outlets and everything. It wasn't a hot day but it wasn't too cold of a day but anytime they had to come in the house because it was kind of muddy outside, they had little plastic boots for their shoes. They did great work upstairs. They made sure I was satisfied with everything. They came out for the estimate, to walk around to see the floor. They are doing work that you know exactly what you are getting. I thought the price was pretty decent. I wouldn't say it was overall the best but I was so pleased with what they did. I liked the way that they represented themselves when they came out here. I wasn't sure about certain things but they told me about what I need.

Don was very professional went about his business and finished in no time at all. Took the time to explain the surge protector about what it does and then explained the warranty. With new appliances I now can breathe easier knowing they are protected. Well done Blind and sons and Don. Would definitely use them again in the future.

They were excellent. He diagnosed it right away. He came on one of the really cold days and they were very busy. I told them they could go on to help others first if they could just assure us that we'd be safe in the meantime, but he said no, that once they come out to a place, they fix what they came for. He was very good. He fixed it in quite a short time. We were very pleased. Their prices were reasonable. They were very good.

It was fine. They stayed in the price range. It was very satisfactory repair job. He did what we asked him to do. We paid what we expected to pay. Their responsiveness was fine.

I bought two switch coupons from Blind and Sons LLC, when a light attached to a ceiling fan in my house could not be turned on, while the fan could. One coupon was for this switch and another as a backup or for a different thing. Before the electrician came in we bought two new switches, one simple and one complicated. With the simple new switch in, both light and fan stopped working. An electrician from Blind and Sons said that neither of the new switches would work and reconnected our old switch, then the fan worked though still not the light. He said that to fix the fan light the entire fan/light needed to be replaced and quoted me a pretty high price for the labor to replace the fan. After he left, I noticed more problems with his installation of the old switch, e.g. plugging in a small appliance to an independent outlet would turn the fan on. It took a while to get him come back to examine this. He checked and agreed that he did wire it wrong and fixed it without further charge. I do not need to use the second coupon so I got a refund for the second one. Then, I contacted a different electrical company specializing in ceiling fans, they fixed the light with the above mentioned 2nd switch and a light kit I bought - there was no need to replace the fan or its motor. The price was better too. In summary, they are okay though a different company solved my problem.

I was replacing the batteries in my non-programable thermostat and once the new batteries were inserted, the thermostat began smoking. I pulled the batteries and noticed the display had gone out. Looks like something "fried" the thermostat. Blind & Sons do all of our HVAC & plumbing work, so I called them to see if someone could come out to do an inspection. The dispatcher called and said a technician would be there within a half hour. 10 minutes later, the technician called and said he received the work order and was on his way over within 15 minutes. The tech (John Williamson - Tech #884) arrived right on time, was very professional and went straight to work. After looking over and testing various connections on the furnace & air conditioner, we was satisfied there were no other issues. He straight lined the thermostat directly into the furnace, replaced the old thermostat with a new Aprilaire non-programmable thermostat and tested everything. All working well. After an hour, John left as professional and courteous as he arrived and had our issue resolved to our satisfaction. Thanks John! The only issue I had was the steep price of the new thermostat, which Blind charged me $140. I could have went out and bought a comparable thermostat for less than $50. Total bill was $230.00 (which included a $90 service call). I used one of my $25 Blind & Sons gift cards so our final cost was $205.00.

I hired them to do a whole house duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. They arrived, (techs Rick and Adam) extremely careful to get their boots off and booteys on before making a mess (it was a snowy day). They were very pleasant and let me know their gameplan. I walked them around and after inspecting several ducts, Rick recommended not doing the cleaning. He said that the ducts were clean and that I should spend my money on a vacation or something! He explained that his company's philosophy is to sell the service only when the service is needed. They did recommend that I have the dryer vent cleaned, however. They seemed to do a nice, thorough job with the dryer vent. Additionally, I had a nasty draft coming from my front door which I just noticed and they were nice enough to slap some adhesive plastic sealant on there to hold me over until I can get somebody out to repair the door. I really appreciated that. I liked these guys a lot and would definitely use this company again.

They dissemble my waterheater and leave it as is. So basically i am getting "negative service" , also 1. their service call does NOT include any repair. the cost of service call appear lower so that they can "bait" customer into calling them 2. they charge you for each small things they do, and want your consent that "if we replace part A, your waterheater may or may not work"; they want to charge you even if they will not fix your problem 3. they do not service Whirlpool, unless you are willing to pay for every little "attempt" they do, each step cost you approximately 252 dollars per hour, based on the quote I was given 5. I was informed that they charge $1000 for replacing water heater, which will justify a couple of hundreds of dollars for easy repair. 6. how would you feel if your time get wasted when you can do something valuable?

Purchased outlet replacement from big deal for $39. The electrician showed up on time, replaced the outlet with no complications or additional cost. Would recommend again.

We currently own 2 homes: a house in Twinsburg and a condo in Akron. We live in the condo, our daughter Christy lives in the house in Twinsburg, and is in the process of buying it. It needs some major plumbing work soon. It also needed a minor repair right now. We have an MVP Plan with Blind Plumbing at the condo, but since we were selling the house to Christy, we let the one for the house we had expire, since it will be her decision and responsibility soon. Tuesday Christy called and requested a service call. The first thing she was told is the MVP plan was expired. Then she was told they could get someone out Thursday (not bad) but that the only time frame they could give her was 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. They would call a half hour before arriving. Since Christy works till 3:30, and gets home at 4:00, that was not so convenient. So her mom and I went up to the house (23 miles, 37 minutes each way.) We spent the whole day there till she got home, waiting. When did the plumber in the field finally call: 6:17 pm! Not convenient. When my wife complained to him, he said his instructions were AFTER 3:00 pm. There was never any chance of his arriving between 8am and 3 pm. I suspect, but can?t prove, this was a tactic designed to try to get us to re-up for the MVP plan there. I told him not to bother, we would find another plumber! They will not get the minor repair, the major repair, or the MVP from her I?m pretty sure. And they will probably lose us as a customer when our MVP plan expires.

Call Blind and Son's on 1/26 requesting that an electrician take a look at a shorted out electrical box in our sewer system. Asked if we could have someone come out the same day as was afraid sewer was going to back up. The electrician arrived later that afternoon and replaced/rewired the electrical box. However discovered the sewer pump was still not working. Electrician called back to the office and immediately scheduled a plumber to arrive at 8:00 a.m. on 1/27. Plumber arrived exactly at 8:00 a.m. and determined our pump was bad. This pump was an older pump but the plumber knew exactly where he could get a replacement. He drove and got the replacement and we returned going right to work to replace the bad pump. The electrician and plumber were very courteous and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend using Blind and Son's they are a one stop shop providing a vast variety of services. I will definitely call them again should the need arise. Thank you Blind and Son's what a professional organization.

It's a good company. It's easy to get appointments with them. I've never had a problem with them.

He arrived promptly when I expected him. He introduced himself and the company. He proceeded to do the job. While he was here he explained what he was doing and what he found wrong with my furnace. He treated me with respect and explained things well. We discussed the age of my furnace and what he would recommend.

Blind's technician Ernie Kurylo #895 was right on time, friendly, professional and went straight to work once I showed him our shower / tub drain which has been running extremely slow for the past few weeks. He snaked the drain and cleared obstruction and the drain is running like new again. He gave me a step by step review of the work he did and showed me the drain obstruction...matted hair which looked like a small cat! Very fair price for the service which is only $99.00. The best part was that Blind offers a $10 discount if you make the appointment on their website. They also accepted my Blind & Sons $25.00 gift card which I received in the mail from them a month or two ago. Final cost of service performed was $64.00...for a Saturday service call! I use Blind & Sons for all of my HVAC, plumbing, drain clearing & small electrical work and have never been disappointed. Thanks Blind & Sons!

They clean and tune up my furnace yearly, and if it needs changed, they will replace the filter. I've been using them for about five years and will continue to use them.

My wife was there when the crew arrived, but she said it went great. The team was professional, courteous and did a very good job cleaning the ducts. Would definitely recommend Blind and Sons for the service.

They took the service that I purchased and move it forward because I did not use it then. I have not had any problems. They did something that they did in the furance in the wrong place. They came out and re-vented it. They were very professional.

Put down drop cloths. Snaked both drains multiple times. Would not leave until they were clean. Cleaned up & helped return items that were moved. Great job!
