Installed a concrete patio

Glad I was on-site to help direct and coordinate. If not, the project would not have been completed per my and their sales team expectations. They did a great and efficient job.

I would never use this company again. Crooked cuts and weird color spots on a patio that is less than a year old. We had heard good things about this company, they sounded great when we talked to them in the phone. When they told us they could squeeze us in last year we were pretty excited. They were to get rid of our old patio and put in a larger patio and sidewalk. Everything seemed good during demo of the old patio and they poured the new patio the same day. They were to come out the following day to make the relief cuts for the patio. They came the next day and made the cuts in the pouring rain. We waited to go in the patio and put furniture back for the 10 days they recommended. After going and starting to put furniture back in we really started to notice the flaws. The reliefs cuts they made are not straight and completely crooked because they could not put proper lines down in the rain. There were these weird color spots that did not match. All the edges around the patio where it meets the house are a different color. We had them come back out and they said they could color patches and put some chemical and what looked like more concrete on top of them. They said there wasnâ t anything they could do about the crooked cuts and it was what it was. They said give the color six month to even out. It is been a year and it has not evened out. The spots they â fixed look terrible to this day. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

AQC installed a stamped concrete patio with border for us. They did a phenomenal job! Dusty communicated throughout the process to let us know exactly when they would be at our house, if they were delayed by weather, and what to expect each day. My young children were very interested in the construction process, and the guys were so nice to let them watch and ask questions. The entire crew worked efficiently to complete the job, but without rushing and compromising the quality of the project. All trash and construction debris was cleaned up when the job was finished, which was very much appreciated! Overall, we highly recommend AQC and will definitely use them for future projects.

I Hired AQC to poor my driveway, Carport floor, Patio, and a slap for my new shed. AQC were able to get there in middle to late May of 2018. While they are pouring concrete it rained a little which caused some rough areas under the gutters. I did not complain about this, I let it go. there was a lot of concrete spots on my siding, I did not complain about that either. AQC did not cover my siding to protect it from the concrete spatter as other reputable companies do. I did not complain about that either. after the first winter, my concrete showed pitting in different areas. I own a plow truck with a salt spreader but I do not salt my driveway even when I had my cracked and damaged driveway. I had another contractor tell me it was not sealed right which I asked the workers if it was sealed at the time because it had the dry look and assured me it was sealed. The salt from the city plow got on my driveway and pitted the concrete which should be protected by the sealer. Other areas showed the sones in the concrete which was from the rain and the extra water sitting on the newly poured concrete. The hard broom finish made it hard to sweep or clean the concrete. when supporting the carport, the one post was not put in the right place, I fixed that, didn't even mention that to them. AQC sawed the concrete up to my garage door but failed to ask me to open the door to finish sawing which caused a hairline crack in the concrete under the garage door about 2". I kept calling AQC and they offered to fix the pitted concrete. I asked if that would match they stated no, I asked to replace the pitted sections, they refused. To be fair they offered to reseal the concrete but later start blaming the pitting on my salt spreader which I included in the pictures I sent them. The calls I did were not returned right away. We are in September, and my driveway is still at the same condition. You would think this company would know the weather conditions in Ohio and would protect against the harsh winter or warn the customer to cover the part close to the street or use a good quality sealer. I was expecting more for my money. I have been saving my money for years for this expensive project. I am really disappointed with the way it turned out. UPDATE 5/5/20. Now, we are in May 2020, and my driveway is still chipping and pitting. There are still no solutions to this problem. Also, AQC w3as supposed to test the concrete for effectiveness and I never got a result from that test.

We hired AQC to concrete our driveway. We were very pleased with their work. The driveway looks gorgeous! The crew was very professional, they cleaned up after themselves so we didn't have any clean up to do. I worked with Scott on the quote and scheduling and the company was very flexible as to when to start the job based on our needs. I would definitely use them again for anything concrete related! We have already recommended them to have our neighborhood as they walk by admiring the driveway.

They stayed on top of the project and when the time came to knock it out they did great. The 3 owners were always available to answer questions. The crew worked hard and fast. Great experience working with them.

I decided to rate this project in different categories so if you are considering using this company for your concrete you would know which things we felt went really great and what we thought didnt go very well. We had our project started in April for a 12x 58 ft poured stamped concrete patio in our backyard, and 2- 3 ft Strips of poured stamped concrete down either side of the driveway to extend the width of the driveway. The overall look of the patio and driveway extensions are pretty good, I would probably give them four stars. And that is because the back patio is sloped to the point you can visually see that it is going down hill and Im pretty disappointed about that. Communication I would probably have to give them zero stars. We paid an extra $500 to have our concrete reinforced and extra poured due to us getting a hot tub. When the hot tub arrived we were told we could not fill it with water because our patio is sloped so much that we wouldnt be able to keep water over the filter area. Our patio measured to have between five and 6 inch slope. Ive been doing some research to figure out what the slope should really be, the slope should be between an 1/8 to 1/4 inch per square foot, which shouldve been 1 1/2 inch to 3 inches slope for a 12 foot deep patio. And this is really the whole reason why I am taking the time to write this review, because all the research we did on concrete I never thought about having to advocate for ourselves on how much of a slope the concrete has. We paid $15,000 for this job, I think the concrete was $14,750 and we paid $300 to have a platform built so that we could use our hot tub, so I feel that we should have been able to trust the professionals. I spoke with Dusty and told him what the hot tub delivery man said about the concrete. Dusty said that they had to make that slope so steep because of the natural grade of our yard, and on the day that they poured the concrete he came in and spoke with my husband and said that my husband called the hot tub company and the hot tub company said that it was OK to have that much of a slope. My husband said that he did not remember that conversation and did not call the hot tub company he was just as surprised as I was about the slope. About four weeks after the concrete was poured I called and spoke with Scott in the office to see when they were going to grade the dirt and backfill around the concrete, (which we paid an extra $500 for the service) and told him that we would like to speak with Dusty so that we could work out this misunderstanding, but he never came back to talk with us. Our friends and family that have looked at the concrete said that they felt that if they would have dug down deeper and closer to the house that they wouldve been able to blend more in with the natural slope of our yard and would have avoided the steep slope. I will say that all the gentleman we dealt with were very polite and hardworking, and they were able to start our project quickly, so for that I would have to give them five stars. The last complaint I have is that things were a little sloppy. There is concrete splashed on the bottom of the house, sealer sprayed on the siding around the steps, the driveway had black rubber tire marks from their equipment, and then there was stain that over flowed on our existing sidewalks and driveway. These things I did not call them about because I felt like we had bigger things to deal with. And it was about a week before could walk on the concrete because we had to wait for the sealer to be applied, so we didnt notice these things right away. The reason I wrote this review is for the customer that it might help you if you are looking to do a project, these are the things I wish I would have known.

I hired AQC to lay a concrete patio in my front courtyard. I definitely made the right choice. Scott, in the office was wonderful a patient with me. Rob was very helpful when he arrived to size up my job. Dustin and the entire crew consistently showed up on time, were polite and worked hard. My husband and I are so happy with the completed results. I would recommend this company to everyone.

AQC was a great company to work with. They were very responsive to emails and calls and graciously and honestly answered all questions. Great communication is sometimes hard to find with contractors and was greatly appreciated. They also did great work at a fair price. I would hire them again and would recommend them to friends and family for their concrete needs.

I knew from the first day I talked to Scott that AQC was the right company to install my front and back patio. I did have 1 other estimate, but just didn't feel right about it. After I met Rob, and then Alex, I was so confident they were a top-notch company, and they are! They were professional as well as so personable. The crew was great!!! They worked so well together. It was fascinating to watch them work. Everything they said they would do, they did, and more. My front patio was regular concrete and the back patio was stamped concrete. They came out absolutely beautiful!!! This project has been the talk of my neighborhood. My family and I could not be happier. We will be hiring them again to do our driveway. I highly recommend AQC. They will not disappoint!!

Even though it was an extremely wet spring, Scott kept in touch about our project. We are so happy with our patio and fire pit! It looks beautiful is sloped properly. I now have even steps to go out to the patio. Need to buy new furniture to fit. Cant wait to have friends and family over now that we have space. Call Scott and his team for quality service and product!

AQC removed and replaced half of my concrete driveway. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable cost. I had received other estimates and their price was in-line and lower than other estimates. Professionalism throughout the organization seemed to be the norm, and all their staff were easy to work with including the office manager, estimator, and installers. Scheduling the work went smoothly and they did the job in one day. They arrived at 8:30 am and were pouring concrete by 12:30 pm the same day. I would highly recommend them!

I had an addition to my driveway put in as well as some repair work to my existing driveway and walkway. All I can say is that this company knocked it out of the park. Their office manager Scott was very responsive and the estimator Rob made quick work of getting my quote together. After that the foreman and crew did a great job installing and then cleaning up once the job was finished. I would recommend AQC for your next project as I will be using them again in the future.
