I contacted the Patti group in mid-spring with the purpose of updating the landscape lighting around our home. The current lighting was installed by the previous owner some years ago but has served us well for 5 years. Matt Matisco came out to give me an estimate of the project. After showing him around and explaining what I wanted, I also stated that I was open to suggestions and ideas. At that time, he indicated that what I currently had was considered "runway lighting" because there were too many lights along the path adjoining the two patios. Despite that comment, I asked for an estimate and he stated he would send an estimate within two weeks. Three weeks later, I had not received said estimate. I contacted the Patti group and was put through directly to Matt. He gave me a verbal figure of $8,000 and asked if that was "in our ball park". I explained that it was hard to know if it was in our ball park if I didn't know what the 8,000 included and asked for an itemized estimate as I was expecting. With reluctance, he agreed and I received the estimate via email several days later. Throughout the conversation, it was evident that Matt had no intention of sending me an estimate as he did not think I could afford their services.
