Overall, the job went very well and we were quite satisfied with the work. Upon our call for an estimate, Mike came out promptly (within a few days) to give us an estimate and explain exactly what they would do and how they would accomplish it. It took a few weeks to get a call back on scheduling the work, but that is understandable with the weather-dependent nature of the job. We were originally quoted a 4-6 week wait. However, they called within 2 weeks and offered to come immediately at that time, because they were delayed, due to heavy rains, on other jobs requiring larger equipment than ours. This worked out very well for us. The crew was courteous and informative during the work, which took about 2 full days, and the results were very much to our satisfaction. We were happy with the fact that Mike is an arborist and that he was focused on maintaining the health of our trees, since we wanted to keep as many of the trees as possible. They left the yard nicely cleaned up after the work. Mike came by at the conclusion to be sure we were happy with the results.

Had a tree diagnosed with Oak Wilt in our back yard and it was suggested that we remove the tree ASAP. Called this service on the advice of friends and reviews here. Estimate was done quickly and job was started within a reasonable amount of time. Price seemed fair. We paid for the service in full although the job was not complete when the guys left after taking the tree out. We were told another individual would come and pick up the wood. After a week, the wood was still not removed from our yard and I had to place two calls in order to get the guy to show up. He finally came and DID NOT TAKE ALL OF THE WOOD AWAY. He left a large log in the back yard that had an old plant hanger in it from the previous owner. Quite frankly, we did not pay him to take the wood away that he wanted, we paid him to take all of the wood away. I had to dispose of the large log myself. We were told on the phone that the stump would be cut flush with the ground. It was recommended to us not to grind the stump due to the fungus in the tree. The stump is now over a foot above ground level and nobody ever cleaned up all of the wood chips from the service. The lady on the phone was very nice and apologetic, yet nothing was ever done about cleaning our yard. I did not even complain about the stump...figured it would not help anyway. Overall a mediocre experience.

I spent $600 for the last service. They responded very quickly even though there were a lot of storms here. They have taken care of our trees for a number of years. On the very large branch, I think they subcontracted out for removal of the things that were too large through the shredder. That took a bit longer than I thought it would and that was my only complaint. It took over two days and the guy came at 7 o’clock in the morning on two different days. That was a little slow, but they got it done and they did a good job. They were careful to check the roof when it fell on the garage to assess. So, they went into the garage to see if it had gone through the roof and to see if we needed repairs. They were good. The other workers were good too. I think their price is probably average. In terms of the quality of their work, they have always been real good. I would use them again.

Mike, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. His crew were personable, professional and very efficient. We couldn't have been more pleased. I have already referred a friend to him and would be happy to continue to refer others to him. Thanks, Mike!

Excellent. I called and Mike came out the same day. The crew arrived the next day early and trimmed the two trees in a professional manner. They cleaned up all clippings including the logs and finished as promised. GREAT COMPANY!

Quick response to my email inquiry, came out the next day to give me an estimate. Explained their different services and scheduled my selections. Came out a week later and did all the trimming. Kept in constant communication (both email and phone).

Initial contact was prompt. Estimate of work was accurate. Were supposed to call before they came to do work. Did not call. Tree trimming was acceptable. Evaluation of tree in back yard was accurate. Removal of debris was fine. Clean up was unacceptable - gate was left open, garbage can left on front lawn, patio chair knocked over and other patio things scattered around and not replaced.

I needed a tree trimmed and gutters cleaned on my tall narrow house. They were able to provide an estimate and then the services quickly and efficiently. An older gutter did come loose and put a small hole in the siding of the garage, which is the fault of my old gutters, but they called me immediately and let me know about it, and offered to fix it for me, which was very appreciated.

Responded to initial phone call promptly, gave very reasonable quote for servcies, completed job as soon as snow melted (in one afternoon) and cleaned up very nicely. Would use again and recommend to others. Great job!

A large branch of an old maple tree fell on our house during an ice storm. I called Mike in the morning because much of the branch was still on the house but not completely broken off of the tree...it seemed pretty dangerous. Within 2 hours he came by to give it a look and within 5 hours his team came by and completed the work. Given the amount of work they probably had lined up due to the ice storm, I couldn't be happier with their punctuality, speed, and professionalism. I will definitely look to use Mike's Tree Service in the future.

Mike's Tree Service were very responsive to my call. When I called for the estimate the lady said someone would contact me within the next couple days but they actually came out within just a couple of hours. I appreciated their responsiveness. We didn't use them because of their price.

Well. Mike removed dead branches which reduced all the twigs in the yard. We felt this maintanence kept us safe from falling branches, as the tree was huge.

Mike came to our house the day after we called him and gave us an estimate. His crew came out later in the week and cut the branches off the tree.

He was good and seemed very knowledgeable. He did a good job for me. His price was reasonable and he seemed the most knowledgeable of all the people I had called in terms of trees, what they needed and so on. He cleaned up after himself.

Everything was wonderful. They are a very reputable company. I would use them again.

From start to finish this was a pleasant experience. The company was very responsive and completed the work within a few days of the quote. I would highly recommend them and I will use them again.

Found the estimate to be much higher than other companies. Also claimed that job required use of large equipment that required a waiver for property damage, while others didn't.

VERY HIGH PRICES TO JUST DO SOME TRIMMING AND ATTITUDE WAS REALLY SURLY. The estimate was $1,300.00.

I CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES FOR THEM TWICE. AFTER ABOUT 10 DAYS, THEY FINALLY RESPONDED AND I LET THEM KNOW AT THAT TIME I CONTRACTED WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO A REQUEST FOR AN ESTIMATE.

COMPARED TO OTHER BIDS I GOT THEY WERE ABOUT THE SAME. HOWEVER MIKE WOULD JUST PRUNE IT. ANOTHER COMPANY SAID IT HAD TO COME DOWN. WE WERE HOPING TO KEEP IT.

WORKED WITH ME ON PRICE, DUE TO BEING ON A BUDGET. THE GUYS WERE EFFICIENT AND GOOD, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE.

I HAVE BEEN USING MIKES TREE SERVICE FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THEM. THEY ARE ALWAYS PROMPT AND CLEANS UP. I JUST HAD 2 TREES REMOVED ON 07/12/02 AND ONE OF THE TRIMMERS WENT ON MY ROOF TO CLEAN IT OFF.

OUR CHILDREN USED THEM SO WE THEN USED THEM AND THEY WERE GREAT!

WAS TURNED OFF BY THE SERVICE PROVIDER; HE WAS KIND OF RUDE AND SHORT. THEY WERE HARD TO WORK WITH. NEEDS TO IMPROVE THEIR PERSON TO PERSON INTERACTION WITH CUSTOMER AND THE TREE TRIMMER.
