Couldn't have been better. They arrived when expected, did their work, went over a couple places without me asking, even wiped off the baseboards.

We called several companies, they were the first ones to show up, and they had the equipment to do it.

We have used them previously and have always received prompt, courteous, and professional service at a reasonable price. We will use them again when the need arises.

The men who cleaned the carpet were professional and very courteous going about their work very diligently. The carpets were pre-spotted and the cleaning looks excellent.

The occurrence took place on January 8th when early morning ice blockage in overhead pipes (rupturing 3 areas) and destroying a total of 8 rooms wasn't discovered for approximately 10 hours after the initial break and water release. In contacting Allstate insurance they referred Duraclean to us to do the water damage clean up and restorations. The phone call to Duraclean was made around 8pm on January 8th. There was no direct answer so a detailed voice message was left for them to contact us ASAP. On January 9th after no word back by noon a second call and second message was left. Later that day (Jan 9) Allstate sent an inspector out and the home was deemed a catastrophic claim. The occupants would be displaced due to the extent of the damages and advised to get water restoration company in as quickly as possible. By 6pm and no further word from Duraclean (thanks to Angie's list) we shopped for another water restoration company and contacted ServPro. ServPro sent out people to address the issues the very next morning. January10th contracts with ServPro were signed. In the time span that we contacted Duraclean (Jan 8) and they finally called back (Jan 11th) ServPro had gutted all 8 rooms down to the studs, hauled out all the debris and damaged items. They also had set up dehumidifying equipment and fans for circulation. In addition to having the bulk of the work started they had the future dates set up to get back in assess dry out and start restoration and rebuild. To say we were seriously disappointed in Duraclean's professional attitude and business management (or lack of) is an understatement. It was advised to Allstate to stop recommending a company that can not even return a phone call within 24-48 hours of a catastrophe when they are in the business to assess and take on such repair for damages and collect payments from a large company such as Allstate. The advice and information was recorded for future reference. I would not (and have not) recommended Duraclean for restoration since...

Prompt, efficient, Got the spots. One employee was a trainee. Trainer closely supervised, corrected. Excellent service.

. Two of the fans were not working properly. One made a lot of noise and the other one kept tripping my breaker. I unplugged them, but they did not replace them.

Dropped off an area rug and runner to be cleaned. Advised when we would want to pick up, which was a couple of weeks after they would be done, no problem. The rugs were cleaned, rolled and wrapped. We brought them home and they looked great. Each time we have used this company they have done a great job.

Duraclean arrived on time and completed the job on-time.

We didn't use Duraclean and never will. The owner was rude and isn't concerned that his employees deceive customers.

They were neat, clean, helped us move our furniture back, were very pleasant and they were extremely efficient.

To continue the story. They did an excellent job, and it was quite a mess. Carrying out the old soaked carpet, and putting the room back in the best semplence of order that was possible. At that time, I informed them that when I decided what to do with the room where the carpet had been removed, I would call them to have my entire living space upstairs to clean the carpets. As it took me a year to determine what to do to finish the basement floor where the carpet had been removed, I called them a week or so ago, and ask them to come now and clean my upstairs carpet. They said they would be here on October 21st @ 8:30 A.M. True to their word at that hour, my doorbell rang, and they were here. They were ready, willing and able to do the required cleaning. Since Dave who had been here at the soggy mess time earlier, was here to clean the carpets, I showed him the finished basement room. Both young men were professional and prepared. They told me how long they would be, and I left to run some errands. I returned to find them putting their tools into their van, and they stated they were finished. The time estimate for completion of the job was exactly right. I would never hesitate to recommend them to any one who has had the experience I had had with the water, or to have their carpet professionally cleaned. It is nice to know there are companies out there with integretity and know how to service the public. Yes, I would have the again, if needed!!!

While they were here everything seemed to go well. A crew came in and took over the house for about 2 weeks fixing ceilings etc... We have a large area of wood floor and it took me a while to find a replacement from a flooring company. I showed Todd the floor and he told me how good his workers were at installing wood floors. Looking back I should have gone to the real experts that have experience installing wood flooring. I believed Todd and that was a big mistake! Originally the floor went down well and looked beautiful but after a little while it started to get a little noisy which I ignored at first. However, it's been over a year now and this wood floor sounds like it's in a haunted house! There is an expansive area that is extremely squeaky and it continues to get worse! Our old wood floor had been down for over 15 years and there was not one area that squeaked! We talked to an "expert" about it and were told the reason could be one or more of several: 1.) The wrong nail gun was used; 2.) The wrong nails were used 3.) The nails were not put in deep enough 4.) Not enough nails were used. As a result, Duraclean was negligent when they installed the wood floor. So we called Duraclean to come out and see what could be done. A lady returned our call and said "the production manager stated that if the floor squeaks when you walk on it, there's nothing they can do about it". My advice is to use Duraclean for the minor things but when it comes to installing hardwood floors stay with the "experts"!

They do a fantastic job and are easy to deal with. Price is fair.

Duraclean did an awesome job. It started with the person who answered the phone. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful The workers arrived on time to do the cleaning. These workers were extraordinary. The were patient, professional. knowledgeable and very hard working. They finished this job in one and a half hours. The white carpet was white again. We were more than satisfied. Todd, the owner, cares about his customers. It is demonstrated in the people he hires!! Why can't all companies run this way???? We highly recommend Duraclean in Avon.

They are normally 2 young men and they are strong and get to work and get the job done. They appreciate so much that I move move most of the movable items so it makes it easier on them. They put special blocks under the furniture that stays in the middle of the room. and everything is cleaned up when they are done. They had an emergency at some other home with water damage and asked if I minded if they did them first. I thought that was classy that they cared to help someone in dire need and asked my permission. I said of course, I wasn't in a hurry.

Do not call these people for anything. They are completely unreliable. You know there's a problem when the owner of this Duraclean, Todd, doesn't even have a voicemail box set up. Wonder why. No service was performed because they canceled on me twice for a pretty easy carpet clean. First time the appointment was set I was called to reschedule because she overbooked the appointment. Ok, so I made another appointment. She called me on Monday afternoon to tell me that my appointment scheduled for Tuesday morning at 8:30 had to be rescheduled because they had to take care of people that the storm affected. Ok...I understand that those people needed help but the storm was a week ago and I made the appointment two weeks ago and you call me less than 24 hours before you are suppose to be here to tell me you, essentially, would rather get the big dollars instead of my little dollars??? Help them yes, but you should have called way before. I took the day off. I then ask to speak to the person in charge and she said his name was Todd but Todd wasn't there. Todd also owns this franchise. I asked for his voicemail and she said he doesn't have a voicemail. I said I didn't believe that but ok, she took a message and guess what..Todd never called me back. Unprofessional doesn't even describe this guy and his business practices. I have 1) never been called to reschedule because they overbooked and 2) never been called back AGAIN to reschedule because of a weather related issue. Todd, if you don't want to do carpet cleaning and rather get your money some other way like in restoration, you should get out of the carpet cleaning business. And because you only want the bigger dollar jobs, I suspect you probably do a half assed job on those to just to get the most dough possible out of each job. Unbelievable.

The folks from Duraclean were great to work with. My family feels like we got great service at a good price and we would definitely use them again. We scheduled the appointment less than two weeks in advance and they were right on time with courteous and professional cleaners. The carpet looks great and the sofa looks amazing!!! You'd never know we have a two-year old and a dog!!!

I love this company. They are always friendly, punctual, and helpful. My carpets always look and smell great when they are done. I had this company do some clean-up after the flooding that hit our area pretty badly in the spring of 2011. They did a fantastic job of extracting the water from the basement carpet, cleaning, de-molding, and then drying everything up with fans and dehumifiers. The price was right too!

They are very responsive and do a very nice job. I was very satisfied with the work.

They showed up on time and were professional and used clean equipment and suggested (correctly) that I remove the area rug to the driveway until it dried (hardwood floor protection). All was done in short order (about 40 mins) and no bad reactions were had by any of our animals or ourselves. The carpet was mostly dry by the end of the day (they performed the work about 10:00 AM).

I was not happy with them. Their customer service was excellent, but their overall quality of service was lacking. I will never use them again.

Two nice young men arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled time. They assessed our cleaning needs, explained the Duraclean system and got right to work. They treated spots with a spray that had a slight chemical smell but the actual cleaning solution had a rather pleasant citrus scent. They did a through job of three rooms and a hall, treating and going back over the dirtiest areas. The suction on the machine they use is extremely powerful. It took less than an hour but they made sure we we're satisfied with their work before leaving. We were amazed at how refreshed our carpets looked! I would use them again and will recommend them to others.

I wanted the carpet cleaners to come while furniture was still in the middle of the room from the wallpaper hanger. They came and were efficient and fast. They always do a super job. As they turned off their machine after finishing the job, our power went out so they had to come back to do the Scotchguard spraying which they did at my requested time. I was impressed. They also put all the heavy furniture back to the perimeter of the room after they cleaned that area. Then proceeded to clean the middle of the rooms. They always leave the foam pieces under the furniture as not to mess up the clean carpet. Both men were very nice and are professiona
