My call was returned in less than 2 hours and they came out that day for written estimate on a large bore riddled ash tree by the street in front of my home. Since my friend wanted the wood, the estimate included cutting the wood into 18-24 inch sections, cutting the brush into manageable sections, and cutting the stump as low as possible. Andy and his assistant came the next day even though the temperature was in single digits as I watched from the comfort of my living room. They proceeded to bring the tree down in a professional and surgical manner. Undercutters Tree Service was prompt, competent, and very cost effective and my neighbors have actually asked for their business cards. I will definitely be using them in the future.
Description of Work: They came out and cut a large ash tree down in the front of my home by the street.

Description of Work: Andy is relatively new as a self employed tree service person (though experienced in the craft) and he's young......but I'm glad we employed him to remove trees from our property as well as trimming others that needed work. Unlike many tree services, he's a climber and does not use a lift truck to get him into position. That didn't stop him from doing a very professional and competent job on our trees. His price was very competitive, he showed up when he said he would, he returned all of his calls (unlike two with major ads in the Yellow Pages) and did a great job with his clean up. He works with another young man and the two did a great job as far as we're concerned. If you're expecting a nice truck in your driveway and somebody with a Harvard MBA business approach, he's not your guy. But if money matters to you, you want a good job done and you'd like to help a budding entrepreneur in the process, he's worth a call.
