ABSOLUTE JUNK!! I purchased 13 flimsy Dynaweld windows and half of them were defective. The sash latches would stick open and when the window sash was raised, it would fall forward and rip right out of the frame! This happened to 2 windows!. I contacted Modern Builder Supply, who owns Polaris Windows, and they offered me "parts" to repair 2 windows that failed and were beyond repair! They didnt even bother to look at the photos I emailed them that clearly showed these windows were not repairable as the cheap, thin, plastic vinyl frames were busted. So, I sued them and won my case! In the meantime, I go back to purchase a replacement window (only because I want all the windows to match) and my customer's home has a big hole in the side of it covered with plywood (a 7 month ordeal) and they refuse to sell to me a replacement window because I did the right thing and sued them! STAY AWAY!!!! Pathetic product and even worse customer service!!!!!! Not only is their product JUNK, their treatment of their customer's is obviously just as bad. To this day the son's of ******* refuse to make this right!
Description of Work: I simply needed a supplier to supply a decent window and stand behind it when it failed. They did neither.

We have had these Polaris windows installed by Window Concepts of Minnesota on the 15th of December. The windows are unsafe with corners jagged enough to cut through a baby carrot. See for yourself. Both companies are pointing fingers at each other. I have spoken to 3 managers of Polaris including Vice President Mike Graham who was in disbelief of everything I tried to explain to him. I asked to speak to his superior, he answered “not today, thank you!” And hung up on me! As of today, I still have not heard anything from anybody.

The windows purchased leak air and now I have to cover them with plastic. When they first came out to inspect the windows after installation they found that, yes, they leak air. They gave the installer instructions to fix the windows. The installer found out that these suggestions didn't work. After this they said there is nothing wrong with the windows and they insinuated that the problem was me.
Description of Work: Purchased via an installer through this company.

Purchased this house and transferred the warranty. Steve has been out 3 times to check and twice to change the windows. He fixed the crank on one of the windows, re-caulked a lot of the seals that had broken and there were some pins that had broken through the years, replaced those as well. He was wonderful.
Description of Work: They came back on this date to finish replacing the windows.
