Premier Deck & Fence LLC

The business is a scam. I paid a $4000 deposit August 2021 and the work has never been completed. Excuses of why they didn’t show up or have just been completed ignored. We asked for our money back or give us the fencing materials and they said they could not give the material because of insurance purposes and needed to sell the material to get our money back. Didn’t we pay for the material in our deposit? Took them to court and they never showed up. Absolutely garbage people.

It started out okay, aside from all of the excuses about missing agreed upon times to meet and not showing up when agreed to to do specific tasks. The list of unique excuses was very long. Once the initial work was complete and the new deck weathered through a winter all of the fascia on the deck warped extremely bad, After taking the owner of the company nearly 3 months to come out and look at the warped boards all around the 1500 sq feet of multiple decks he told me that I should file a claim with Trex because he did everything to their specifications. I filed a claim with Trex and they had me take measurements of the screw placements in pictures and send to them. Once they received the pictures and read the tape measure distances of the screws they rejected the claim and said they could not help me. I was told to work with the contractor. The letter of claim rejection said that the contractor did not follow their standards on screw distancing standards, The contractor was not even close to the standards and failed to follow their recommendations on the use of wood glue to assist in the board placement. This was in September. The owner of Premier kept telling me he would make things right, for me not to worry. For the next 8 months I could get no answers on when the deck would be fixed. It looked terrible and I could get no direction on when Premier was going to come out. I either got no answer to my texts or excuses as to what was going on. Finally in May I told the owner I was going to provide reviews of his company to multiple outlets so that others would not get ripped off like I was, His response was "That's great to hear George. I had a great conference call this morning with Tyler (TREX) and his support team. I was prepared and geared up to have your material delivered late next week and have everything wrapped up by the following week. So needless to say I will change my course of action on the entire situation". I took that as his way to get out of the situation. In Dec (six months prior to this last exchange) I was told that TREX had agreed to pay for 1/2 of the materials and that Premier would do the work and pay the other half . So I contacted Trex, in May, to see if they would pay me directly for the half of the materials and they agreed, in good faith, to pay me the half of the material cost and I could get it done without the use of Premier. Kudos to TREX for being an upstanding company by still reimbursing me for the mistakes of the contractor. There were other minor problems that I notified Premier of and I was told that they would get out there and fix it but they never did, I ended up fixing it myself in two cases. The fence is not straight. The boards are warping and the gates are bending. Dave at Premier Fence was contacted. He admitted that the gates needed to be replaced. After every conversation he said he would be out in a week to fix all the issues. This was in March 2017. It is now Oct 2017 and he has never showed up even after several occasions he has said he would. He has now stopped responding. He does not warrenty his work and his workmanship with fencing is below average. Look elsewhere.
