Took the money and ran! Keeps giving excuses as to why he can't come out and do the pre-paid work! He has done this to others as well, per a search for reviews about John Ross and his company! Either do the work you were paid for, or you will receive a letter from legal counsel.

I was very pleased with John Ross and his co-worker's professionalism, punctuality, and overall attention to detail. Since I am totally unfamiliar with all that needed to be done, I was unsure at first what I was getting myself into since other contractors at the house were suggesting that I paid too high a price for just a chimney repair. When I had asked John to provide me with detailed receipts and photographs (which he had already taken to show me in the end), I was pleasantly amazed at what an excellent job he had done given that the existing roof and chimney were in unknowingly terrible condition to start-off with. I then decided to go up on the roof and took a look for myself with him and his co-worker. They showed me exactly what was done and more importantly guaranteed their work----for life! In summary, great job to John and his crew. They are not cheap, but they know what they're doing and will use the best materials and knowledge to get the job done right.

Project required more customization work than originally estimated. John Ross, the owner, took the time to make sure the installation was done right. We are very pleased with the new chimney liner and our new gas logs.
