Called to see if they service our area. Spoke with Esmeralda (Mrs. Plumbing) who said they had a plumber in our area and they could come by in an hour. Martin (Mr Plumbing) arrived about an hour after the call and got us fixed up in a jiffy. No leak, plumbing redone to drain better and faith restored in millennials all in an afternoon. Glad we called and will call again next time we need any plumbing work done. Nice to find young people who know how to work!!

They did fine.

Gave me a window of 1:00-3:00 PM for visit to estimate a plumbing job. I called at 2:40 to ask if they were coming - no answer. I called again at 3:20 and left a message. They never called back to apologize or reschedule. I took 1/2 day off to be there to meet them. If you value your time, don't call this company.

I call Mr &Mrs plumbing to get a quote and ask what he charge. They stated he had to see the job first. I had already cut out all drywall around tub, remove toilet, vanity and sub floor. He didn't (DID NOT) hook up no Cooper/shower and tub valve. I did this myself. The job he did I could have done a better job but the tub needed two individuals to lift in place. The bathroom only need the tub to be connected. All he needed to do is drop fit the tub over the floor drain and attach the drain and overflow by making sure the PVC is measure to size. He came at 1:00pm and didn't leave until 6:00pm. First problem: When Martin look at the job he wanted to cut my traps below and move them over. I told he he didn't need to cut them because nothing change. I have already measure it three days ago and there was no way he could get to them below. I ask what was the charge he stated $500. I told him that was too much. He then said $400. I said $350 because the job shouldn't take that long to do and he was using my PVC and etc. The job: I had to explain the job to him. I told him he needed to do a dry fit and measure the components (PVC/overflow) and place tub to see if all PVC fit. A plumber should know this. His helper did the measurements and all look good. Also his helper cut out a board to place over hole in floor as I requested to avoid air from coming from the basement. Martin remove the board and never replace it after he finish. ( I think he left the debris under the tub). I asked if he replaced it and he said yes but he lied. I checked after he left when I check for leaks. They chip the corner of my tub. They wasn't going to mention it to me if I didn't see it. I was upset. He did offer to buy me a new tub but that would take too long. He did the dry fit and and tighten the tub drain too tight and strip the drain. Martin didn't check the fittings as they were too short. PVC and overflow was too short. Therefore, if the drain didn't strip it would have been a mess. He remove the tub and and realize the trap was too short also and he didn't have the part in the truck so he went to the store to get part. When he return he begin to work but this this time he didn't remove the tub. I asked him to remove the tub and he refuse. He propped tub in the air high enough with some tube piping that only his arm could fit under the tub (only by feel) and his helper help hold the tub up. Martin was on his tummy laying on the floor fitting the PVC together without a light only by feel. I couldn't stand to watch what he was doing. So I went downstairs. I was so nervous that I would have leaks. Martin wanted to cut out my foundation of my home to get to this over floor drain. I told him NO. Then he ask could he go through my closet in my bedroom and tear out my drywall I said NO. I told Martin the drain was above the flooring easy to get too. It was right in his face. As he was working he realize the other end of the drain was too short and needed an extension too. All Martin did was assume that all PVC fitted and tighten it up. I have been doing plumbing for some time and never seen an individual work like this. I am an elderly female. The tub was too heavy to lift this whyI called a plumber. Never again. END: I had to tell Martin and his worker I wanted the tub filled with water to the overflow to check for leaks and I was going to leave over night. Every time I mention something to Martin he would always say he was going to do it. He only fill to to middle of tub. I didn't want tub nailed (holes through my tub) I wanted washers. Because they already chip my tub. Martin never asked. I asked his worker and he stated they did not nail it. I was upset when I saw that they did. I paid $300 for this job and I am not happy and hoping no LEAKS. If Martin never had put in tub with above floor plumbing he should have said so. I would have waited and did it myself. Martin stated that I have 90 days for this job. I'm praying that all goes well. Martin stated to me they were a small company; family own. He stated he been doing plumbing for 13 years. I do feel I paid too much for this job.

Service went well. I received a call from the provider literally seconds after I put the request through Angie's List (which was before 7am). I made an appointment for later that day to have a sink back up issue checked out. Martin made sure it was ok with my schedule to possibly come early, then called when they were on the way. He quickly identified the problem and gave me a quote. He and his partner cleared the drain and cleaned up the mess afterward (even using some cleaner to mop up with). Paid and received my receipt via email on the spot.

They arrived and diagnosed the problem and identified it as a clogged drain and the quickly fixed the problem. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up the entire mess.

Faucets were replaced, but had to come back because one was leaking. They fixed it. Charged me to fix toilet but did not fix it. Told to replace it, but it was calcium deposits, fixed it myself. Cost to much.

The technician arrived to replace a sump pump. The job was completed in less than an hour. Technician was knowledgeable, pleasant and answered all questions to my satisfaction.

Was an absolute NIGHTMARE and a miserable experience working with Martin Markham at Mr and Mrs Plumbing from Commercial Point Ohio. Paid them almost 5k to do a rough in at a house im renovating, he was always demanding checks after he told me he wouldn’t collect any money up front. We paid him in full almost 4 weeks ago and now he will not return to finish the job that we have a contract from him in writing after he gave me his word if I paid him in full he would finish the job. He is now demanding more money claiming he did a refrigerator line that was not included in the quote, but in fact he told me he would throw that in for free if I went with his quote and we actually had a conversation where I was asking him to add that to the quote before he started working and he never did and he said “I needed to trust him”. Now that the final check has cleared the bank he keeps telling me he will “DO ME A FAVOR” and show me how to finish the job. He called for inspection and still had 10 hours of work to do and was running around chasing down leaks, he literally replaced 1 connection 3 times because it was leaking until his wife finally read the PVC glue bottle and told him they needed to let it setup for 24 hours. When the inspector showed up he failed the job and Martin actually told me he “HOPED HE DIDN’T CATCH THAT”. The sad thing is he is our neighbor and told me on numerous occasions “Im your neighbor do you think I will **** you over” which is exactly what he did. He is NOT a man of his word, and is very cocky and arrogant with nothing to back it up, he doesn’t know any of the building codes and makes BOLD statements constantly where his facts are NOT correct and it just shows his ignorance! On 1 occasion he actually told me he was going to go in the house and “rip out all the plumbing” and at that time he was paid probably 80%. He is a mediocre plumber with a horrible bad attitude. It was a struggle for me to decide to put this review out there since he is our neighbor but I felt obligated to let people know about him since we based using him off of his internet reviews before we even realized we were neighbors. If he will do all of this to a neighbor what do you think he will do to you. I have asked him thru texting on several occasions what I and my wife have ever done to him to deserve this kind of treatment and of course he never gives a reply. I finally decided enough was enough and have hired another plumber to finish the job. After our last text conversation I told him to never step foot back on my property again. BEWARE! You Have Been Warned!

Very good. Very professional and described exactly what they would do and even added some extra parts at no cost. Looks great and very happy with results.
