Description of Work: The asphalt service that they provided was sub standard, period! We had cracks in our blacktop less than 1 year later, especially above the NEW CULVERT PIPE at the street and along the sides of our 160' plus drive. THIS WAS ABOUT A 13,000 dollar job and it is crap!!! Steve lights wife is the phone answerer, aka secretary,,,the woman would never pick up the phone because of caller I.d., even when I was sitting on their business property and I knew full well she was there, not answering the phone on 25 occasions, I HAVE PHONE RECORDS OF THIS!! Because they TOOK ME FOR A LOT OF MONEY AND DID A BAD PAVING JOB, PERIOD!!! I have had 3 other Clermont county reputable paving contractors look at lights job on my premises and tell me,,,,,HE SHOULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB THAN THIS!!! After 3 months of complaining to HIS cell phone, he finally showed up at our home and ""I DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY A WORD"". My wife ripped him a new bottom! Before I could get a word in... by the time he left, you could see in his eyes, he knew he messed the job up, but he was really p.o'd at US for calling him out on the BAD JOB!!! We even have a GOOD friend that is part owner of BROWN COUNTY ASPHALT CO. that visits us, HE EVEN TOLD US THAT THEY DID A BAD JOB ON OUR DRIVE!!! We are reaching retirement age,,we figured we would treat ourselves to a much needed new driveway for our golden years. WE HAD NO IDEA THAT WE WERE TREATING OURSELVES TO BE ""TAKEN BY A SERIOUSLY SUB STANDARD COMPANY!!!"" |PLEASE BE ADVISED!!! |DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WM. LIGHT PAVING OR WM.LIGHTCO. !!!PERIOD!!"

Description of Work: After they paved the driveway in July of 2013, we discovered that a section of the new culvert pipe that they replaced had moved out of place severely, they came out A MONTH later, cut our new asphalt and repaired the culvert pipe,,we had a nice big " PATCH" at the end of our driveway, not to mention both sides of the drive were REALLY CROOKED! Steve light agreed to come and re pave on 10/4/13 and did. Now, the second coat of pavement has big cracks running the length on both sides. We have called at least 20 times and they will not answer or return calls.They will not even reply to emails.We are totally disgusted with the way they have handled our paving project!!!

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate to replace our asphalt driveway.

Description of Work: I contacted them to come give us a quote to get a new asphalt top put on. After two weeks of not hearing from them, I called them again and he told me that he would come out to do the measurements that day and would email me the quote. I never received the quote.

Description of Work: He paved our long driveway.

Description of Work: Installers placed 25 tons of crushed limestone, graded and compacted driveway and coated with tar and chip.
