AWESOME! This company is owned and run by a married couple, Mark and Brandy (sorry, I don't know their last name). I arranged the initial visit over the phone with Brandy, who set it up for later that same week. Mark arrived as scheduled and promptly went to work, assessing and measuring. He was very tolerant about my three dogs, who think everyone came to play with them - they can be a nuisance, but he was very nice about it. Brandy called me within an hour of Mark leaving to gve me an estimate. As soon as I paid the 50% down, she ordered the glass and it arrived in just a few days. She called me and we set up the installation for that same day! Mark arrived with an assistant and they got right to it. The new glass looked great and they literally left the place cleaner than they found it! No kidding! When my husband got home and inspected their work (and I DO mean INSPECTED - my husband is quite savvy about the quality of building trades-type work; he is detail-oriented and picky picky picky). The verdict? My husband was extremely satisfied with their work, to the point that he called the shop right away and thanked them for the excellent job they had done. My husband even asked them to fax one of their business cards to his office (he's an attorney) so he can easily refer others to them for their glass needs (which they gladly did). A week or so later, while dusting, I knocked my 8and quot; x 10and quot; wedding photo off the mantel and the glass in the Delft frame shattered. I took it to Citywide's shop and showed it to Brandy. She took it to Mark, who was working in the back and emerged about 10 minutes later with a shiny new piece of glass set in the frame protecting my precious wedding photo. and quot;No charge, and quot; she said. and quot;We already had the glass and it didn't take him any time at all.and quot; Wasn't that nice? I was thrilled. One more thing - i have to mention that four (4) other companies came out and insisted that these broken panes could not possibly be replaced without replacing the whole window, which would be ungodly expensive and would probably necessitate replacing every window in the house so it wouldn't look unmatched from the outside. Citywide Glass was able to replace just the broken panes, saving us a great deal of money. Citywide Glass is a GEM!
Description of Work: Citywide Glass replaced five (5) windows in my house; three (3) were panes from the double-pane type, two were regular windows. They also replaced the glass front in a small tea cabinet (it was cracked) and the glass in a Delft picture frame that holds our wedding photo.
