Description of Work: I could never get my appointment with this company scheduled. They were supposed to come to my address and do the detailing at my home. The story was that there had been such an incredible response from the Great Deals from Angies that they could not get everyone scheduled. They extended the time limit on the coupon but then told me that I would have to go to their shop. I requested that Angie's List give me my money back and they did.

I was completely delighted with the results of these services! The window tinting looks awesome and comes with a lifetime warranty. And the rest of the car was cleaned very thoroughly and looked great too. Very professional crew and knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend them for any detailing or window tinting needs or any of the other services they provide.
Description of Work: I had the 2 front windows tinted to match the back ones along with a strip on the windshield tinted, plus a detail (exterior wash and buffed and interior cleaned).

I will never use this company and will not recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Purchased a Groupon for this business. Left three voicemails, sent four emails, and submitted two forms on their website to never get a call back for service. When I finally did reach them, the gentleman told me it was past their season and I'd have to call back in the spring to reschedule. Needless to say, I ate the $35.00. Cut my losses and moved on.

We bought a groupon for car detailing for $35. It expired last October, but the company said they'd honor it because they couldn't get us in. One day last fall they were supposed to show up; they failed to show up. Later they called and said they were too busy. We got the car detailed by a more reputable company, but wanted to make sure we were able to use this groupon. So we resccheduled with Cettified for March 13. Guess what? They didn't come. We are planning our next steps, which may involve reporting them to the Ohio Attorney General's office for fraud.
Description of Work: No services - we bought a groupon and they failed to show up. Twice.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this company, for a Mobile Interior Auto Detailing. The expiration was for Jan. 28, 2012. Knowing the coupon was about to expire the next day, I called on a Friday to schedule the service for my car. No answer, so I left a message on their answering machine. I did not receive a call back, so I called them again on Monday, fully expecting they would honor my voucher as I had placed the call prior to the coupon’s expiration. Much to my surprise, I was told the voucher had expired and I could contact Angie’s List to try to get a refund. My request to have it honored was instantly met with rudeness, belittling and condescending remarks. “You’ve had the voucher since AUGUST, and you waited till the last minute! We stopped doing mobile detailing weeks ago before the weather got cold, and won’t offer it again till the Spring.” I asked him why they had the voucher run beyond the date they could offer the “Mobile” detailing, and he said they were telling customers to come out to their location for the detailing, as the voucher says “weather permitting”. [Bait and switch?] I said I would be happy to wait till the Spring, and he again chastised me for “waiting till the last minute”. I told him there’s nothing “last minute” about a valid voucher, as I should only need to set up the appointment before the expiration. He repeated, “The voucher has expired. Talk to Angie’s List about a refund.” There was NO desire on his part to reach any level of customer satisfaction, but instead raised his voice, talked over me and refused to discuss it further. I have NEVER been treated this badly as a customer. I told him I was going to write a review of my dissatisfaction on Angie’s List, and he threatened, “Be careful what you write, because we’re going after false reviewers.” I assured him I would only speak facts and truths. With that, he hung up on me.

I called a day or so after I got my Angie's Deal and was told by the woman at Certified Detailers who answered the phone that they had so many responses to the coupon they couldn't schedule me at that time and to call back later. I waited a month or so and called again. Since no one answered the phone I left my name and number and asked them to return my call. Again I waited a month or so and again tried calling, and again there was no answer, so again I left my name and number. The fourth time I called, Mike answered the phone (I was thrilled to finally speak with someone) and told me they were no longer coming to residences due to the change in weather and I would have to come to them. I got the address, 1105 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH - which, according to Google Maps, is a 43 minute drive from my home. I couldn't come right at that time due to my husband being out of town and the car being at the airport. He told me they weren't busy right now, to just call the day before I wanted to come and I could get the car in. I verified this and he again told assured me that if I called him on Sat., he would get me in on Monday. I decided to wait until after the holidays, so I called today, Jan. 3rd. I spoke again with Mike. He immediately told me I'd have to wait until next week. This was my 5TH attempt to get my husband's car in to have it detailed. I admit I was upset when I was once again unable to get the car in - having expected to be able to get it in immediately. My husband will again be on a business trip and not only be unavailable to pick me up (they want it for the day), but the car will be parked at the airport! Frustrated, I told Mike I was "p*****" and that I had tried on 4 other occasions to get an appointment. Mike asked me what he was supposed to do, since I was "telling him how to run his business". He wasn't going to put off a "regular" customer for an Angie's List customer when he had "regular" customers scheduled. (I would have appreciated him just trying to work me in some way.) He said he was telling other List members that he would extend the deadline from the end of Jan. to sometime in April. But he didn't like that I was "running his business down[verbally]" and he didn't appreciate being talked to the way that I was. I admit, I was extremely frustrated. This was meant to be a gift to my husband. Other than using the word "p*****" I was respectful - argumentative, because he didn't seem to understand my side of the situation and I kept trying to tell him I shouldn't be put off again. I finally told him I was having such a bad experience that I'd rather have my money refunded. Then I recanted saying I was willing to wait until April. At that point he told me that he didn't have to extend the deadline, that he could just let it expire on the deadline. To be threatened was the last straw. I asked for a refund. I explained that I would contact Angie's List and he said that was fine, that he had recorded the conversation and he would also be in touch with them. He told me to contact Angie's List for my refund. FYI - a sincere apology and the offer to extend the coupon until April at the beginning of the conversation would have made me happy enough to wait. Still frustrated, but not so much I'd ask for my money back as I REALLY wanted to do this for my husband. I have NEVER been spoken to the way this way when dealing with anyone as a customer. I received NO apology, NO willingness to try to relieve my frustration - just a lecture on how I was misbehaving and how he'd never had another customer that was not happy with him or talked to him as I had. I find this hard to believe after my experience. Thankfully Angie's List was extremely understanding and is refunding my money. My husband and I own a business and would NEVER treat a customer in this manner. Mike has a lot to learn about dealing with customers - happy or unhappy.

I called yesterday and reached Certified Detailers and made an appointment for 2 PM today. When I arrived they were just finishing up two other cars. At 2:15 they started cleaning my car and were finished by about 3:45. Exterior and interior looked very good.
Description of Work: I had a coupon for a mobile automobile detailing but instead I drove to their new location in Withamsville. There they thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside of my two-door Honda Civic. I had an appointment for 2:00. By 3:45 they were finished. They did an excellent job.

I have the same story as the other poor reviews. We purchased a Groupon in April but waited till August to schedule an appt (Groupon didn't expire until October). After weeks of leaving messages with no replies (Voicemail was also full for a while where no messages could be left) we were finally able to get an appt scheduled for late October. The appt was cancelled due to weather (I don't blame the company for the weather). When I called to reschedule, no one was around again to speak with. When I was finally able to reach someone there was nothing else they could do until March because that was when then mobile unit was back running or I could bring it to their shop. The point of the service was that they come to you. Truthfully I would probably just let this go but because of the very rude approach of the person I spoke with, I wanted to voice my concern for others. The excuse I kept receiving and have read in other spots was that they were "very busy" because of all of the Groupons sold. I have requested a refund from Groupon but since it is now expired I am not holding my breath. If I don't receive the refund, I will not be rescheduling because I would rather waste the money than have to deal with them any more.
Description of Work: No services were ever performed since they were unable to be reached and appts cancelled.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal on Angie's List for this company. I have had a bad experience from the get-go. It was extremely difficult getting the appointment scheduled from the very beginning. There is only one phone number I'm aware of, and that one doesn't have an option to speak to anyone. You have to leave a message and hopefully someone will call you back. I did in-fact finally get an appointment scheduled for November 19th, and they told me they would arrive between 10 and 11 on that day. Today is the 19th, and so I spent the morning getting my vehicles cleared out in order to be ready for their arrival. Ten o'clock came and went and then 11:00 came and went and no certified detailers arrived. Unfortunately, I have already paid for this deal or I would just cancel this. ALL I want at this point is my money back. The thing I care about more than my money is that I didn't spend time with my nieces today because of this appointment that was scheduled. Unfortunately, that is just a loss. I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone as my experience has been nothing but bad.

When I first called in early August, an annoyed gentleman said I had to call back in a week because they had such a large response to the Groupon and Angie's List promotion. When I called back the week of Aug 8th , they said that the first available time slot was 6 weeks away (today, September 22nd). While waiting 6 weeks for the service wasn't ideal, I scheduled the appointment anyway since the money had already been spent. I then called during their stated business hours (which no one ever answered the line) on 9/21 to verify the appointment and then on 9/22 in the morning for the 11am scheduled appointment. No one ever answered the phone and the voicemail was still full. I am typically very positive in my reviews (active on TripAdvisor, AngiesList, etc), but this customer service experience has been terrible. I called Angie's List to get a refund on this deal and then 3 hours later I received a voice mail from Certified Detailers saying they wanted to reschedule the appointment. I tried calling them back - and, not surprisingly, no one picked up the phone and the voicemail was full.
Description of Work: Similar to another review on here, I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" for Certified Detailers on August 1st, 2011.

I purchased an express detail for my car through Groupon on April 9, 2011. I needed the car clean to transport my wedding dress for my May wedding. After quite a bit of phone tag (me leaving multiple messages and them leaving 1) I learned that due to the volume of response they received from their groupon, Certified Detailers could not schedule my appointment in time (wait was 3-4 weeks from call). I tried again in late June and was scheduled for August 10. On August 10, I was left a voicemail saying that they were canceling my appt and I needed to call and reschedule. I called and left a message on 8/10. I called and left another message on 8/11. Being aggravated, I called again late in the afternoon on 8/11 and was told (curtly) that their scheduler wasn't there and they'd return my call as soon as they could. I left another message on 8/12. Since I had already paid them (and they had issued another type of coupon in August) I wanted to get my car scheduled ASAP to avoid another long wait. I never received a call back. On 8/16, I gave up and contacted groupon for a refund, which they gave me easily.
Description of Work: The service was called "express detailing" to be performed at a location of my choosing (off of city street) on my car.

We found Certified Detaliers through a Groupon offer. It took some time to get the appointment scheduled, played a little bit of phone tag. Some of the delays in response were from them, and to be fair, some were from me. We were not in a hurry, so it wasn't a big deal, but i thought it was worth mentioning. Sometimes Mike seemed a little bothered during discussions, but they always ended with a clear understanding of what was going to happen. On the day of the service, I was not here, but i did see the end result. They took our van from having a fair amount of dirt and dust from a year of heavy use with two little kids to looking like it was brand new. Amazing quality of work. There was some challenge getting all of the power and water hooked up, and there was some confusion about how to use the groupon, but at the end of the visit, we had a brand new van.
Description of Work: Full/Deep interior car cleaning and detailing.
