Description of Work: They replaced some exterior wood siding and exterior wood trim molding that were damaged and rotten. BTS was great to work with. They showed up as promised, completed the work in one day and cleaned up everything. They were very professional and did professional work. I would definitely use BTS again.

 + -1 moreBob and I discussed the area to be remodeled and the specifics. He put up the drywall with the primer coat, canned lights and two sets of light switches. He installed entryway tile. We had a carpet company lay the carpet. Less than a year later, I had Bob add a full bathroom in an adjoining space. He contracted out some of the plumbing work. Bob is always very tidy, neat and clean and professional.

 + 1 moreThough I called BTS Contracting Inc they did not follow up, they did not give me a quote. They were fine. They came out, they talked, they did the stuff but I was surprised that they did not get anything back.
Description of Work: I called BTS Contracting Inc to get a quote for them to install a door enclosed in the kitchen, getting patio doors on the deck, renewal of a major weight bearing wall. They were to close up kitchen and door and have an entry from dining room to the kitchen. To install French doors in the dining room, to build a wood patio and deck on the back yard.

 + -1 moreUnlike some other companies from whom I requested estimates, Bob came over to the house to view the site and discuss with us what we wanted the finished deck to look like. Since I had built my own deck at my previous home, Bob provided 3 estimates with various degrees of completeness and using different materials. Ultimately I decided, for the price, to have BTS do all the work so I could spend my summer enjoying rather than building my deck. Once the contract was signed, BTS showed up promptly on the agreed upon day and in 4-5 days the deck was complete. When the job was finished, they did a very thorough cleanup...including clearing some of my remodeling debris which needed to be removed. My wife was impressed with their promptness, friendliness, and consideration. My chocolate lab loved to supervise, and they didn't seem to mind. I must admit I am impress with the quality of the craftsmanship. Being somewhat of a perfectionist, I have never paid a contractor to do what I could do myself, to my own level of satisfaction. I am determined to find something to complain about, but so far, having looked at the materials, construction, mitre joints, final sanding, etc. I'm still looking. Over the next year or so there are several other projects with which I will need a contractor. BTS will definitely be given every consideration. I would highly recommend.
Description of Work: BTS, at our request, built a 20 ft x 14 ft, irregular shaped deck. The site required some leveling of the dirt, completed with a bobcat. Construction consisted of sinking 8 concrete piers as a foundation for the beams and replacing a length of bandboard where the deck anchored to the house. The decking is Trex composite with cedar railings.

I contracted BTS Contracting to remove the small deck the builder provided and build a custom deck with plans that I had provided. The deck was a composite material. The work was completed in less than 2 weeks and I was highly satisified with their work!
Description of Work: BTS Contracting built a large custom deck on the back of my home. The work performed was outstanding and the quality of the workmanship was great as well. I have used this company many times for various projects and will continue to use them in the future. I have even used them as the General Contractor for my business (2200 square foot build-out) and will use them to build the next 2.

I would use BTS Contracting in the future and have used them for several other projects for my personal and business addresses.

Description of Work: We have worked with BTS Contracting on a number of projects updating our home. Our first experience with BTS was 1 year ago. We wanted to update our 1st floor family room by removing paneling and wooden ceiling beams with a ceiling stucco finish. We also wanted to update and re-surface the existing fireplace. BTS came to our home and expertly removed the old materials (paneling, drywall, beams) the first day. Work continued daily until the job was finished (3 weeks approx). BTS also designed and build a custom mantle and hearth. We were so happy with the professionalism, attention to detail and finish work that we asked them to do some finish work on our basement (re-design, drywall, lighting, shelving area). Based on our first project with them, we were not suprised at how well the basement/studio turned out. More recently, we asked BTS to fix some warped wood window sills. These wooden sills are 45 yrs old and the screens could no longer fit and attach. We thought we were going to have to replace our entire windows, but BTS assessed the situation and re designed the window frame without removing the frame or window. We had 4 windows done, all now have screens and we are confident in the work they did. We appreciate that BTS employees listen to what your needs are and even your design suggestion and incorporate everything together in the project. Yes we will definitely do more work with them in the future.

Description of Work: BTS construction has been our go to service since 2008 we had a basement finished which was approximately an 80,000 for a finished basement complete with full kitchen theater room full bathroom, very professional easy to work with reasonably priced, very knowledgeable makes good recommendations. Another time we were on vacation and our sump pump quit working and he basement flooded he came over cleaned up mess and installed sump pump with backup. We've used him for numerous large household projects and he always does a great job and very clean. He will be doing another large project for me in the next week, He and his employees are very easy to work with and clean and very respectful, I can't say how much we like working with him, and he's always able to get to the project when I call him within a week or two. He's good about picking up products for me, which is wonderful and has gone out of his way to offer extra help without being asked. Its been a pleasure working with him over the years, we usually have several projects a year. Sincerely, Happy customer

 + -1 moreThis company was suggested by a couple different building product suppliers, one of which is very careful about suggesting anyone due to liability issues. this alone spoke volumes about the company and their integrity. The owner ( Bob Lally ) came on site, provided me a cost on a the design that we had for the deck. I had a few requirements from a strength and design perspective. I had also applied and obtained the proper building permits in advance. This seemed to chase off a couple contractors i had contacted prior to contacting BTS Bob not only met the design and strength requirements, he exceed in all categories. This was reflected by the building inspector when he passed the structure, he also commented on the quality of work that was preformed on the framing and the finish product. My friends have had different comments on the size and how it is put together, but most of them have a similar comment. " This is built to stay up for a long time. " and they can't believe how solid it feels when your on it BTS was on time, delivered quality and a very competitive price. I would strongly recomend this company for any work you may have. They care about you and your needs

We have used them on several other projects and the continue to impress us with their superior craftsmanship and outstanding work ethic. Bob and Chris have become our "GO TO" guys for any/all projects. They are absolutely the "BEST"!
Description of Work: BTS completely removed old siding installing appropriate underlayment and reinstalling new vinyl siding and trim.. They also removed windows and replaced them with new vinyl windows and completed all the necessary trim work. . .

They asked for input about placement of lights, fixtures, etc., informed of any unexpected issues that came up, and offered options of ways to complete the job. Therefore, they kept the homeowner involved in the decision process. The job turned out great. The floor tile work was perfect. I would recommend this company to others. (Actually, I already have.) BTS Contracting Inc. is a good company.
Description of Work: The job involved redoing two bathrooms. The floor tile was replaced. The vanities were replaced. An exhaust fan was put in. Ground fault plugs were installed. Towel bars and holders were removed. Dry wall was patched. A large mirror was framed and hung. Wall cabinets were installed. Ceiling fixtures were replaced. Tile in the shower was regrouted.

Description of Work: We used BTS Contracting because we had a problem with the band board around our house that was allowing water to come in our house. They took down the band board that wraps around our house and replaced it. They also built flashing above and below it so water could no longer come into our house.

 + 6 moreEvery house that BTS has renovated for us has sold within a matter of weeks (if we were renovating to sell) or rented immediately (if we were renovating it to hold as a rental). We are very picky about the quality of work and any time there has been something that need a small change or touch up, BTS has corrected the problem immediately and without complaining. We will continue to use them as needs arise in the future.
Description of Work: BTS has performed general contracting work for us for about 5 years now. We've probably spent $30-$50K with them over this time. We are professional home renovators and need contractors who will show up when they say they will, do quality work, and give us a fair price. I would trust all employees of this company with a key to my house.
