ALL CLEAN CHIMNEY SWEEP LLC

We could not turn on our furnace until our collapsed chimney was cleaned out. We had four services look at our chimney. All quoted a spectum of rates from $2000-$5000 to fix our situation. It was suggested to drill into the side of our home to access the collapsed bricks in our chimney. We had one Chimney Masonery service begin the work. If it did not work with them, we were relegated to do a "reroute" out the side of the home to vent our furnace by the end of October as the weather turns cold. Two hours into the job, they were still knocking at the pipe in the basement. When they saw the magnitude of the collapse, they "had to go to another job". We called Mr. Greene with All Clean Shimeney Sweep from the BBB. He had an entheusiasm and zest to find the problem. He offered a strategy for saving money after viewing our chimney and all 5 of our fireplaces. Seems he comes from a long line of family chimney sweeps. His specialty is UNCLOGGING CHIMNEYS IN HISTORIC HOMES. It took him two hours and he used a clean system to sweep the debris after completion of the job. He followed-up the next day unprompted with additional ideas to do a reline & cap of our chimney. He even said,' If I were you, I would never let anyone sweep these chimneys. Just keep them open. You have a clean burning furnace and should never need a chimney sweep.' How honest is that? I contend this guy should bill himself as an unclogger and liner of chimneys too. He is knowledgable and honest. BTW We tipped him $40. This was 20% of his final bill of only $214. Blessings, Kyle Vaughn.
