They were very excellent. Everything that they did was great. They did a good job. They came on time, professional, did what they were suppose to do, and everything was great. They stand with everything that they do. They are the best.

I had to pay to have an inspection done by someone in the county to make sure it was okay to have the electric restored to the cottage and they told me I had to have some very minor work done to the electrical box. They said that there were two 15s that needed to be changed to 20s. I also had to have two ground lines run six feet apart. I had another contractor that said they could do the work and had already started work on the electrical box, but then I found out that the work had to be done by a licensed electrician which he was not. With some of that done, they charged too much as I had someone else that said they could do the work for around 100 dollars. Eventually the work was done. They are expensive. They have a 85 dollar trip charge. I only had contact with them by phone. The work was fine. They were able to do the work quickly. I was shocked when I went down into the basement to see what they had done and I saw the 15s that were supposed to be changed, had yet been changed. So he came out the next morning and said no that it had been done correctly. He did come out to make sure that whatever needed to be done was done correctly.

It went great! The installers were friendly & professional. They cleaned up everything as they went.

They were so much less money than my previous quote as well. A super great value from a great company. And they let me use an Angie's List coupon too.

Dan Fair came out to give me an estimate and suggested several options I had not considered. He was personable and professional and there was no "hard" sale to get me to accept his suggestions. The next day I got a call to schedule my appt. The woman was professional and pleasant and we scheduled it quickly for a date and time that worked for me. Nate and Tyler showed up on time and ready to work. Both men were extremely professional and pleasant. They took great care to complete the job efficiently without losing sight of the aesthetics involved in overhead lighting. And took the time to figure out how to best do the installation with minimal damage to my walls and ceiling. Everything was covered in plastic to minimize the mess and they cleaned up quickly and effectively. You would never have known anyone was in the house working. They explained everything they were doing and made sure i was agreeable to the approach they were taking. Having workmen in the house is something i generally dread. These gentlemen were a pleasure to have in my home and i would not hesitate to have them back to do work in the future. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Nate and Tyler were great! Very professional, down to putting booties on over their shoes and laying plastic on the counter tops to protect it. Every step was explained to me. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would definitely recommend them.

The two electricians arrived on time and went straight to work. They used state-of-the-art equipment, used drop cloths on the walls and floor areas where debris was expected, and cleaned up and vacuumed the work areas and left them as clean as before work commenced. They checked with us to make sure we were in agreement before proceeding with the work. They were extremely polite and well groomed. Fair Lighting and Electrical followed up to make sure we were satisfied and to make sure we had no problems with the completed work. We would not hesitate recommending them to our neighbors and friends. The only problem we had was finding them on Angie's List. They were not listed under electrical contractors in our area but we remembered seeing them advertised in your previous month's booklet. We feel very fortunate we found Fair Lightening and Electrical but we do not feel Angie's List made it easy.

The installer, Nate, was professional, courteous, and polite at all times. He cleaned up any mess that was made. We are very pleased with the work that was performed. We will be having them back to perform work at our son's house.

We had a GFCI electrical outlet in the master bathroom that would not reset. I had called just about every electrician listed on Angie's List with no one wanting to return my call. About 5 minutes after I left a message with Fair Lighting and Electrical I received a return call. I was asked about the details of my electrical problem and was told that I could expect another call back from an electrician who was in the area. I received another call about an hour or so later and the electricians said they could address the problem in about 20 minutes. I told my wife that they will probably show up in an hour at the soonest. I was pleasantly surprised that they showed up exactly 20 minutes later. As soon as they showed up they stood in the doorway and placed shoe covers over their shoes before they even stepped onto the entryway rug. I have only had one other company ever do this and they have been top notch . While troubleshooting the other outlets on the same circuit they had to step outside on the deck. I appreciated the fact that again the shoe covers were taken off before stepping onto the deck and put back on before stepping back in the house. The problem was resolved by replacing the GFCI and was explained that since it wasn't anything major I would only have to pay for a service call and labor to install the new GFCI had on hand. They were very professional in their actions and demeanor! About a week later the new GFCI tripped and I was also unable to reset the new one. I was really confused and highly concerned that it may be the result of a major wiring issues that may have somehow happened. I called them back describing my problem. during the conversation they asked if the cover on the outside receptacle was in good condition. If it wasn't I could replace it myself. This would save another call that would be much more expensive since it would involve an in-depth diagnostics to determine the problem. I went outside and examined the receptacle cover noticing that some of the seal on one of the covers was severely worn and that the top of the weatherproof cover was not in good condition either. A trip to a local home improvement store resolved the problem by purchasing a new weatherproof cover and adding a bead of caulk to insure a waterproof seal. Several rainstorms later and we haven't had any problems! Their commonsense troubleshooting saved me a big out of pocket expense that I really didn't need.

They were prompt, clean and did a great job! My husband is an electrician on his off time and he said they did a fine job. They were fair with their price and very friendly! They work with the local electrical company (Ohio Edison) and allow for payments to be applied to your bill.
