Description of Work: I had raccoon babies in my chimney, they removed them and took them away, they set a trap on my roof for the mother so she would not try to find the babies, the only complaint I had with them was the trap they used to get the mother was lousy and the mother raccoon almost escaped, they should have put that trap in the garbage. The people were nice, except the receptionist was a bit rude at first but later apologized, end of story, the job got done and they were prompt.

When I called, I mentioned that two nights earlier I chased 3 raccoons out of my garage, and saw another 3 out in my driveway. The young lady who took the call explained that it was probably a family; juveniles will stay a year with their mother. They scheduled me for an inspection on Friday morning. (I called Wednesday.) The inspector would arrive anywhere from 10 am to noon. He arrived sometime after 11. He took a look around my house, and confirmed that I had sealed up any access points on my own. He also checked the roof and said that he saw signs of activity up there (paw prints) but no damage. He inspected my chimneys and said that one of my caps needed replacing, but that they would have to order it because it was an odd size. He set 2 traps and told me to call before 9 if I saw any raccoons (or other animals) in them, and that they would be removed that day. The next morning, there were 2 raccoon cubs in the traps. 2 days later, there was another one (I believe the mother). 2 days later, there were 2 more cubs. After 3 days of no captures, they removed the traps. I have yet to hear about a replacement chimney cap, but this is a minor matter. Critter Control quoted a price of $79 to remove a trapped adult raccoon, and $39 per cub. They were polite and got results.
Description of Work: Inspected my house for any vulnerable areas where raccoons could enter. Placed two traps. Captured 5 raccoons.

Description of Work: I had a skunk that made its home under a step near the front door of my house. I scheduled an appointment with Critter Control. They came out and set two traps. I had a skunk in the trap by the third day. They came back, removed the skunk without having it spray. Traps were left for a few more days to make sure there were no more. They made this process quick and easy.

One week the trap was knocked over by an animal. I called on a weekend and left a message to report that it needed to be reset. No response. Another time I called to make sure they got a phone message because nobody had come out to get the trapped animal. It was a bad weather day but they did not call to let me know anything. Every time I called to report an animal in the trap, I got voice mail. I rarely spoke to a real person. They usually left a status report on the door knob. Effective work but poor communication.
Description of Work: I called Critter Control to remove skunks that were living under our deck. At times the odor permeated the house. They responded in good time, assessed our situation ($149), and left a baited trap. Three skunks ($99/skunk) were trapped in the first 4 days. A fourth skunk was trapped about 10 days later. I was required to call Critter Control before 9:00am if I saw something in the trap. Due to snowfall (I think), the trap was wrapped in cardboard and duct tape. Luckily I could see enough of the back end of the trap to determine if something was in it - from our basement window and didn't have to go outside and walk around the house in February every morning for almost 5 weeks. After the 4th week, someone left a printed post-it note on the front door. It said the trap was removed and our service was completed. We were home at the time. I had smelled skunk 2 days before so I called and they agreed to return for another week. No more skunks were trapped.

I have had a squirrel get into my house twice. I hired critter control to find out howitzer is getting and prevent future entry. They did a quick inspection around he exterior and could not determine an entry point. Based on my description they determined the problem was flying squirrels and recommended putting traps on my roof. For any and every critter hey trap, it's $69 to have it removed/released. Very skeptical I approved the traps knowing it was probably going to cost a fortune because we live in a wooded area with lots of squirrels. Quite the contrary, in 2 weeks they caught nothing, removed the traps and I have absolutely nothing to show for $150 investment.

I was very happy with their work; it was excellent. Their pricing was extremely reasonable. They got the job done and took care of the area where the animal was able to get in. I haven't had any problems since.
Description of Work: I used this company for animal control. I had a raccoon that crawled in my attic and they were able to bait it and remove it. It was a no kill situation and they released it in the woods somewhere with them.

They were very responsive, honest, and straight forward. They were pretty reasonably priced. They removed whatever the animals that I needed to get rid off. I have used them a few times and I would recommend them to anybody. They came out pretty quickly. Actually, it was an emergency when I called them and they were very much willing to come out on an urgent basis. If there is a need, I would use them again in the future too.

The gentlemen was very nice and helpful to us since my husband was recovering from surgery and unable to do anything about it. They were very responsive when we had the chimney cap knocked off from a storm. I called them and because it was less than a year, they came out and replaced the cap. I will continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: I called this company to get rid of 3 baby raccoons that were in my chimney. I also had a problem with birds getting in the vents in our attic and they were able to put screens on the vents and capped our chimney. The work was guaranteed for a year.

I came home at noon to find a bad smell inside and outside. Discovered that there was a skunk down in a basement window well. The well is 4ft deep and it couldn't get out. I called Critter Control around 1:00PM; they were there by 2:30. The dispatcher reviewed the service call charge ($179) and the cost for animal removal ($89). After checking with other animal removal services in the area, I called back and requested service. Fortunately there was a technician in the area. Upon arriving and checking the situation; the technician (Charles) lowered a cage into the well and was able to extract the skunk within ten minutes. Very friendly and informative. He gave me tips to help eliminate the odor.
Description of Work: Removed skunk stuck down in window well.
