He was very nice when he came out gave suggestions for color etc. we wanted this done very badly but could not get an estimate from them. Still don't have it done

During our remodeling project, this was about the only part that when as planned. They were able to repair the floor (add flooring as the layout of our kitchen changed) sand, stain and seal in four days. AND with almost zero dust. I didn't believe it would be dust free, as the whole house was covered when we had the floors originally installed. It was about 95% dust free. Amazing. They came when they said they would - they finished when they said they would - and the final cost was lower than estimated. They are expensive, but totally worth it. If I ever have anything done to my hardwood floors again, they will be the only company I will use.

The estimator arrived about 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment and left without making contact with us. One of us was home and the other was in route from work. Estimator said he would call to reschedule when he was going to be in the area but we never heard from them again. I would have loved to give them the job. I guess they don't need the work too badly.

We loved the attention to detail and the expertise! The contractor was very knowledgeable and assisted us through many decisions such as stain and finish. Having the floors worked on in our main living area was an inconvenience yet he worked quickly and efficiently, keeping us informed of the process along the way. The floors are beautiful and as an added bonus we were also given good advice on the correct cleaning product. When it is time for the bedrooms to be refinished we will use this company again.

They did a superb job. Their price was about 20% higher, but they were also quickly available. I can't complain about the workmanship. It is just a gorgeous floor and the technician was a genius.

He came, spent time with us discussing our project, measured, left and told us we would get the quote in about a week. It never came. I guess he didnt need the work.

They did an excellent job. They spent the time to blend the refinished section with the unfinished sections. The stain they chose was a very good match. I would highly recommend them. A little expense, but well worth it.

It went very well. I used them twice. They did what they said. The second time was especially fabulous.

They did an amazing job. My floors are beautiful. They were responsive, they finished on time and the quality of the work was amazing. The only complaint I have is: they moved my fridge to fix the floor underneath, they put it in the garage and they were supposed to put it back. They came finish the job and guess what? My refrigerator was sitting in the garage after they left. I had to call them and tell them to come and put it where it belongs. They did, then I realized they just put it there without connecting the water, which was connected before. It's just a minor thing, but still leaves you with a bad impression.

Very satisfied with the finished floor! Stain color matches perfectly to previously done hardwood floor in hallway, no indication that the areas were done at different times. Instructions on how to care for my floors were also given which was very helpful.

They were expensive. They were a very good company. They were very professional and did not leave a mess. I highly recommend. They are not the cheapest in town but I think they are probably the best. We would use them in the future.

The owner was very friendly. They were very responsive. I thought they gave me a fair price.

Williams Flooring did excellent work. They matched the wood and the staining/urethaning so well the floor looks like it is the original. The job required four separate visits to complete the work. They were always on time. They responded to any comments and suggestions we made. We could not be more pleased with the result.

Everything went great. They bring a truck out to vaccum up all the dust afterward. It was the cleanest job ever and they did great service. I can't complain about any of it except that it took a long time but we figured it came with the job. The result was amazing.

I have extremely mixed emotions about my experience with Williams Hardwood Flooring. Williams Hardwood has a beautiful showroom in Akron, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable. There is no doubt that Jim from Williams Hardwood is the most knowledgeable person I came across as we researched hardwood floors. My wife and I went to their showroom one Saturday, and Jim very quick determined exactly what we were looking for (we did not know exactly what we were looking for until Jim walked us through it). We were so impressed, we asked Jim to come out and give us a quote. As we left the store, I told my wife that I would be willing to pay a premium based on our experience. Jim came out on a Tuesday - unfortunately, he ended up being an hour late. It then took more than 2 weeks and repeated phone calls before a quote showed up in the mail. It was for more than $7000 - almost twice the amount of the contractor we ended up choosing (and a near "apples to apples" comparison in product and service. Jim ended up calling approximately a week after the quote arrived to follow up - I truly get the impression that my job was too small for their company, as it was not even in the ballpark. If that was the case, I wish the company would have told me that before giving us an estimate.

Very pleased with the final results they came in the first day sanded, were on time With the no dust sanding there was minimal dust (we just had the carpets cleaned and the walls painted) when they stained and varnished we had to vacate the house for 3 days, that was the only inconvenience

Initial meeting with the Williams Flooring sales rep was very professional and friendly. It took about 3 days to hear back from Tony on a quote for the job. After a week of negotiations, we were able to agree on a price. It took longer than I would have liked to finally agree on a price, but we were able to schedule the start of the job to begin the following week. They came on time every day, and even came to work on a Saturday, which exceeded my expectations. The job was completed a day earlier than anticipated. We enlisted in their Dustless Evacuation System, which was phenomenal. It did cost $600 extra, but it was very much worth it. Although, their price is higher than most others, they were worth every penny.

Ron Casto, sales, came promptly and submitted the offer within a day. Scheduling the work was more difficult. The first opening they had was 6 weeks after they submitted the offer, so you need to allow for a long lead time. The work was done in a very professional manner. Their workers are friendly, reliable and on time. The floor looks great, with a deep, rich satin finish.

MR. CASTO GAVE ME SOME TRULY USEFUL ADVICE ON HOW I COULD IMPROVE THE LOOKS OF THE STAIRS WITHOUT HAVING TOO MUCH WORK DONE PROFESSIONALLY ON THEM. FOR THE ROOMS, HE LOOKED VERY THOROUGHLY AT THE FLOORS, BASING HIS ADVICE ON WHAT HE SAW.

EXCELLENT QUALITY, VERY PROFESSIONAL ESTIMATE PROCESS. THE COMMUNICATION ABOUT SCHEDULING SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER, BUT I WAS PLEASED WITH THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE.
