Whitmers Lighting

The lights are wonderful and the installers did the best they could given the order was inaccurate and incomplete. The first time installers came out they could only hang a few lights because the sales order had many errors. Every bulb brought was the wrong color (yellow, rather than white). I found out I needed to hire an electrician to do extra work to make the installation possible. The track light came without a power adapter. Extra parts were ordered which had to be returned for credit. I'm still awaiting one bulb, with no indication when it will be available (the company will not communicate with me). I called the office to ask to speak with the owner about my experience and was told the only person who would speak with me was the owner's wife and I should email her and ask her to contact me. I did so and, after 10 days, she has yet to call or return my email. The lights are beautiful. The installed fan makes noises at medium speed. The inaccuracies on the order, the need to hire an electrician, the company's refusal to answer my question about the missing bulb (which has been paid for) and the owner's wife ignoring my request to talk makes me give an overall rating of D for this company.

Was told it would come in in 2 -4 Weeks. After six weeks i called to ask where it was. They said it was in and would be installed in 2 weeks. Approximately three weeks later it was finally installed. It took 15 minutes to install, so that works out to $480/hr. Pricey! I would not buy anything from them again.

The lamp repair shop I used to go to said they couldn't fix my lamp, so I searched Angie's List for another lamp repair shop on the west side. I went to the North Olmsted store, and they fixed my lamp. It is working great! Very pleased!

The price was fair and they did a good job.

It went very well. They worked with me on finding the right lights and the installer was very good. Whitmer's is on the expensive side but worth it if you need to talk to someone who knows lights and can give advice.
