+ -1 moreLance and Brian arrived right on time and got right to work. They stopped for a break and to take a lunch but were careful to tell me that those times were not included in the time I was paying for. I gave the price a "B" because Two Men and a Truck's price was somewhat higher than other companies I had called, for approximately the same time and manpower, but it was honestly worth it. I didn't have to worry about any of my items because Brian and Lance were very careful with them.
Description of Work: Lance Lostaglia and Brian James came from Two Men and a Truck. They had me walk them through the house to show them what should be moved. It was amazing how they remembered every item without writing them down despite being scattered all over the house. They were cheerful, quick, and carried heavy loads as if they were lightweights. They were even cheerful when I realized that there were some additional items that I had forgotten to point out to them that needed to be moved. Some of what they moved were two queen-size bedroom sets (beds, dressers, chests), two very large living room chairs (one a recliner), many, many boxes and wooden shelves. We would definitely hire Two Men and a Truck again, especially if we could be guaranteed to get Brian and Lance.

+ -1 moreI found them through an ad in the newspaper and I have used them twice already and they were just excellent. They were just great and they price was competitive. I have already referred them. The young men, who came out and worked for them, always introduced themselves, were polite, worked hard, and got the job done on time and without any breakage. The day before I moved they came during the day, packed all my stuff and moved it the next day and they put the furniture exactly where I wanted it, but I unpacked the rest of my stuff. I would use them again in the future if needed.
Description of Work: I used Two Men and a Truck Akron for moving services. I think they are a franchise with multiple businesses which are independently owned, but all adhere to a strict standard.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. The quote was for 5-7 hours, and it only took them 5. I think moving some of the boxes / irregularly shaped things ahead of time helped keep the costs down. The guys they sent were hard workers (I didn't see anyone standing around or hiding in the truck) and I was very pleased with the quality of their work. Obviously when moving, some boxes and whatnot will wind up in the wrong room (we didn't have the best labeling system), but there was nothing major that was a problem. None of our things was damaged in the move either, and they did no damage to either property. I'd recommend using them.
Description of Work: Two Men and a Truck (Akron) moved us from an apartment to a home we purchased. It was a local move (less than one mile, in fact) and they used two trucks and four men.

They were very good at putting all things in the proper rooms, asking about any pieces or boxes that were not clearly marked. They took great care not to damage anything, including walls and doorways. Great experience.
Description of Work: Moved from one home to another in same city. All packing done by me beforehand. Total of 6.5 hours with three men and one truck. Had to pay an extra $80 for a heavy safe. Two bedrooms, office, living room, family room, kitchen, sun room, deck, and patio. About 35 large boxes.

Description of Work: My son was moving into an apartment locally. We had living room and bedroom furniture and a few boxes that needed to be moved. I contacted Two Men and a Truck and they were able to accommodate my moving schedule and their prices was lower than another mover I contacted. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The two movers were very professional, friendly and worked very hard and quickly. I would definitely use them again.

They were really conscientious about where they put it in the truck, and how they strap it down protecting it. They did a really nice job.

The fact that the estimator who came to the house was thorough and explained all details carefully, and the movers Matt Milhoff & Brian James were courteous, careful, efficient and fun confirmed it was the right choice. Their great attitude made a very stressful time much easier.
