+ 0 moreRe-hanging my cabinets turned into a disaster. He threw away my old hinges, making it difficult to replace them - and they didn't all need to be replaced! He did not have tools with him, repeatedly asking for things such as screwdrivers, drill, drop cloth etc. He walked out on the job without completing it and shouted abuse at me from my front yard, frightening me, my young son, and our neighbors. I had to hire someone else to complete the job, and the new contractor ended up needing to repaint all the cabinets, as Joe used the wrong kind of paint for the job and did not adequately prep the cabinet surfaces.
Description of Work: I hired Joe to paint and re-hang my kitchen cabinets. He walked out on the job before it was complete, the same day that he asked for (and got) more money toward the project total. The total estimate was $1,200, of which I paid $800.
