+ -1 moreIt went very well, I am very pleased. They were very prompt. Scheduling went perfectly. There was a little problem with the light for one of the electrical burners on the stove. It took about a month for them to find the lightbulb to replace it, but they eventually got the light for me a month so it works now. They were very clean, good cleanup.
Description of Work: Fixed Light for stove. Fixed the mask that brings the power in from outside.

+ -1 moreCompany sent a worker out within 5 hours of our initial trouble call. A temporary fix was installed that night, and the worker informed us they could do the work, or use our own electrician. Workers who came out to do the actual digging (different people than the initial person) were polite, on time, and finished the job in a reasonable time.
Description of Work: Company rep came out at midnight to diagnose faulty underground lateral line, disconnected faulty cable and installed temporary line between transformer and meter. After getting a couple of estimates from private companies, we hired the Illuminating Co. to come back and dig up the faulty lateral and splice in a new section.

+ -1 moreWE CALLED THEM WHEN OUR ELECTRICITY WAS OPERATING ONLY IN HALF OUR HOUSE AND HEAT WAS OUT. I LEFT A MESSAGE ON THEIR AUTOMATED SYSTEM. I HAD MY DOUBTS THAT WE WOULD GET A PROMPT RESPONSE. WENT TO SLEEP 11PM. FIVE HOURS LATER, I AWOKE TO THE SOUND OF MEN OUTSIDE, WORKING IN SNOW, WIND AND COLD. THEY PUT IN AN AUXILIARY WIRE (TEMPORARY) SO OUR HEAT WOULD BE ON. IT ACTUALLY MADE ME TEAR UP THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO HELP IN SUCH HORRIBLE WEATHER CONDITIONS
Description of Work: THEY DUG A HOLE 3 FT. DOWN (SNOW, ICE ON TOP OF GROUND) AND REPAIRED ELECTRICAL WIRE TO HOUSE.
