Description of Work: Selby and his able assistant, Andrew did their annual furnace inspection and servicing, which also involved replacing the humidifier panel. Without me asking, Selby had Andrew clean out the dryer duct from the outside, which they had replaced for me about a year prior. It's just like Selby to make sure that something he worked on before in my house is functioning properly, without being prompted to do this or adding this to the cost for his work that particular day. I have never worked with a more ethical, capable, business-like yet warm and considerate professional in my home than Selby. (And I have lived here for over 26 years.) Selby and his assistants are THE BEST!

Description of Work: Very professional. I received good old customer service like it used to be. I should like to HIGHLY recommend this company. Fast, thorough, honest & reliable. He was on time and explained everything as he went along. I was very impressed and pleased with the service. They was very affordable. He replaced the fuse and showed me where it went and how to put in if I ever wanted to repair should it happen again. They checked hoses and connections too.

Selby brings a wealth of experience to the job. He showed me how I could push down harder on the lid to get the washer to work without replacing the switch. I decided to go ahead and have him replace it b/c eventually the lid wouldn't close and I'd pay for another service call($40) in the future. It was nice to have both options. A friend of mine also used Selby to fix her oven. She was very pleased with his work. This was important to me b/c the first call that I made to the answering machine was not returned. My friend reassured me that she got great service from Selby's Appliance Repair. When I explained this to Selby he apologized and told me that he has VM, a machine, and a live person to try and make sure that he gets all of the calls. (He had a very good turn around time in returning my call the second time. He was also flexible in rescheduling my appt. when I had to take my son to the doc.)The best number to reach him is 330-253-1844. This goes to his cell phone/pager.

When I called I explained the situation and he informed me it was due to the heat coming from the compressor and all I needed to do was to put something down to protect the floor.
Description of Work: I thought I was having problems with the compressor to the freezer because there was a discoloration on the vinyl flooring.
