My overall experience with James was excellent. After various contractors did not return phone calls or fail to provide a estimate, we got a recommendation to call James at Rubber City Drywall. Not only did James pick up the phone when I called but came out first thing the next morning to give an estimate. Regarding the work, I needed drywall installed over an existing plaster ceiling butted up against the existing crown molding. James did exactly what he said he was going to do - when he said he was going to do it. James completed project within the tight time frame that I needed. The quality of his work is excellent. I would recommend Rubber City Drywall to anyone needing a drywall project completed.

James first came to look at damage. Provided several options with approximate cost for each. We agreed on the work that needed to be done. James gave us a day and time that he would return and also a price he would charge for the job. Everything was done as agreed upon.

Did a nice job and cleaned up everything nicely before leaving the job.

James did an excellent job repairing the stress cracks and finishing the drywall through the kitchen. I was very pleased with his ability to blend the new ceiling texture into the existing texture, which was difficult to match. He was very punctual each day of the job and he communicated what he was doing throughout the process.

He was courteous and professional. The work looked great - even in an old 1927 house where nothing is even or level! He left the repair area spotless.

James came out promptly, sized it up, and he also suggested I keep looking for the right combination of talent and equipment. I was pleased with his promptness, his experience and his honesty and I would not hesitate to use him if the occasion arises.

From the beginning, this was the best experience we've had working with any contractor (and we have worked with over 20). James back immediately after I requested an estimate, and he came out 1 day later, and then began 3 days after that, as promised. He was always on time, and actually completed the job sooner than expected. The job was done way better than my what my expectations were- very impressed.

It was a wonderful treat to have someone who explained in detail what he would do, how he would do it and why. James was professional, personable and a hard worker. He went above and beyond what was expected. No complaints with his work. We will certainly keep him in mind for future projects and let everyone know he's the one to hire.

James did a great job. He was here when he said he would be he worked with me on times he stayed late several times he coordinated with the other contractors I hired to make sure everything was perfect. I have 2 very loving dogs who he also got along with so that is a plus. He does great work at a reasonable price and quickly also. I'd recommend him to anyone needing drywall related work.

James did a great job. He was very reliable and very professional. He called to confirm when he would be at our home, and he did an excellent repair job. Because the patterns in the two rooms were different, it's not a 100% match, but it is close enough that the average person will not notice it. The area over the sink though is matched up so well, even I couldn't tell. I would definitely recommend James and will use him again in the future.

James gave me exactly what I asked for: a quality, neat job at a reasonable price. He showed up on time, worked professionally and quietly, was open to any amendments that I had as the project developed, and he made suggestions and recommendations. As a result, I am completely satisfied with the services provided and how they were provided. I will be using James again as additional projects develop.

James was prompt in returning our initial phone call. He was out to evaluate and repair the drywall very quickly. It was only a 2 ft by 4 ft area so it was a very quick service. James was so nice and also professional. The wall is beautiful, smooth and even. I literally want to go punch holes in my other walls so he can make all my rooms looks as wonderful.
