Randy showed up on time and got right to work. Put 2 coats of paint on bathroom walls and it looks great. Very professional. Would definitely hire again

They showed up early at 7:30am, which I like to start early. They were willing to start later if I wanted. I liked the fact I really didn't have to do anything except tell them what needed painting, the color and pay. They took care of everything else. He said it would take 3 days and finished in 2 1/2.

Outstanding service, brought in a team of 6 to knock out the entire job in one day. Couldn't have asked for more, showed up early, pushed his team hard, and did an impeccable job. I would absolutely use them again.

He was very professional and did a nice job on the walls. When I purchased the $99 deal from Angie's list, it stated $99 to paint a room and fill in cracks or holes. I thought that was a great deal because I can no longer do the ceilings and it's hard to do all the trim. He came on a Saturday just like he said he would and painted the side walls and nothing more. My husband came home and asked if he was coming back to do the ceiling and trim, I said I don't think so. I guess the ceiling and trim are not included in the price. My husband noticed that the paint was pealing (before he painted) and instead of scraping the small area, he just painted over it and there is a small space between the outside door and hallway where it needed some plaster fill. If we would have known that this wasn't included we would have prepped the wall before he came. Now we have to scrape off the flaking paint, fill the whole and repaint the area. The painter did ask me if I wanted the ceiling painted in the same color that he put on the walls, but I told him no, I would prefer the white and he agreed, but never painted the ceiling. My husband was upset when he came home because he said he could have painted the flat walls himself (he is 71) but can't do the ceiling and trim anymore. I guess I should have done a better job reading the offer. I also paid him for the paint, that's why it's $20 more which I agreed to pay for beforehand. Sadly, I wouldn't use him again, but the quality of the work he did was good.

Mr. Martin did a great job. Timely, efficient, friendly and professional. We would have him do a job again without hesitation. The room came out perfect. Love dealing with the man who's name is on the side of the van. Thank you Mr. Martin.

This was a very positive experience. Randy stayed in close contact with me day by day b/c the job went more slowly b/c of all the rain we have had this summer. His workers were polite, quiet , and the job was excellent! My husband is very particular and was very impressed with the care they took and attention to detail. They filled in several holes in the wood on his shop building that were made by woodpeckers. They painted the deck floor with brushes to get the stain into each of the grooves. We have a large Tudor home and appreciated the attention to detail. Randy removed all the old stain and varnish on our front door and redid it completely so that it looks brand new- and our house is 28 years old. Randy is easy to work with, has a sense of humor, and is a perfectionist.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal over a year ago, and it had expired before I had need for a painter. After having work done on the room, I contacted Randy. He took the expired deal, no problem. He did a great job painting the room. He even patched a few spots and touched up the ceiling. Lastly, he put new switch plate covers on (no extra cost to me) so the room looks brand new! I would definitely call him again.

I did not have the work completed because they were outside of my service area.

He was terrific. He came over and painted my bathroom and he had this work done in about 3 hours. I picked out the paint. He could have done a little bit better with cleaning up, due to some splatters on the floor, but other than that he was great. He also give me an estimate for another job too, which I thought was a reasonable price.

He did a very good job and then cleaned up so that it looked like nobody had done the work. Would definitely use this man again!

Didnt want to paint the interior of the closet, despite having enough paint.

Painted a bedroom which took 2 coats of paint. He did a very nice job and I will be having him return to paint another area in the house.

He was very prompt, very courteous and did a fantastic job in just a short time. He was even able to fix something stuck in the window frame. I keep going in the room just to look at it. I can't wait for my daughter and grandsons to see it. A friend came over, as well as my niece and my 3 great nephews and they all LOVED the color. The room looks amazing-almost like a completely new room. I would DEFINITELY recommend R Martin Painting to everyone. Very professional looking job and at a great price.

Arrived on time, personable, strictly business ( no water, bathroom, or snacks ) I like that!

R Martin Painting came out and painted our entryway and up the stairs and into the hallway. I would recommend them to members. Their estimate was a little confusing the way they broke down all the pieces. They did good quality work and they were professional.

They were reasonable and did an excellent job. I would use them again in the future.

He's very much of a perfectionist, very clean and neat. He did a great job. His recommendation for the colors I was interested in was exactly what I wanted. He's very polite, courteous, came exactly when he said he would and had the job completed the job when he said he would. It looks terrific and changed the whole appearance of the front of the house. We've had him do our deck in the past, he refinished it and he did a good job. He had plenty of workers come and get the job done in the period of time he said.

They were punctual and stuck to it till they were finished. They were professional too. My property was clean and nice when they left. They laid down things for protection and they did pick up after the work was done. I ran into a problem with the quality. I thought that they would scrape it all the way down, but they didn?t. They were just painting using some kind of a primer on it to take care of it. I really wanted a better job and so I told them to go ahead and do it. I wasn?t informed at that time. I didn?t realize how much it would cost for an hour and it was exorbitant. So I had them quit scrapping since I found that out. I felt that it should have been presented to me in the beginning, but their work was good. There wasn?t any problem with their work. It was just that I expected something else. I hadn?t discussed with them thoroughly and they hadn?t discussed with me as well. They were very responsive since they came out immediately after I called. They worked all the time. They were professional too. We didn?t come to a clear understanding about what they were going to do. It wasn?t that I was totally upset with their work, but I wouldn?t use their services again.

They did the work pretty quickly and showed up when they said they would. There were two small spots they missed painting and I couldn't get them to come back and touch them up.

They did a very good job. If we need anything else we will have them back. They were in and out in one day.
