Description of Work: Interior painting to include living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway and staircase. Outstanding job, very professional crew, quality materials, cleaned up every day. Extremely pleased with entire job. Best painting contractor we've ever used in 30 years.

Description of Work: They prepped and painted my laundry room, taking down old paper and painting. They were prompt, efficient and did a very nice job on painting. We plan to use them on a larger painting job outdoors when the weather improves.

Description of Work: This contractor was very, very responsive, actually sneaking our one little room in between other bigger jobs and was ready to paint within two days. We were under a severe time crunch because we were moving in furniture from out of state and could save money by doing it immediately. He was very courteous and thorough and the person he sent to paint was punctual and very patient and understanding. Unfortunately, my husband was asking for something that I found later from other painting firms was not doable without a great deal of time and expense. Martin Painting was set up to do a great job, and save us a great deal of money by not doing what my husband had thought was necessary but later rescinded. He knows his stuff. He is down to earth. He is flexible and punctual and reasonably priced. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: I was reluctant to write a review. I bought the $99 deal back in October. My room was a little larger than the deal so I assumed there would just be an upcharge. I was immediately contacted by R. Martin. Discussions were had with my husband about color, room, etc. The holidays came and went and the ball was in my court to schedule the service. Life got busy and this got pushed on the back burner. I left a vm message in April indicating that my deal had expired (or was close to expiring) but that I still needed the room painted. The certificate said promotional value expired 6 months from purchase, however value could be used toward regular price of job. On April 10th I received a text message that he would try to do the job asap but was hoping to do it over last winter. I told him the color I wanted and that I could get paint or he could get it and I'd reimburse. I told him the room size. He replied that the max room size for that deal was smaller. I said, while I understood that, I assumed there'd just be an upcharge if the deal was still valid, which it wasn't. I was just looking to get the $99 applied to the regular job. I didn't hear from him again until a text message on May 20 asking if he could paint the room the next day. I replied no, I was out of town. A little more notice would have been appreciated. I painted the room myself last month. I don't know if it was a break down in communication, but at this point I'm out $99 and I'm a little annoyed by the whole situation. When I was finally ready to paint, the room size shouldn't have been an issue. The promotional deal expired. I considered the $99 a down payment for a job that needed to be completed. I got the impression that he didn't want to be bothered at that point based on the short notice I was given when he wanted to paint. Overall this was not a good experience for me and I'm out $99.

Description of Work: Removed a very large quantity of wallpaper and patched walls throughout. Painted every square inch of this 4200 sqft hudson home along w/ entire three car garage, and all exterior trim, shutters, doors, etc.
