The roof looked good until we started having some rain. We had two skylights that leaked. After we finally talked to them they tried to blame everyone else but them. I later after the warranty was up around October 2012 I had found another major leak, they only give like a 3 or 4 year warranty, we paid them extra for that. This year we have had a couple of small leaks and another leak in another area of the house, it really started to show when we had ice back up and rain during the winter. I am at the point now where I am thinking about having another roofer out to replace the full roof again.
Description of Work: Replaced whole roof.

After calling 4 roofing companies (some who never bothered to return my calls), I asked friends and family for a recommendation. Two family members recommended R. Crowe - a family owned business in the Akron/North Hilll area. R. Crowe came out to look at my roof and give me an estmate within hours of my phone call, took pictures of the problem areas (some of the problem areas included places where former owners had put up to 5 layers of shingles over problem areas, and I swear some shingles looked like they were attached by duct tape). R. Crowe was very professional and didn't treat me like stupid female homeowner as some other contractors have. They came out three days later to replace the work and finished it in one day (with a crew of about 20 guys managed onsite by a woman!). The crew was very professional - I have a new fence, trellis, and very large landscaped areas with bushes and trees and flowers very close to the roofed areas, and everything thing survived without a a scratch or a mashed flower anywhere. They used huge tarps to protect my landscaping and yard and cleaned everything up before they left. They installed a new gutter where previously there was a series of wacky pieces of flashing shoved under shingles to divert rainwater and it solved some moisture issues in my basement due to water leaking down the foundation of the house. They were very responsive a few weeks later when I called to ask follow-up questions. I would use them again (and will probably next year when the garage needs roofed). I'm surprised that they have not been reviewed by anyone else on Angie's List! No website, but they have a facebook page (where I went to see pictures of other houses they have roofed and comments from customers).
Description of Work: I have a historic 1936 Sears Catalog home with a very steep roof with lots of peaks and valleys (and a very problematic chimney flashing resulting from years of bad repairs). They replaced my whole roof and repaired and created some gutter pieces to help fix some problem areas due to steep roof/large amounts of rainfall overshooting the existing gutter.
