Very clean job, I was surprised at how little mess there was. Good at answering questions and taking care of concerns. Did a great job, would definitely use again.

My experience with Pioneer was A+. From office personnel, to Ron (sales), to Gammy (project lead), I was very satisfied with the quality and the customer service. Sales/pricing was very competitive. I never felt pressured, nor did they try to sell me solutions I did not need. Although the crew did their best to compartmentalize the dust, don't be surprised when you need to clean your entire house, despite all attempts to limit the dust. The crew leader kept me informed at each step of the job, and asked me to view the drainage system before they replaced the concrete. Clean up was appropriate. After obtaining 6 bids, I selected Pioneer based on their online reviews, competitive pricing, and customer service. Scheduling worked well and they were actually able to fit my project in earlier than planned due to an exterior project postponement due to weather. I would definitely recommend this company!

They were very good in how they dealt with me and how they were rated by other consumers. There were expensive, but did an excellent job. I will recommend them and use them again if necessary.

I had water damage along one wall of my basement. I contacted several water-proofing companies through Angie's List and ultimately chose Pioneer Basement Solutions. I could not have asked for a better experience, from Ron, who did the estimate, through Brennan, Greg, Chris, Chase, Drew, JJ, Evan and Brandon, who did the actual work. Ron replied promptly to my online request for an estimate, came out right away to inspect the property, spent a good deal of time discussing the various options, and encouraged me to contact him if I had any questions. I decided to water-proof the whole perimeter of the basement from the inside, including covering the entire walls and adding another sump pump. We scheduled a time in January, but they called me when they had a cancellation. Brennan and his crew told me to expect the work to take four or five days, but they were able to add workers and finish in three. They were prompt, professional, friendly, courteous and competent. I was especially impressed with how hard-working they were: they literally RAN up the basement stairs with buckets of debris. They accommodated my request for a later start time, laid mats down wherever they walked upstairs, hauled away all the ruined carpet and furniture, and cleaned up thoroughly once the job was finished. Brennan also gave me his contact information in case I had questions after they left.

Pioneer did an excellent job with our waterproofing job. They were on time, quick, and professional. They came out on a Saturday so my husband or I didn't have to take of work, which I really appreciated. They did a great job and I would definitely have them do work in the future.

A+ The crew was professional and did a great job. I'm glad that they replaced the basement wall because they determined that the sump pump was not draining to the storm drain to the street. The pipe wasn't connected and all of the water from the sump pump was leaking back down the outside of the basement wall which probably caused the issue.

Excellent. Although the job could have cost thousands of dollars, Pioneer suggested a much less costly solution that would not involve them in the repairs. Don't see honesty like that very often when trying to find a contractor. Would not hesitate to recommend Pioneer to anyone!

over the past 6 months I have had Ron Lee out 3 times to look at my water penetration issues in my basement. Multiple phone calls and 3 visits to my home. I was never pressured into signing a contract. I had 5 different estimates for the job. Pioneer pricing was competitive and felt they were the best choice to get the job done the way I wanted it. Thanks Ron for your patience. As of now this review is on there sales practices only. No high pressure. No gimmicks. Just honest answers. The work will be completed in May and I will follow up with a review once work is completed.

Excellent! Ron came over and inspected our foundation. He recommended we have our gutter and sump pump drainage lines inspected for breaks or clogs. He suggested this could be our problem, not foundation. He was spot on. There was a MAJOR break by the house causing water to drain down foundation wall, back into foundation drains and back into the sump pump. There was a 3 foot diameter sink hole in my front bed extending under our walk way. A major problem was avoided. On another line there was complete blockage caused by a weeping willow tree roots that completely entered and clogged the line. Ron saved me thousands of dollars of unneeded work. Our experience with Pioneer Basement Solutions could not have been better. Ron Lee scheduled an appointment with us that fit into our schedule. He was punctual and professional throughout the whole process. After examining our basement and the outside of our house, Ron offered us solutions that we could do on our own without the expense of doing an interior or exterior waterproofing. Throughout the entire process my wife and I both felt that Ron had our best interest at heart. If the solutions that we are going to try do not work throughout this winter we will definitely be calling Pioneer Basement Solutions back to our house to do an interior water proofing. Pioneer cane to my house to evaluate the issue. They found the issue that was causing the moisture. There was no charge. Due to their honesty, I would recommend Pioneer to quote on any future work.

Ron from Pioneer Basement Solutions visited my house to look at a water problem in a crawl space. He analyzed the problem, looking at both the inside of the crawl space and the exterior including gutters and roofing. He suggested a solution that did not involve using his services at the present time. He told me that the footers were being overwhelmed by rain water from the roof, and that the leakage was because the properly installed drains could not handle the volume of water. We will rework the gutters and downspouts and re-grade the area per his suggestion. Personally Ron was very humble and pleasant to deal with and exuded a confidence that his recommendation was both reasonable and cost effective. He was not out just to get my $$. His recommendation was identical to one I received from my plumber. As a Professional Engineer myself, both recommendations were very similar to one that I developed on my own. At the present time we did not use his services. If his recommendations do not work out and I need further more complicated work, I would certainly use Pioneer Basement Solutions.

016 We had a wet spot on our basement wall after hard rains. Pioneer was the first of 4 quotes and the lowest. Two other quotes for the same solution but less thorough were up to two times higher. Pioneer did an excellent job, controlling all the dust, cleaning the area after the work, hauling all debris away, covering the carpet walkways and solving our problem. We have had several hard rains since and no sign of water anywhere. They were courteous, informative and very professional. We highly recommend them. They guarantee their work.

The installation went great. They first removed some built-in shelves that were covering where the drain needed to go in and then they got to work on the drain. They did a good job getting the drain in and then putting concrete back over it and plastic panels over the base of the walls. They also put the sump pump in and tested the drain to the street. We weren't sure if the drain was clear so this gave us peace of mind. At the end they cleaned everything up completely and gave us a sump pump demonstration. After letting the concrete set for two weeks they came back and reinstalled the shelves, which we appreciated a lot. The crew was excellent. They have been working with Pioneer for years and know their job well. They did quality work and were good about answering questions and explaining things. We had been putting off the waterproofing for years because of bad experiences we had heard of in the past, but this went exactly as I wanted. They did excellent work at a fair price. I wish we had gotten the basement waterproofed years ago. 2/7/16: An update six months later: We have had several runs of hard rains and the basement has stayed completely dry, and I've been able to see excess water going into and on out of the sump. The results are exactly what we wanted and we are still happy we went with Pioneer.

It went extremely well. I told the salesman who initially came to give me a quote that I was very reluctant to have this done. The house is 58 years old and the basement has leaked the whole time. For the last 25 years I have been going down in the basement during rainy weather to sweep water down the drain twice a day. I hadn't wanted to have the waterproofing done because I had heard all the horror stories about the noise and, worst of all, the mess. I had heard stories about construction sized jack hammers making unbearable noise, cement dust all over the upstairs and one person told me they had to get a company in to clean up the mess. It was all hogwash. The salesman assured me that the stories I head are absolutely not true. I was not totally convinced but I ordered the work done anyway because I am getting way to old to go down to the basement to sweep twice a day. When the men showed up I was nervous as a cat. There was no need. It was a totally pain free experience. Yes, there was noise but not nearly as much as the people driving up and down my road on summer nights making silly noises with their cars. And, miracle of miracles, there was no dust! Really! I kept going around swiping my finger over the furniture looking for dust. There was none. So far the basement is dry. I keep going down to look for water seeping in. No water!! These people were very careful not to make any mess. They checked to see if there were any permits needed and they took care of all that. They cleaned up after themselves. They even put the junk I had stored in the basement back were it was because it was too heavy for me to move back into place. They even cleaned up some oil their truck leaked on the driveway. If you are thinking about having this done go ahead and do it. It is painless.

1) Straight up price, about 10% more than competitors but no gimmicks 2) Arrived on time, cleaned up job site each day. 3) Very hardworking, professional. 4) Final price matched estimate, excellent work, did not try to cut corners anywhere did an all out job. 5) Called 2 years later when sump pump tripped GFCI, came over as scheduled and replaced under warranty. One of the same install guys too, that was cool. **Awesome**. Slightly more expensive than others but well worth it, peace of mind and knowing people that do the work can be trusted in an around the home.

Though my basement is dry, I called Pioneer Basement Systems to check some cracks in the walls and foundation of my house. Ron Lee, Inspected the basement and assessed that there was no immediate cause for concern. He assessed that my home is aging and along with aging comes some cracks. I appreciate his honesty with not trying to sell me something I don't need.

There was a bit of confusion on the initial contact but once I received a call Rick was very responsive and collaborative in finding a date for the service. The work was performed by Caleb and he was fantastic; very knowledgeable and professional.

Ron was on-time for the job review, checked the basement wall for moisture, thoroughly explained the required work to properly complete the job and showed us the company insurance certificates. The cost was reasonable for the scope of work required, the estimated installation time-frame was also to our satisfaction and Ron did not employ a high pressure sales pitch. We were contacted the week before the job was started to make sure the dates met our schedule. Caleb was the crew leader and the entire crew was on time both days. Caleb reviewed the entire job with us before starting, checked the inside basement wall for the crack locations and any unforeseen utility lines along or within the wall area that was being repaired. Caleb patiently answered my questions during the job so that I could learn the correct procedure to complete this job. The entire crew was friendly and cleaned up the work area upon completion. Caleb went above the job scope by installing topsoil upon completion to make up for the large boulders that they removed from along the basement wall work area. The soil was also thoroughly compacted during the back-fill to help with the settling this coming spring. The completed work area looks as good as before the job was started and they replanted the plants located within the work area with our understanding that they could not guarantee their survival from being disrupted during the cold weather. We are very satisfied with the entire job and strongly recommend this company to anyone needing their services for basement water seepage. This is a professionally run company that does not use high pressure/unnecessary sales techniques and employs a knowledgeable caring work crew with a high work ethic. I purchased the Deal because we are looking at finishing a portion of our basement. We wanted to make sure that the existing waterproofing, drainage system and sump pump were up to par before we started putting framing, drywall, etc, over them! Ron was very thorough and provided my husband with a lot of information about our system (which was put in by previous owners) as well as what we should do when we begin to finish the space. Overall, a really courteous, professional person: I recommend Ron highly!

It went very well. 1. We are in a short period time to have an estimate to present to the seller. Ron Lee responded very timely during the weekend while others did not respond and we scheduled the appointment on Mon. 2. Ron is very professional and answered all my questions and provide a fair price to do the water proofing for both interior and exterior.

Estimator examined basement. Recommended an internal waterproofing solution. Asked him if he had noticed any evidence that that had already been done. He said no. Took him back downstairs to show him (it was hard to miss - but he missed it). It's clear this guy just going through the motions and just selling what's in his three ring binder regardless of what you have in your basement. Don't know if this is indicative of the company's work but that experience was unimpressive.
